WALKING CAPE LE GRAND - Thistle Cove to Hellfire Bay

Following on from our Lucky Bay to Thistle Cove walk as part of the Cape Le Grand coastal trail, we present the section from Thistle Cove to Hellfire Bay and Return.
A 5km 2.5 hour class 4 walk one way, allow at least 6 hours for the whole return walk. Vehicle access is available at either end in the carpark but there is no bus service so you have to organise a pick up if you are doing it one way. The walk can be extended in either direction to Mt Le Grand or back to Lucky Bay/Rossiter bay.
Anyway apart from the potentially tricky section at the creek crossing there is nothing particularly difficult about this walk. Wet weather might make the rocks slippery and dangerous but as always check the conditions before you walk and walk within your own capabilities, some of the slopes are steep and access to the track itself is non existent if something should go wrong, carry water and walk in the cool of the day in summer
