    • @LimReviews
      @LimReviews  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think if size is your main concern your only option is the OPPO Find X8 as the Vivo Mini is not going global. Not recommended to get a China unit even if you can install Google.

    • @samongandroid
      @samongandroid หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@LimReviews Thanks Lim. Are you talking about the lack of after sales support if we get the X200 pro mini and use outside of China? I have a Chinese X90 Pro Plus with Google on it and have no issues, so we're confident that the pro mini should be fine outside of China as well. What we're really struggling with is the camera and usability comparisons as different reviewers have different outcomes. The Vivo is supposed to have better cameras because it has newer sensors, but the Oppo seems to produce better pictures (Hantalk liked the Oppo more even though the Vivo was slightly more detailed). Is it because the Oppo's camera sensors are more mature, and the Vivo needs more time to mature? Its hard for us to do a real comparison when testing both phones inside a shop (we're in China). One clear advantages for either phone that I've noticed is that Oppo has better action photos, while Vivo has slightly better macro shooting. For AI, Oppo seems slightly better. We were told that the camera sensors in the Vivo pro mini is the same as the X200 Pro, however the sizes are different, the pro mini is slightly smaller.

    • @LimReviews
      @LimReviews  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@samongandroid Hi again buddy! I think you highlighted a very good point: Every reviewer is having different outcomes.
      It's simple actually.
      Everyone shoots different subjects, at different locations, under different environments, with different lighting conditions, and different focal lengths, and the list goes on.
      Question back to you - how are you expecting one reviewer's shooting experience to match yours exactly?
      My conclusion is none of these phones have bad cameras.
      At the end of the day, it's not really the tool, but the person's skill that makes a photo turn out different from another.
      Person A might feel phone A is a potato, but pass that to a pro and he/she can make that "potato" feel like a DSLR. I hope you get this.

    Next year, I'm considering either the regular Oppo Find X8 global set or the OnePlus 13 China set. I'm leaning towards the Find X8 due to its smaller size, flat screen, and global ROM with local warranty. Oppo is good but isn't really better than the Vivo. Despite the lack of two optical lenses it performs better at portraits at all zoom lenses than the oppo.
    Vivo generally is about 5% to 10% better in nearly all areas of photography, sometimes it's toe to toe though for sure.
    Oppo wins in design and battery performance (despite having a slightly smaller battery).
    Oppo really shouldn't have used camera hardware that's over a year old. Both Vivo and oppo do well with computational photography but oppo would have edged it had they chosen to use newer modules.
    The difference isn't much, but really the Vivo wins if you care about photography. There's no two ways about it.

    Samsung is being quietly smothered by the number of releases by Chinese brands and blurring of flagship specs. One company coming out with 3 flagships at the same time and it's not even end of year yet. I wouldn't be surprised if all Chinese phones are actually made by one company. With One UI 7 being delayed until next year and green line issues, Samsung is not in a good place. They should be more worried about the Android space than Iphone.

    • @andyH_England
      @andyH_England หลายเดือนก่อน

      Samsung paid Qualcomm to release the first of any new chips. Two years ago, Samsung lost worldwide rights so China could release it earlier. No doubt due to Samsung Fabs being sacked. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Samsung lost the world's rights to release the first, which could damage their sales. That is why OPPO and VIVO may return to Europe, as Samsung is no longer treated ahead of its rivals.

      I have done individual videos so if you're interested in benchmarks and screenshots I'd appreciate if you go watch those.
      Also - what biasness are you referring to? If 2 cents were not written my thoughts would still be the same. Have you even tried all 3 causing you to think this video is bias?
      PS: Glad you appreciate the quick summary. It's exactly what it is.
