      Looks like sphalerite smells like it but our assays were lower for zinc. Black sulphides could be a number of things including sulfosalts. Need to examine under a microscope even then sometimes its hard to tell. So we don't mislabel we just call it black sulphides for the video. Still could be some sphalerite we are going to run more samples with a full ICP because sphalerite makes sense.

      @@911mining Most who watch you are amature pospectors. Copper is useless to us. It's $3 a pound. And zinc?? Please!!! It is worthless. I test for gold, silver, lead and platinum. If I see copper, I am usually interested in the Chalco as it might have platinum. Lead is of interest for the silver values plus lead is now bringing $10 a pound. Every thing else is just junk rock. We work alone and can only spend time on productive ores. The unknown black stuff, I would test for silver. If it's zinc, I would walk on. I have no idea why you don't carry a blowpipe kit. You no longer need a blowpipe as Ebay sells a butane pencil torch for $3.29 all you need is the fluxes, microcosmic salts and some charcoal. A micro fire essay is easy and 100% proof. I think they got you boys doing what you do to prove the value of the claim to borrow money against, not to actually mine!! Your getting good at recognising rock types. Perhaps you now need to find out how to prove what is in them :) Go to this site and scroll down past the video to the place where it says "Blowpipe Assaying methods". You can do that on the back of your truck, just like we do LOL! 911metallurgist.com/blog/blowpipe-analysis-for-testing-minerals Your a good kid. You do not need an XRF!!! You find a 5% silver ore, 2 toe sacks of rock will give you 5 pounds of silver!!!! In a 1% gold ore, the same 2 toe sacks would fetch 1 pound of gold!!! And you can't do that till you master blowpipe assaying ;)

      We have cut samples on our website from here listed already, and some uncut samples. Your right there are hoards all over the road cut follows mineralization for 300m and then crosses it through 89 meter wide of the mineralized zone.

    Do you ever crush any of that to find gold ???? Tired, of hearing piright want some gold

    • @911mining
      @911mining  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Don't have the proper equipment for that, most ores don't have free milling gold that can be crushed and panned at home..in fact very little do. You'd want to make a concentrate and find a buyer to make real money off this. We are intrested mainly in the copper here as there are past producers on this mountain with decent sized historical deposits this is the better route for something like this and to bring it to production far more work is needed. Crushing with a regular crusher likley wouldn't liberate the gold from the sulphides, need special equipment.

      I have assays that prove otherwise . The primary mineral we are after here is copper with Au and Ag secondary. We aren't claiming there's 600oz/ton of gold just that there is copper, with some silver and gold values.

      Exploring Abandoned gold mines did go to the copper mines near lake cowichan on vancouver island. Unfortunately he wasn't able to explore any of the mines on mt sicker due to the backfilling and flooding... I think. The rock in the area is mostly copper ore and it is reflected in the claims at lomas lake / El capitan mt landale Bart and tess claims... the assay results at least.
