Anyone who knows and loves Anacrusis knows how lucky they are to have somehow found this massively awesome and massively underrated band. Bought Manic Impressions on a whim in 91 and it blew my mind....and they are still my favorite band today. Thanks for featuring them!!
I played the hell out of their first three albums during my tenure at NC State's college radio station WKNC & "Chainsaw Rock". Blew my mind then as well and I still listen to them to this day.
It's always heartwarming to see this incredible band get the credit it deserves. Kenn Nardi is just a great and very unique songwriter and arranger.

Great video and great Band. I had Screams and Whispers back in the day. I remember seeing Sound The Alarm on Headbanger's Ball way back then and bought the album the next day.

Great to see a vid like this on Anacrusis, hardly anyone ever mentions them and they're the ones missing out. What a fanstastic band, I bought Reason when it came out and its incredible, it's one of my favourite ever albums and I still listen to it all the time. Screams and Whispers is superb too and Manic Impressions is really good. Only got Suffering Hour more recently and its got some good bits. I'll have to check out some of your other vids.

I discovered this band through Headbangers Ball
One of the top two Greatest Metal Bands of All Time (only because Maiden is number 1)... Absolutely underrated to the point it's criminal!
I discovered these guys totally by accident. I was going to the discount tape of my local music store in the mid-90s well after they had split up and I came across the album Screams and Whispers and I loved how the logo looked so I figured I'd give them a chance and instantly fell in love with their music. I turned on a lot of my friends to as a result of that tape and even went back to the music store but I got it from and bought all the rest of the copies on tape and CD so I would have extra copies and be able to give some to my friends. Had to hunt down the other albums online in order to buy them because that store didn't have them. Even got Annihilation Complete when it was released back on 09'
Screams and Whispers must be one of the best final albums. If it is their final album?
Yeah unfortunately it is their final album. But Kenn’s latest album Trauma sounds very much like it could be Anacrusis.
