This is so cool to me. I didn't grow up with the Rayman series so I didn't know about the whole Rayman 4 thing, but just seeing these mechanics locked away but still accessible is just wild. It reminds me of like those playground rumors that you could get out of your car and walk around in old racing games, but this is actually real. Just shows how much of a rush job it was to convert it into solely a minigame collection, the Rabbids behaving like actual platformer enemies and Rayman being able to be hit and "die" is especially surprising.

I find it sad for Rayman 4 turning into a party game(I blame the Wii that caused it to change over motion controllers.) I don’t hate Rabbids but it would be cool to find the Rabbids Models that are the more sinister version of themselves from that Early Rayman 4 trailer.
@Derp Bart What I find confusing is why didn't they do the party game as an appetizer for the real game? Think about it. Pigs called plums? Now that whole "crying plum" thing makes sense! This is amazing! Though his falling speed with the helicopter seems way too gradual. Together with the absent heilcopter animation, and the fact that he was "able" to double-jump, I get the feeling that the jumping mechanics were very early in development, since that's the sort of thing I would expect to see in an early preview of a fangame. I wonder if they had difficulty implementing Rayman's traditional moveset in the Jade engine? :? Does "OBBOX" really mean Globox though? I would guess it means "Outer Bounding Box" or something like that…
If you spam all the buttons in the Bat mini-game, you can actually use some of these moves. If you do it on the Warthog one Rayman’s hair disappears, all the characters fall through the floor, and the screen goes blank
My dude, I have been researching more things (I mean like videos, articles) that had to do or connects to the RRR prototype (Rayman 4) since the 3th grade (I'm in 10th right now) after I saw the trailer and getting Rayman Origins on Christmas 2011, you manage to find the unused animations, like wow.
