I raised 8 kids all in one house..5 boys and 3 girls and I'm broke as hell but I've never missed a birthday, graduation, a knee scrape or nothing. Time is everything.

As someone who had a father who had children by multiple women, I can say it definitely affected my upbringing not having him in the household and it also affected my relationship with my other siblings. Nothing good about what Nick Cannon is doing.

When I say this, I’m not dismissing Nick Cannon’s part in it, but we can’t put all the blame on him. We as women have some part in it when you do know this man can get you pregnant easily and he has a certain number of children by different women. When Nick’s baby died (earlier this year or last year), he said he felt guilty because he hadn’t spent much time with the baby. Now, if he couldn’t spend much time with the baby when he had only 6 or 7 kids, how is he going to have enough time to spend with 10 kids?

hey there was 9 of us and my Mom and Dad was married. He was in the Military and away alone. Yet, when he was home, we knew he was there heart and soul. We had love, and a lot of giving, and compassion for others. We all came out on top with valuable lessons. It doesn't matter how many kids you have, but if you can take care and love all of them the same!
I have 3 siblings and I know how hard it was for my parents to spend quality time with each of us kids independently. It’s almost like Nick cannon thinks that being rich makes you a good dad. He will see the mess he created once the kids get older

Different strokes for different folks. If this was back in the days , this would be normal because the man is in the field all day working and the mother is taking care of the nurturing responsibilities. The father's job was to instill some sort of work ethic and business/trade that can be passed down for generations. He's left enough imprints for his children to learn from. I don't think he condones Nicks action, I think what he was trying to say is that we cant judge his ability to be a father figure to his kids based off of the situation. You don't have to be the most present to be a father figure to a child if we're being honest. He will never be able to give each of them enough time but he can still be a father figure of sorts

I'm certain Nick loves, tries to spend as much time, and financially support his kids BUT we all know that of all of those three things...Nick can NOT spend the maximum amount of his free time with one. Is he getting all of his 10 kids together to spend time with them all every time he has free time? I don't know if that's happening or not but I would be hard pressed to believe that it is.
Women have to take responsibility for deciding to have a child with a guy who ALREADY has kids...especially if he has kids by another woman that are just being potty trained. I get it...women want to have a child by a man that can support that child WITH her but I think some of the women are NOT factoring spending time with the child as form of "support". There's more to raising a child than financial support. There's mental support...emotional support...spiritual support...and other types of support that child will need as he/she navigates through life.
So my message isn't an ATTACK against Vivica, Nick, nor the mothers but against the narrative/ideology that says that the MAN, particularly the "black man", is the SOLE cause of a dysfunctional family/fractured homes. Other than seahorses, I have YET to see a male bring forth a child ALONE.
Lastly, anytime there's a discussion about family...whether positive or negative...think of peanut butter and SPREAD the blame as well as the praise towards ALL individuals involved.
Women need to make better decisions. I notice that a large percentage of women tend to give their BEST years to the wrong dude and expect the BEST dude to expense the baggage. Women, please consider accepting that regular guy (who will truly love you) that you turned down instead of selecting the guy that appears to be amazing and will never love you and devote his energy into ya'll vision.
In conclusion, the black woman is the most disrespected woman on the planet and the black man is the most hated/feared man on this planet. Also, you need money to provide for the children (not necessarily 10's of millions if you don't have a high number of kids). You should not have to pick a struggle. why is it being posed that way? You can have a loving family, something to eat, and somewhere to stay all at the same time. It's been done before I promise. It seems to be hardwired in our community that you have to have one or the other.

I think one big issue keeps getting overlooked, it doesn't matter how big the mothers smiles are during their pregnancy photo shoots with Nick, their feelings have to be crushed when they look up 2 months later and he's doing the exact same thing with another woman. And granted he is able to provide for the children financially, but whose gonna be there for the mother, I'm sure she needs more than financial support at times. I find it sad and disturbing how this show is an apologist for a lot of celebrities. Showing up every once is a while is not enough. You need a full time father. I divorced and moved a mile away and was still active in my children life everyday. Although I lived in another house I didn’t leave my kids. I was still present and there every day.

When you have a late bday you're usually among the youngest in the class . My bday falls in November & I was still 17 when I graduated Hs & started freshman in college . In 2nd semester I was finally 18 . I could be wrong tho but turning 19 in Dec as a senior sounded like he started school a year late , or stood back .
No, in certain states if your birthday comes in September or later you have to start school the following year. Most places in the south are like that. His son's birthday is in December so he would have started kindergarten or 1st grade a year behind. I live in NY so as long as your birthday is before December 31st you enter school the same year as all of your peers born the same year. He clearly stated that. Not every state has the same rules for starting school.

He's known to not remain in relationships, yet each new woman chooses to have a child with him. He'll be able to take care of the children financially. But, they will miss out on real quality time with him. It's not feasible when there are multiple households, and each one is run differently. Some one is bound to feel slighted.
