I'm not sure they even tried to properly balance the triple 2s. Plus it was hard to get each cylinder operating exactly in tandem with its sisters. But when everything was working they were crazy fast with inadequate brakes and tires.

I remember that smell, the sound and my one boot being much darker than the other. . I survived.

@@heinzbaron9129 as far as balancing them, that was why you took them to a machine shop for fancy tuning to get the crank balance, to get your pistons and rods weight even. the only thing left once the engine got spinning was the carburetion synchronization which is not hard. the old Kawasaki triples are dirt easy to master mechanically but just never were framed to handle well and the center cylinder which could overheat locking up the engine.

Just seen a video today actually about a 278 ft tower dive on a drone.... claiming the worlds highest, when someone has done the same to the burj khalifa in Dubai... Over half mile worth of difference.. But that didnt stop the nobody from claiming his was the worlds highest despite being beatin by roughly 2500 ft.
I don't remember, it was in the early 70's and from a snowmobile, probably an Arctic Cat or possibly even a Kawasaki snowmobile. There were a lot of different makes back in those days. It had the belt drive and tuned exhaust.@@crashalexander7232

Kawasaki made a 3 cylinder motor back in the 70's that came in 3 sizes. There was a 350,a 500,and a 750 cc, they were all two stroke motors. They all were street bike's and had insane acceleration, as a matter of the 500, and the 750cc were actually band because to many people who would buy them,and then proceeded to kill themselves by running into a solid object of some kind. Then they came out with the KZ 900 it was a great road machine in a straight line, turns were a bit sluggish but overall it was amazing ( I know I had one and it was a great bike, beating out the Honda 750cc all day long), and while it was at the time a very quick and responsive motorcycle eventually tech got better and it was replaced by the KZ 1000 which was the main motorcycle for the California HWY Patrol for many years.
I had a stretched go-cart back years ago with two 25hp McCullough 101A engines on it. It was super fast. I'd like to ride one of these. Probably would be a trip at 64.
I have been racing in Glamis for 10 years I run a 10 mill super cheetah cub stroked. IF YOU ARE NOT RUNNING KENNY ROBERTS PIPES his shop is in socal then you are not above the rest I had everything done I spent 25k on my drag banshee it wasn’t until I ran Kenny Roberts pipes when I found true speed and Skat track triple buffed extreme paddles. If you have a fully done motor and your not winning trust me get Kenny Roberts pipes
Arctic cat had a big triple, call northern crankshaft they have a 1750cc cases still on hand. 2-stroke power! Or they can custom build your crankshaft to put two motors together....ie... 2 banshee motors ect... show them the money! They will make it happen! Northern Crankshaft is in Northern Minnesota by arctic cat and Polaris industries....
I bought one of those from harbor freight it works pretty good the assembly was a mess it only came with a spark plug socket and some bar and chain oil 😅
When i raced motocross and cross country when i was younger, my gear saved me from countless injuries, and on 2 occasions, im pretty sure it saved my life. It's so cringe when i see people doing this stuff without at least a chest protector and boots. Maybe people haven't had serious crashes, or they just dont care about their well-being.
You have no idea how crazy these bikes can get when you mix big money with an open class. That triple 1100cc snowmobile engine is the baddest engine in the game for power to weight ratio. Like that green bike, a big man could pick it up and carry it off of a trailer. Yet it has like 145hp with a 80 pound 14 yr old manning the machine. Big money maker, every weekend.
The chain that runs the power should be protected somehow. If the chain breaks, it could do injuries to the driver. Some kind of protective plate between the saddle and the chain would work well.

I loved my two stroke RM 125 back in the day... After I blew it up and got it rebuilt I could hang with my friends that had CR 250's...

The cowling around the handlebars is the only thing Banshee on this entire quad.
The Banshee engine was a 350ccYamaha taken frim the rd350. Not a 3 cyl. That was a Kawasaki enginem
