@@devincristopher3 same!! They are a moment for me. Sometimes a single trip out of the house and then I change out. My sweet spot is small bags not mini or micro or nano.
@@gdkarma i love a small roomy bag! if its hard to get in and out of i get irratated quickly😂🙈

When I was still working at the hospital and later the office, I only used totes as well. You have to be able to throw it on your shoulders! Thanks for the information Eva!

I am so glad I stumbled upon your video. I considered this as a travel bag. I ordered a passport cover from Lilly and bean for my daughter and it looks very cheap! I wondered about the totes
I can’t recommend for long term or heavy use. I don’t think this bag is made for heavy use-just to look cute.

I'm glad it was helpful. The quality of the bag is just okay. But if you really like the personalization aspect, then that's probably the only reason I could recommend it.

This is a beautiful and more reasonably priced alternative to the Chanel Deauville…I’m guessing that because there is no “leather” break in the chain for the shoulder, that it really isn’t meant for a true shoulder carry, but maybe just there for convenience. I wonder if the Deauville has the same clearance issue? Thanks so much for reviewing this bag!!!🥰

I feel your pain! I liked the quilted Coach Field tote 22 but the handles sticking up in the way killed it for me. I bought the Coach Dempsey tote instead just because the handles folded down.

Thanks for this review! I've been looking for a review that compared the Medium tote with the Jumbo. I have several Goyard totes and a Deauville but was looking for something more undercover for daily use to the pool. Might get the Medium in black. The grey doesn't look as special or as flexible for travel. Cheers!

I am continuously looking for the ideal work tote (so many things to carry…!). I have some I like, but feel that the ideal one is still out there. At this point I may have to look for a professional looking backpack.

I don't know, but that's a good question. There were even more to show after I stopped filming, but I think I got the point across.
I've seen this brand over the years, and thought they always looked great on the jet-set rich girls, wafting around with their matching luggage, but it seems not so user-friendly for us mere mortals! TFS your thoughts 💕

I’m so sorry to hear that this doesn’t work. It’s the same look as the Chanel Deauville, but I would never pay the price of the Deauville. I thought this would be a good option, but no shoulder carry is a no go for me. I can only imagine what it must be like trying to get that bag over the shoulder while wearing a coat.
Right? Who thought that would be a good design? But now I know and hopefully this review will help others before they decide.
I have had mine a couple of years, if your bag is constructed like mine the handles will fold down in time.
If you ever find that the long straps are getting in the way and you don’t want to remove them completely. Pull the strap from the zip tail end, and place that part inside the bag, you should still be able to zip it up, and this way the straps are not hanging long outside of the bag, it should look like short straps on the outside. I hope that makes some kind of sense.

It’s such a nice looking bag and I guess the fact you can personalize it is a big seller. I think they should have thought the handle situation out better. Maybe it would be a good beach bag.🤔

It doesn’t work because of your needs for a work bag. For a bag under $150, it’s pretty good. The handles look like they’ve stayed in good condition. It would be interesting to see a follow up after a year on the wear and tear. For people who want the Chanel look without the price, I think it’s decent. For reference I don’t have one so very interested in an update.
Yes that's why it didn't work for me. I haven't used it enough to really do a review yet, but I'll try to give it some more use so I can accurately report on how it holds up.

Ok, this is my opinion, and it’s something I’ve had to do. I take my personal handbag to work which is usually of a medium size. In addition I’ve learned to take a second bag full of additional items I need such as paperwork,lunch or food items and water bottle, maybe additional shoes wrapped in plastic. I have given up on trying to get everything into one bag. The bag’s weight alone was injuring my arm and shoulder!
Additionally, I think the reality is that quality handbags are few and far between. I ordered an expensive Dooney tote and was completely disappointed that the leather on the front of the bag was highly textured almost like pebble leather and the leather on the back of the bag was smooth. That was not the design of the tote, it was a quality control issue. I have decided to stick to handbags in the 100 to 300 range and accept that the quality is probably crummy. To me it is a sign of the times. Quality is poor and prices are high. Also, I’m going to stop purchasing handbags as often because of the disappointment around quality. If I have a quality handbag I’m going to get more/longer wear from it.

Your quality bags are really worth their weight in gold now and I don't blame you for getting as much use as possible from them. Thanks for weighing in on this topic!
