The History of Balbriggan Bath and Boathouse with Moyra Lee

Find out about the History of Balbriggan Bath and Boathouse with previous owner, Moyra Lee. The Boathouse and Bath House at King Strand, Bath Road, Balbriggan are heritage landmarks, with significant social and architectural histories stretching back to the late 19th century. The buildings have suffered badly from the combined effects of vandalism and weather, and have been largely roofless for a number of years.
They are currently in the ownership and care of Fingal County Council. The Council has identified a low impact and appropriate use for the buildings as revived boathouses for Fingal Rowing Club and Balbriggan Scouts.
These works are being funded by the the Our Balbriggan Rejuvenation Programme supported by the Urban Regeneration Development Fund (Department of Housing, Heritage and Local Government) and Fingal County Council’s Capital Programme.
