The Church of Christ gospel is centered around " Water Baptism" and not the "New Birth"...how blind and niave! Very sad that this denomination is leafing sooooo many lost souls to the Eternal Lake of Fire!
Baptism in water saves no one. Was the thief on the cross baptized?... NO!!! But Yesua said the thief would enter into paradise with himself...go figure. The Church of Christ denomination has many erroneous teachings...how sad. He never mentioned the fact that you must be Born Again, according to John 3:3-7 not even once...you know why, for he himself isn't saved.
Lk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. The church was established AFTER Jesus' death. Therefore, when He said what He said to the thief about being in paradise with Jesus could save him without being baptized. Why? Because the church wasn't established UNTIL after Christ's death. But, after Jesus' death on the cross ALL people must be born again. Baptism works in this way. When a repentant believer hears the gospel and is pricked to the heart (mind) that person is baptized. The old sinful person is BURIED in a watery grave of baptism and that person is raised a new born person. John 3:4-6 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit (baptism), he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
