There is a lot of experimental shit from Vietnam that could go in the game that would definitely make it interesting, hopefully we see a stoner 63 rifle and in the top magazine fed like a bren
The china lake was really rare and only used be the navy seals

The animations are clean and the weapon models give me a nostalgic feel, plus they included lots of weapon variations which is pretty cool. Sadly the game is basically dead at this point, hope the devs can do something to bring it back to life.

WW2 weapons being used is not inaccurate, especially for the Vietnamese. They used a lot of German weapons the Soviets had confiscated.
Most of them were French stuff
Explanation from a Vietnamese : we did use WW2 weapons like the mosin nagant , garand , mp40 , ppsh in the war because we mostly capture them from the french during the first indochina war (1946-1954 vn-france) when the frenchs still use weapons captured from the germans , and during the second indochina war (mostly called vn war) the weapons are still used by guerilla fighters and some scouting squadrons (well mostly sks) , possible questions like how did the garand and mp40 get into vnmese hands , the answer is still through french forces , americans supplied the baguettes the with their equipment up until 1954 when we won the french forces in Mường Thanh (Điện Biên) and the MP40 is probably captured from the germans in 1945 (we are still ocuppied until august 1945 the revolution begins)

If there’s one issue outside the US battle chatter sounds so terrible, it’s the RPG! The RPG-7 in this game is the RPG-7V2, which is anachronism. The RPG-7V2 was developed in 2001.
Great to see the animations and models getting improved. Now we need some good sound designs and we got a winner.

Historical accuracy : none of this were deployed in vietnam , even in the south . A game like that masacares the vietbam atmostphere and kill it's standards
They really did not make the M1917 Double Action but they did the Nagant .And the Nagant and M12 are not even Double Action , they Hammer is always pulled back .

Yes, but Insurgency is in my opinion better. There is a mod with vietnam maps and guns. Interesting, but nobody plays. Same for Day of Infamy, that actually became a game. But, those two mods are dead. Even DOI has less then 100 players(I think 30-40).
@@balsa0108 Insurgency Sandstorm is even more hardcore very much like Ready or Not and Warthunder. However, both RON and WT have very steep learning curve. On the contrary, Insurgency Sandstorm is actually quite easy to get used to it as well.
I Prefer 2014 one. I like Source engine and animations are a little bit faster, what I think is better. For all Sandstorm Fanboys and other normal players, I need to say that animations in Sandstorm are better(becouse you can do a quick reaload and becouse if you pres r one time and he drops mag and then you change to pistol and you select weapon again you wil just continue the animation. In 2014 you will need to press r again.) In a lot of things Sandstorm is better, but I prefer 2014 one bc of engine and looking of game. I like how m4 has darker colour in 2014, but Sandstorm is better in every aspect.
@@ReviveHF In my opinion 2014 one is harder to play. That is hust my opinion. When I started 2014 one I couldn't get a kill. When I played Sandstorm it was hard but easier for me. Again, this is my opinion. I say that bc a lot of people get mad when you say that their favourite game is easier that other. I hope you are not that kind.

@@Randomly_BrowsingLook, we all know the PPS43 fires slower than the PPSH41 ( that fires at some 1100 or 1000 RPM ), while the PPS43 fires at around 600, but even so the rate of fire in the game is waaaay too low. Its lower than the MP40 rate of fire. Its more like the M3 Greasegun rate of fire.
