But there are more sophisticated artists from the 70s and 80s who created electronic masterpieces that very few people listen to nowadays. I feel like their music was very popular at that time. But today few people listen to them. Their style called the Berlin School of Music is the foundation for what electronic music is today. If you look at Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Michael Hoenig they created very complex electronic music with extraordinary compositions. In fact a lot of their music were live performances. Even in the 21th century there are underrated artists like Redshift, State Azure and Free System Projekt that have very few listeners compared to Synthwave music. And these people have decades of professional musical experience. Many synthwave artists are indie artists and only have a few years of experience.
I originally listened to this playlist back about 3 years ago in early 2021 while beginning online schooling. I was nervous and the program we were using was not very good, but it was my first year getting an online education after being homeschooled for most of my life up until the covid-19 lockdown. I've listened to this playlist on and off since then, and as the days of high-school continue draining away, I find myself here once more to relax and just vibe. This playlist means a lot to me, thanks doc! :D

I’m currently trying to study programming to get a better job, self taught right now just learning from tutorials and hands on experience. Today I was studying for 14 hours straight. Still going after midnight to grind.This music helps keep the grind going and keep my spirits up

Radio Silence sounds like the first of its kind to make a chill jam out of the Duracell sound. The sound they still use today that sounds as futuristic now as it did then, comforting thought actually.
The smooth transitions and mellow beats create the perfect late-night ambiance for unwinding.
So many of these playlists on youtube but I always come back to this one. None of the disjointed vibe-shunting so common in others, just a great run of choices that flow into one another so well it feels like one long song. 10/10

Def going to my faves, perfect to just stare at a sunset and completely get lost in it, it's the kind of music that you just enjoy by yourself, no words are needed, just 3 here Me, Myself and I , there's no room for more, love it and also perfect to go and watch Las Vegas lights at night at some nice view right by the mountain and manage to appreciate that beautiful glare.
