Greetings to my friend in Germany, thank you for liking my video of MSC Bellissima I do appreciate very much. I was not aware that MSC have this tradition of sending a container ship to meet up with a new cruise ship etc although I was informed by another subscriber to my channel that this container ship would be there. It was quite different to see and the MSC Bellissima is a beautiful cruise ship. Last night the christening ceremony had to be moved from the marquee and onto the MSC Bellissima due to the worsening weather for safety of the invited guests and also the fireworks display had to be cancelled due to the wind and rain plus MSC Bellissima was supposed to be leaving today for a short channel cruise that also had to be cancelled so she remains in port until tomorrow when she will finally depart from Southampton......Steve.
Awesome video of a really stylish and elegant cruise ship. The entire MSC cruise ship fleet in my view are the most stylish and elegant, much more so than the monstrosities of Royal Caribbean. I look forward to your next video. Be well and keep safe, regards Gary.

Where is best place to see the ships come in Steve? I am sailing on Indy 25th May but staying in the Novotel Fri night, so was thinking of walking down to see her come in early morning.
Hello Richard well the best places are on Town Quay near to the Red Jet Terminal or there is Mayflower Park and Indy always uses the City Cruise Terminal by Mayflower Park, she does sometimes turn just off of Town Quay and backs down to the terminal. These two place are the best positions to view if you are not walking too far.

I am well used to getting up nice and early to capture arrivals of cruise ships in Southampton. I think you and your family will enjoy cruising as for your kids there is plenty to do on Indy for them.
