Brute well szepsis had to Since he was reverting the state of the game back to their 1st ever patches nobody was on those versions. So custom was mandatory In steam folder and you go to the games properties you can revert it back to its 2015 variant or ALL the way back to the closed alpha version but it's only people who were granted access to it

I agree with this on some level. The pure(ish) realism of the game at launch was really fun when no one knew the game, but now that everyone does it's being geared for a competitive scene: Balancing and game mechanics and whatnot. Is it for the best? Absolutely. The game needs that for longevity, but the game will never be as fun as when it first launched. It felt like a game back in February last year.

Back then they never thought they would be able to do a such destructionable map like Favela or bring a dynamic operator like Mira or Hibana. The realistic lightning is a bit sad they removed it in same places, but they did that due balancing reasons, same deal with all the other stuff. Lets be honest, we still fucking love the game and we still play it till we drop and we are all always very excited for the next updates! Very nice video, gotta love the acog part :P that was just way to relateable

i honestly think they dumbed down everything in the environment. In a very bad way. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to break glass on display cases or the windows on the plane. Those little touches made it more realistic, but they pulled it from the game.
Anyone else been playing since before launch? I stoped playing for a year in early 2018. Hoped back on in late 2018 and quit again in early 2019. Back on again and playing more than ever before. Game has changed so much. My highest of highs were on this game and I’ve also never raged at a game like this before.
Ben Harrison r6 is not realistic, although you can say it is more realistic than call of duty and battlefield in certain aspects it is also less realistic in others. In r6 you have people who can legit just stand back up by enduring pain from bullets, people who have the ability to see through walls via an airborne drone, and people who have nanobots that can heal their teammates. Every game has realistic parts and unrealistic parts for the sake of fun. If you truly want a realistic shooter I’d recommend either insurgency or arma.
