As far as I've heard from everyone, the only actual AI part of this song is the Plankton and Karen voice filter. The instrumental and original singing is all authentic. I did hear that the singer might have been a ghost feature though, so not sure if it's actually Boi What singing.
The other guy had it right, the writing, singing, producing and instruments was done IRL by a person, only AI part being used is to make the vocals sound like plankton and Karen, honestly a really good way to use AI in this instance, and SUCH a banger
in my personal opinion, this is the PROPER use of AI in music. AI covers and stuff like you see all the time are fine for jokes and fun, but THIS is how AI vocals are meant to be used in the actual industry.
I could tell by the way "Plankton" went full "Killswitch Engage" in the vocals that those parts were produced from within a human. It sounds more intense and emotional and you can feel it in your soul lol
Boi What is actually singing the songs with his own voice. He then puts it into a software that makes him sound like Plankton, SpongeBob, Patrick or whatever other character he needs. He probably uses something like Fl Studio or GarageBand
Only the voice is AI, doing AI instrumentals is a whole other beast. Also, AI will never have the same relationship with music as humans. Sure AI will lead to awesome music but more than likely it's going to be AI working with musicians rather than replacing completely.
That's why this sounds so good. It's not replacing talent. It's just being used as a tool to assist the existing talent into what the artist wants it to be.
