Since filming I’ve learnt that there are more BOI WHAT songs on various streaming services. Haven’t checked them out yet though, are they worth it? Apologies again for the weird edits during the Battling My Demons segment.
34:55 I think the reason that boi what doesn’t build upon a story like glorb is because boi what is not glorb, and the art of making ai covers is just a very fun thing to do, there doesn’t have to be an underlying story to it, sometimes it can just be cool to wonder what plankton would sound like if he was singing something akin to MCR
i believe on the battling my demons song, they made it to sort of mock the state in which the metal genre is in right now, so they made it sound like the most cliche song ever. thats what i heard at least.
It was originally just a chorus that Jeris Johnson made in a few hours and posted to show how easy it is to right a generic metalcore type song. Somehow Boi What got in on that and together they fleshed it out into a full song, I guess just for the funsies? Interesting collab for sure
Battling my demons is a stand alone truck not connected to the main story boi what is creating in the album he build here, really shou check some of his others songs
For me , Boi What seams to be more about making music , Glorb is definitely more “story” focused . I think Glorb also using more characters helps keep the sound less umm “predictable “ or helps add variety . Hopefully Boi What starts to experiment with either genre , characters or story . Would help a lot I think. Even if doing so makes him even more “comparable” to Glorb . Either way it’s an interesting thing to watch people take this “meme” idea of using characters voices and attempting to create genuinely decent music is fun to see
Would you return to BABYMETAL and do something similar with listening to multiple songs? I would recommend live performances from their recent PIA Arena 2023 concerts. These four songs: Road of Resistance: th-cam.com/video/4XYMvGJy1JI/w-d-xo.html Monochrome: th-cam.com/video/8pvxCzhBsTM/w-d-xo.html Megitsune: th-cam.com/video/RorkQ79V-68/w-d-xo.html Mirror Mirror: th-cam.com/video/gOg-THRtxbw/w-d-xo.html Playlist of recent performances: th-cam.com/play/PL7Y918oJxXaYGAlhN3DLd5AAoye11F3o4.html

Absolutely worth it
Definitely worth checking out especially both of us and wish I would of known (the clarinet solo there is great)
Boi what does do the vocals he just layers a AI voice changer on top of it. He does everything.

Love seeing the different genres of creators like Glorb. BOi What's Spotify songs sound pretty good.
I think the female vocals in Funeral of an Antihero are meant to be reminiscent of the singing clams from the show
That’s a really interesting idea!

Yeah, to put it simply, it was a song made as a shitpost

I know Battling My Demons is more of a Jeris Johnson song than an AI Plankton song, but it's definitely one of the best
