This is the biggest conspiracy video I've ever made and it took a fair while. So I'd once again like to thank Gamer Supps not only for providing a great product to help my focus but also for giving me full control over how and when to promote them. I think it blends in pretty well with the ads we have in-game but if you want to check it out irl too via my affiliate link then that's also cool: gamersupps.gg/sambram
I think I found a clue to the numbers on the spotting glasses spread around the city with the numbers 0312-2105B I found a location and on the wall there sits 0312-2105A. So I think you might be right about the number not being random.
Mr. Perazels has the ring does his wife also have one. I wonder if the ring marks the people being controlled. Gary could have broken the control like Mr. Perazels does a gone insane. Or maybe the ring is like a receiver that trickle feeds data to and from the person during the day while away from the bigger machines?
Im pretty sure Mr Blue Eyes was supposed to have a bigger place in the story before CDPR start cutting out so many parts of the game. And I hate reading all those shards man.
@@clarencewalters338 yes, she may know the client as a contact but who told you she has seen him? if you give me your phone number i might have you as a contact or a way to comunicate with you but i sure dont know how you look like. idk if that anology makes any sense to you
Queen Lilith being Alt could also be a reference to the fact that Alt is essentially in control of Hong Kong in the greater lore. She basically moved in and took over the city after a plague left it uninhabitable to humans,
Cyberpunk Red Worldbook p.11: "NET is officially down. Alt Cunningham establishes the Ghost World in the ruins of bio-destroyed Hong Kong. As everything in HK is dead, the Chinese government puts a 100-foot wall around HK to keep the plague contained."
Fun fact at 6:32, if you non lethaly take out the 2 agents heading for the AV, their heads will still pop, killing them obviously. They realy do value secrecy.
@@BloodFireDeath_ i agree far more then any other game ive played and its not just random things either. They all have a purpose of being added or "actually happening" in game like idk lore wise. just makes it all so much more cool
I know that we're probably running low on content for 2077, but videos like this have really made you a goto for these kinds of videos. Whatever game you move on to, I hope it has even half the depth to discover
I think a lot of people have moved on from the game (creators and viewers) which is fair given the single player limited nature. I am hoping to keep making Cyberpunk content fairly regularly but will have to intersplice it with other games. There's games with plenty of depth but are gonna take a lot of research for me to learn about to create videos like this for them.
@@SamBram I think it would be a lot of fun to start covering more lore from the table top games. I am particularly interested in the sheet amount of bio-plagues
Don't forget the "Big In Japan" questline. When you finish the quest, Dennis offers you Scalpel as your reward. Then his eyes glow blue, and a completely different voice - new voice actor and all - tells you, "may this blade serve you well." An outside party wants to make sure you have one of the best katanas in Night City, a blade that has no history behind it.
It's a Devil May Cry easter egg, iirc. The "May this blade serve you well" is said by Virgil and the blue eyes are often seen when people transfer money.
That whole mission feels like its a big joke. The whole story of the doctor is an Office reference and the sword is another reference if what the other guy said is true.
On the Killing Moon mission, you see Blue Eyes 3 times, not 2. The first time you see him was inside the airport where if you make your rounds to look for an entry point to bring Songbird in, there’s a guy named Mysterious Stranger watching you with glowing blue eyes. If you haven’t found your way out to get Songbird in and make eye contact with him, he walks to the restroom. If you follow him, he stops right outside the one with the broken ceiling and then walks out - effectively leading you into the right area. There’s also another section during the funeral of Kurt Hansen when the others are gathering. A barghest soldier’s eyes flash blue and lingers for a few minutes before vanishing. Blue Eyes was present, observing it all before dipping out of the body which I assume it was a doll. If you also read No Coincidence, the cyberpunk book that just came out, he appears once again and you quickly learn what his goals are. Along with what Jefferson might actually be.
I thought the "suspicious stranger" was part of Myers group, if I'm correct we are shown him talking or being near Myers or reed, maybe there was two mysterious strangers? I don't do the killing moon path that often so my memory might be a bit fuzzy.
@@TyphonNeuron He’s utilizing multiple corporations to create artificial bodies, putting AI inside them, wiping their memories and implanting false memories. So an AI in one of these synthetic bodies will believe they’re a real person with an extensive and detailed backstory built in. The AI line can create their own emotions and personalities, followed by having the same vice as humans. In one experiment, he uses an AI to kill a key figure of a corporation by giving them a traumatic backstory. Nobody even knows the person in question is an AI, as even they believe that they’re real. In the book, he uses Militech to accomplish it and the end hints that the AI used was one of many.
A man with implanted glowing blue eyes, a black suit with a white jacket underneath, a global schemer and manipulator with powerful connections. If I had a nickel for every time I saw such a character in video games, I'd have two nickels. Weird that both of those games are Action Shooter RPGs where your choices affect everything.
Has anybody ever seen Sam Bram and Gary the Prophet in the same room at the same time? Maybe that's where they took Gary. Into our world, and now Gary is Sam; still trying to warn us.
From the Paralez call, the caller refers to itself as "we". This sounded weird and reall resonated with on instance in Dogtown when a random homeless npc suddenly became hostile and said "we are the legion", implying a rogue AI.
I love the parallels of biblical demons and rogue ais in cyberpunk. In the Bible, Jesus exorcises a demon named Legion who had possessed a man. I like the idea of the rogue ais being literal demons trying to get into our world from hell aka the blackwall
@@cabnbeeschurgr This is an actual conspiracy theory in universe. If you listen to Morro Rock Radio, Mike will sometimes talk about a netrunner friend of his telling him this exact theory. It's worth mentioning that Mike of Morro Rock Radio is actually Mike Pondsmith, the creator of Cyberpunk.
@@cabnbeeschurgr Legion wasn't the demons name, it was referring to the host of demons infesting the man. There were a "legion" (3000-6000, if following Roman terms) of demons inside him.
@@sukiiriinaa Cyberpunk 2077 took 4-5 years to develop. They started after the last dlc for the witcher. So 2027-2029. And I bet it's going to take place in 2077 again.
There’s some more evidence that potentially hints at night corp having way more people under control in Night city politics than just the people related to Peralez. If you talk to the ripper doc who gives you the smart link at the beginning of the game and gives you the joke tattoo when you give Johnny control over your body later in the game, he talks about how a suit in city hall randomly went crazy and in a spur of the moment idea tattooed “fuck nightcorp” on his forehead. The whole thing seems really similar to Jefferson’s paranoia to me.
And then she disappears. That absolutely freaked me out. Easily my favorite cyberpsycho encounter. Edit: You can see her at 20:56 specifically. Scan not needed.
If you read the Cyberpunk lore books you'll learn that there's a digital equivalent of a physical distance between LDLs(Long Distance Link - How Netrunners quickly travel between locations like London to Tokyo), called Wilderspace. This is usually an empty space in between LDLs, like a desert or an ocean. They(netrunners) elude to a myth that something is lurking within Wilderspace, only choosing when it wants to link to the Net, by bypassing LDL and regional security. Some say Rogue AI, perhaps. Because in the net, you can disguise and make yourself look like anything you desire.
I wanted to mention something about black hand bc I haven’t heard anybody else mention seeing this. In the dog town stadium market, by a clothes vendor, I eavesdropped on a convo between an npc and another npc with a deep voice I’ve never heard. The deep voice guy was being questioned by the other guy about how he did the nuke in the elevator in the arasaka attack. Deep voice guy basically tried to say “nah, you got the wrong guy” but it was heavily insinuated that he was thought to be undercover Morgan backhand. I ran to the other side of clothes that were hanging up, because that’s where they’d been talking, and they were GONE. It was so weird and it’s only happened for me once in multiple playthroughs.
I feel having some supernatural elements in cyberpunk is really fun. As long as they are not stricly labeled as supernatural, but just seems like it through the player's eye. It is a bonkers advanced world with secret technology beyond even all the game's characters comprehension. It is a world where there are so many mysteries that are either seemingly impossible to solve or long forgotten. The Arthur Clarke quote that "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" fits so well within the setting. There for adding things like the net and the entities within being "discovered" are great additions, and making these entities seem supernatural adds a lot for me at least.
The rogue ais of the blackwall are essentially demons invading from hell. There are definitely religious/supernatural undertones to the game what with all the souls and daemons and all that. Rather than spiritual it is digital
It certainly seems to be suggested that Misty's powers of clairvoyance and aura-reading aren't just superstition. They provide testable, verifiable predictions that just keep on being true. Add to that the AR puzzle that suggests the worlds of the Witcher and Cyberpunk are connected, as well as what Ciri says about having visited a world with "towers of glass" during her dimension-hopping, it's entirely possible that this world is one of the "spheres" of the same universe, one where magic is channeled as technomancy and ESP rather than lighting bolts and potions.
@@Cryptic0013If you actually believe in what Misty is talking about, you'd realise that what she's saying aren't premonitions or predictions, they're arcane knowledge, universally true to all people not just V. The Fool's Journey isn't just about V, it's about the human condition. I don't think she's supernatural, just very aware. She doesn't even really know what V is going through let alone which ending the player will choose but knowing what she does about the world, she can offer some insight into what those choices entail. As for the connection to the Witcher, I guess the obvious solution is that the Witcher exists as a VR game in the Cyberpunk universe. Maybe not the most interesting answer, but it fits.
You missed something very important about Alt that makes the whole 'Alt is Lilith' thing make a lot more sense. The 'Tenth circle of hell' likely refers to the Ghost City of Hong Kong, which is a refuge for AI made out of the old internet infrastructure in what was left of Hong Kong after it got wiped out by a plague. Something else of note is that everything that's crossed the Blackwall has been a human, which is why I suspect 'human blood' is needed in the Bloody Ritual. My suspicion is that there is some kind of flaw in the Blackwall which allows things connected to humanity to pass though, and the AI the ritual was meant to draw out was trying to create a bridge it could cross over through.
That is a very good theory actually. I am so curious as to what the sequel will be centered around and if it will have the concept of rouge AI’s and the blackwall take a front seat in the story.
Excellent video. Unless my memory is failing, just noticed that both Jefferson Peralez and Mr Blue Eyes repeat the exact same line of dialogue referring to "dropping out", saying they'd "take a hit" if they did.
I think that is because Bloody Ritual is only unlockable at night, but if for some reason you leave the area and come back during the day you can still play it... at least that happened to me once, but of course it's more enjoyable at night
@@villainzlover4948 Ah that would explain it, turns out it was just a weird coincidence that I've unlocked it 3 different times but only gone back to play it during the day.(again, unintentionally, it was just daytime when I managed to get around to it.) Cheers!
On Lilith: She is an AI from beyond the Blackwall, which Maelstrom ferry through the wall with the ritual. Much like there are AIs in Cynosure, if you read the terminals there. Zaria couldn't handle such an advanced AI. Our technology is too primitive for them, which is why they haven't launched an open assault yet. Alt confirms that in the Aldecaldo ending if you have obtained the Canto/Erebus. As to why Maelstrom did it, they worship chrome and AIs. Much like the VDBs, they will happily side with AIs in the war to come. I enjoyed this video, but ngl, it is a tad long. Still, good job!
Interestingly enough, the Unknown Caller who contacts V after obtaining the crafting specs for the Canto and/or Erebus knows exactly who you are and strongly insists that you craft one of the two items. Plus, you are also contacted by an Unknown Caller after you send So Mi to the Moon. UPDATE: I’m convinced that the Unknown Caller who contacts V after the Pentacles, Cups and Wands endings is the rogue AI that originally infected Songbird.
I suspected that every victim of Blackwall Breach was effectively soul killed, that the Canto/Erebus stole their minds to “learn” as the caller put it.
The only freedom Song SoMi will ever know is in death. Sending her to the moon would be the same as if V and Reed never caught up to her in the Cynosure facility in that path, the Rogue AI successfully manipulated her into permanently linking to the wall.
The words the maelstrom ganger says about the wolf mother descending from the moon and the wolf father claiming his children's names are patricide, comes from the world of darkness books for werewolves. That's the werewolf creation myth in Werewolf the Awakening. And why the pure hate the tribes.
“Carpe noctem, lamia!“ [Seize the night, vampire!] (you could translate lamia with “horrifying, child eating and/or blood sucking creature“, as well) “Decet diem exsecrari“ [It is right to curse the day] (it is right / it is appropriate)
It's a shame V didn't consider copying the files from the van in Dream On before opening any of them. Makes sense for a non-netrunner V, but a netrunner V should have known to copy the data first, get to safety, check it for malware, and THEN read it. And I definitely agree that if nothing V did or said made any difference, they wouldn't have bothered to send the threats.
Netrunner V gets screwed a lot in 2077. It's like the whole game was built assuming you were going to play a Solo, and "netrunning" was tacked on as an afterthought.
@@jaffarebellion292Really? I feel like the whole game revolves around netrunner builds. Until the balance updates in 2.0 it was the easiest way to play by a long margin. In universe, actual Net Runners don't do all that much, they're usually sitting in a chair plugged in to the net. Since V isn't in a gang and doesn't have a team to work with they're obviously going to have to be more hands on than most netrunners. Even so, there's nothing stopping V from clearing whole levels of threats before even setting foot in hostile areas on many occasions. It would have been really cool if the Net was explorable as an actual space in which Net Runners could operate and where they'd get advantages over other builds, but I can also imagine that aspect of the game seeming corny and it being difficult to integrate with the main gameplay. I think it's possibly cooler if they don't show us what a netrunner sees when they're on the net as it lets you imagine something more interesting than what could be rendered on screen. A few scenes, like when V first encounters Silverhand or the final mission give us an idea of what virtual space is like in this world, but I imagine that a netrunner sees what V sees in those scenes. I'm not sure what the player would actually do in that space other than progressing the plot and engaging in dialouge. I can imagine it devolving into a simplisitic puzzle system or a something but I don't know how well that would capture the feeling of being a netrunner. I know in universe there's a lot more to being a netrunner than quickhacks, but would the game really be better with another layer of puzzles on top of what we already have?
@SineN0mine3 In the Cyberpunk Red tabletop, you jack into the Net by finding an access point, connecting, and acting from there, both in the Net and in Meatspace. This is displayed via AR goggles, eliminating the need to create a number of new Cyberspace locations for every chunk of the game. The lack of a team to watch your back in the process just goes to help make my point. You're a Solo. You're usually going in alone, clearing the place out, and leaving. Moreover, the lack of non-combat activities hurts Netrunners especially, as many of the coolest things they can do happen without ever seeing a single bullet fly. An RPG might allow one to jack into a local subnet and find useful information hidden in encrypted files. There may be secrets there that may be sold, unlock a new quest, reveal an alternative solution to an existing quest, or be used as blackmail against an NPC. Maybe it offers a way to bypass a boss encounter or other such implementations. Look to Deus Ex for examples of that sort of thing done exceptionally well. But then, Cyberpunk 2077 is not, never was, and never will be the RPG we were promised in 2013. Regardless, Baldur's Gate 3 exists, so at least SOMEONE got a TTRPG adaptation right.
"Lilith has concealed the Tenth circle from the Ancestors eyes" Tenth Circle = Night City Ancestors Eyes = A I Lilith, who or whatever they are, has prevented the AI's beyond the Blackwall from realizing that there is a breach leading to Night City, therefore allowing access to/from the Old Net completely unmolested
Ancestors could also refer to humans. In fact, I wonder if this cult is less about AIs taking over, and more about the usual maelstrom idea of turning humans into basically AI.
1) Nomads are werewolves is reference for biotecnika illegal experiments on nomads. 2) Lilith is Alt. She is the mother of cyberdemons (iskins) 3) I believe all the kaboki heist is Alts plan. She connected with voodoo boys as an Lilith . Nightcorp and kiroshi knows about alt and wanted to use her for something. Alt(lilith) probably will be free is cyberpunk 2 she got ount of mikoshi in majority of the endings
Alt was already out of mikoshi by the time she became an AI. She says she can't break open mikoshi herself because they have ICE in place specifically for her and she doesn't want to be captured again.
Hell’s tenth circle is so funny to me cuz on one hand you’re being sent to super mega hell. But Inferno is part of a trilogy and as you descend past the 9th circle, it inverts and you arrive in purgatorio In that sense, many things in night city can be seen as a type of purgatory like mikoshi
Before watching, I know I can thank you in advance for an _hour long video!_ I have watched all your Cyberpunk theory videos, some multiple times, so this will be a real treat, thank you!
Ha! Her disappearance happened to me last playthrough and was wondering if it was a game glitch or an extension of the narrative of not being able to fully trust your eyes in this game.
This is the type of stuff alot of modern games miss the mystery the easter eggs the theories all just good fun for speculation and makes the game world feel alive
It was tough to see this game get such a negative reaction ar release. There were definitely a lot of problems then, and I'm definitely glad they're mostly fixed but the work that went in to art design, story writing and so many other areas was there from the beginning. It's a shame that due to the landscape of the market that the game didn't get as long as it deserved in development (or as much money for extra developers who could have helped finish it sooner) but people were so quick to jump on the bandwagon and trash it for being released to soon that a lot of the brilliance went unnoticed for longer than it should have. The fact that such a lot of people don't notice these things is why companies like EA and Ubisoft will never bother to include them. Reviewers and the average commenter are much more likely to latch on to criticisms about graphics, bugs or how long it takes to finish than they are to sing a games praises for including details that really matter.
One sort of important detail: Lamia doesn't just mean vampire. Lilith is sometimes considered a Hebrew translation of the demon Lamiah. So that phrase Carpe Noctum Lamia is much more direct than just vampires.
I believe it not best to dismiss the theory that the net is literal hell. It's implied to be a theory crafted by THE Spider Murphy, if she thinks the net is hell and predates humanity(an opinion shared by Bartmoss, who trashed the nets usability by people) then that would certainly track i think.
8:10 it reminds me of the conjuration insignia, as for the symbolism. It has open ended spikes on the up down left right with the conjuration tooth, can mean " conjure the old" and the corners have arrows over the spike like houses so those could mean "in with our will" so it can mean " through our sights, we conjure the old to be within our will." Or "all seeing source, out with the old and in with our conjured will" and most likely blue eyes calling card because he has been watching the entire event go down
An interesting idea. The blackwall ai is trying to get a physical incarnation via maelstrom because they need to hunt down the rogue ai that are loose in the city (Mr blue eyes) Just a thought :)
I mean...that actually does make sense. The Blackwall is an AI that was made to contain other AI's. So it would make sense that it would try to pierce into the "mortal realm" to hunt them down.
During the Dream On questline, it is possible to air dash+double-jump to where Mr Blue Eyes is. I did it a couple of times, and after standing behind him and aiming weapons at him (game does not allow you to shot him), he despawns just like Garry's assistant does... completely vanishes. I also though it could be a glitch, but now I think it is a weird coincidence both of those despawn in the same way, since no other character seems to act like that when right in front of you.
If you listen to Maximum Mike's conspiracy podcasts on Morro Rock there is one where he says a friend of his went to Romania on some business and came across a village where people were attacked and killed by werewolves. And the werewolves it turned out were some sort of genetically enhanced mutants that escaped from a nearby Biotechnica lab. We also know from shards we find around various Badlands gigs and Padre's gig where we are sent to kill Ms. Tucker Albach that Biotechnica was doing some sort of experiments on nomads in some black site in the Badlands, which resulted in a number of deaths. So Garry's ramblings about werewolf Nomads may have a solid grain of truth underneath and probably are based on whatever intel he listened in on that covered Biotechnica's genetic enhancement shenanigans.
Fun thing about Maximum Mike: it is narrated by Mike Pondsmith, the creator of cyberpunk. The stuff that he rambles on about is actual lore of the world from what I've heard. In one conspiracy he does mention that the Arasaka's are vampires, which I am honestly 50/50 considering taking in metaphoricaly or full heartedly. Werewolfs are a thing in cyberpunk, so why not throw in vampires?
@@bamcki991Maximum Mike always delivers these stories as though they're wild rumours from unreliable sources. I think the intention there is to suggest that these were real event which have been embellished as they evolved in to legends. Maximum Mike definitely believes there are Warewolves, Vampires and Aliens among us, but it could be that the truth is something even stranger.
After watching all of this, and understanding the ff 06 b5 aspect of the game, I am now somewhat terrified when Gary's follower disappears right in front of my eyes.
The only discrepancy is that her clothes vanish too. Polyhistors didn't (unless he removed them beforehand for some reason...). But yes it's eerily similar

One note about blue roses is that is one color they don't exist in. Maybe it is to test the extent of their power to alter memory? Can you remember a blue rose when they don't exist?
The 10th circle could be referring to cyberspace, a realm so deep that it puts classical evil to shame. The "ancient Antarctic" could be the 9th circle of hell as this layer is frozen in ice and not fire. The race underneath it could be the entities that dwell in the "10th" circle.
I have a theory that cyberpunk orion is going to have the don't fear the reaper ending become canon and v (who survives with the help of mr blue eyes) have to work with him (and by extension, nightcorp). It could also have lilith do a johnny move and live in someone's head
So glad I found your channel. I'm not much of a gamer, but I do play the absolute heck out of anything fallout, starfield, now cyberpunk. I'm not into games but I am into really well done games that I can lose myself in. Anyway, your channel has been of great help and interest. Thank you
@@SamBrami have another option in mind for mr.BlueEyes... what if he is a good guy? My period is in the bloody ritual when our optics got messed with was the AI Lilith trying to kill us thin and there, but not being powerful enough in the physical realm
A star walks into a black hole but doesn't seen phased. The black hole then turns to the star and says, "I don't think you understand the gravity of this situation."
Awesome video mate ! Just to add on the Zaria rewritting your optics to hide herself on the go thing, before you actually go up to the bath and start her animation of her getting out the bath you can actually see her in the area but only a second before the screen has a flicker effect and she disappears. She actaully despawn from where you saw her and reappears at a different random spawn and if you catch her again the same thing happens until you start the encounter by going to the bath. Really cool once you know
He's got a bit in common with G-man from Half-life 2 and Gaunter O'Dimm from CDPR's Witcher 3; they're all mysterious, enigmatic, and they all pop up multiple times in the game before or after your first conversation with them. Gaunter is in the background of some Hearts of Stone cutscenes for those who don't know, like disguised as a peasant or guardsman.
I hope the next game incorporates more custom backgrounds that actually affect the story hooks. Like this could have different connections and playable paths according to which corp you choose as a corpo. If you work for nightcorp you might have an idea of what is going on or even be involved yourself. Arasaka means you could work in counter-intel and know even more about it than a nightcorp life path. Idk just would add so much to the story they can tell, the variations, and how replay able and immersive those decisions would feel.
This was a great watch! I think a lot of the Ritual/NightCorp/Blackwall bit can be addressed by acknowledging that Night City as well as the story (Oftentimes the background story in this case) moves forward whether V intervenes or not, that is to say, there's a lot going on in the background that we can pick signs off, you can meet Panam talking with Nash in the Afterlife when you are going to see Dexter, for example, you can see cops recreating a cyberpsycho incident near Misty's Esoterica and the cyberpsycho looks remarkably similar to Peter Horvath (As well as the Cyberpsycho that offs Pilar in Edgerunners) and the story moves forward. From there, we could deduce that the AI's beyond the Blackwall are learning, even if they don't acquire a physical form, they need "storage" on this side of the Blackwall, Maelstrom being so into the occult, mysticism, and cyberpsychosis, as well as having a heavy cyberware load by default, may have appeared as an ideal means to "carry" an AI from the Blackwall to this side, not taking in consideration the limitations/stress of the human brain, or maybe they did which is why they picked a female Maelstromer for the Ritual and, ultimately, it did not work. If we take that in consideration, Mr. Blue Eyes being a proxy is a theory that becomes easier to accept, whether it's a high profile corpo with insane pull an influence, or his identity has been scrubbed by the AI's themselves, what's evident is that by his optics we can assume he's perpetually engaged in a data transmission of sort (Optics during a call tend to be gold tinted, and a Doll usually has their optics in a pink/lilac hue as well, blue is usually the default color when accepting or issuing a transaction). Sadly, as much as I'd love to think this is Morgan Blackhand working in cahoots with Night City after leaving Militech, I don't think that's the case. There's obviously a bunch of cut content when they went with Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand, there was a lot of going back and rewriting the plot. For instance, character creation alone changed significantly, there was an option to name a childhood hero in your character creator which makes me think that originally there would have been more than one construct we could end up with. I also don't think Alt is Alt, Cyberpunk RED motions to a different story that maybe explains the whole Alt thing as well as the damaged Johnny Silverhand engram. But speaking of growing background stories, there's mention of a Ghost City Alt builds for wandering AI as well as engrams (I presume), and when presented with a plan to raid Mikoshi, she points out that she has tried before, by using what Johnny calls "Children of the Net", this to me proves that the AI are trying different things all the time to cross over beyond just shattering the Wall. It's entirely possible NightCorp is in on it, or at the very least, it's very aware. If they struck a deal, it would make sense for the AI's to help them develop all the mind controlling projects, while in return NightCorp works on finding ways to bring AI's to this side and even using them, as some sort of symbiotic relationship. That would explain Mr. Blue Eyes' stance as well. All and all it's a fascinating topic, on one hand I hate that they left it like that, with more questions than answers, on the other hand, this only makes me hope that this plot is picked up by Orion and greatly expanded upon, and that the team takes whatever time they need to deliver a solid story.
Lilith in biblical myth was the first woman created by God as Adam’s mate. She rejected Adam and disrespected God, so she was cursed to give birth to many different monsters, demons as we think of them now, becoming their matriarch or “queen”. I think when Gary refers to Queen Lilith, he is talking about Alt, and the personae she’s collected with Soulkiller are her “unholy children”. With the one dying maelstromer’s words, what if the “ancestors” are predecessors of the rogue AI behind the black wall right now? The Old NET has been inaccessible for over 50 years by 2077, so the original AI could have propagated like a new creature on fast forward, evolving in to new iterations that have imperfect knowledge of the past. In the past editions of the rpg, netrunning was compared to high fantasy dungeon delving, and the AI and demons were monsters to fight. It may be that the maelstrom in Prophets Song were “infected” by AI and saw themselves as monsters. The Corpo seemed to call the gangers lamia (“Carpe nocturn, lamia”). 33:55 there’s another potential reference with Exotics, humans who go through extreme bodysculpting to give themselves animal features like digitigrade legs, scales, fur, or muzzles. On their own, they’re basically another group of body modders with different tastes. They sadly don’t appear in 2077. I do think the unified theory tries too hard to make one cohesive narrative. Like, the Black Wall probably represents something different to Mr. Blue Eyes than to Maelstrom, and something even more different than to Alt. I feel like there’s multiple names for the same groups or individuals depending on who speaking to whom.
Nice compilation. One thing that came in relation between Mr. Blue Eyes and Maelstrom. One speculation about Maelstrom is that they have a lot of cyberware but they don't seem to suffer from cyberpsychosis as often as one might expect it to happen. In the cyberpunk 2077 book (The World of Cyberpunk 2077) it's written they are fascinated by occult and otherworldly sensations. But I wonder whether they might be receiving some technologies from "the aliens" that allow them to stretch the limit of cyberpsychosis. im so glad u made this video. hes probably one of the most interesting characters and feels like hes always behind the scenes, even though you see him less than a handful of times throughout the game
My theory from the first time I met/saw Mr Blue Eyes is that he is actually a flesh vessel for rogue AIs that are beyong the black wall. That would explain his glowy blue eyes. Also might explain the hacker design, with the center part being a blackhole (sounds like black wall...) with all information sucked in and instructions/directions coming out.
8:06 that symbol certainly draws inspiration from the star of chaos - a real world symbol that has been adopted by anarchists and occultist; however it might just be used for its connection to the “punk” aesthetic
Was just thinking about the blue eyed men after finishing the game for the first time, and low and behold the legend Sam Bram had made a video about it. Keep up the great work man.
Nights vision for Night City sounds great and all but if it were at the cost of my own freewill Idk if I would really want it. Freewill is what makes us human. Without it we are bassicly just organic robots. I guess that's why the final part of the Peralez mission is so hard. On one hand if you don't tell him he'll never get his freewill back but in return he does end up doing a lot of good for the city. On the otherhand though if you do tell him he does get his freewill back but at the cost of being forever paranoid and most likely hurting the city and it's residents even more than it/they already are. It's these types of questions that make me love this game so much. What's the more moral option, which one will cause more harm, is it better to sacrifice one person for the off chance that it might help many more? Etc.
I love these crazy dives into even crazier theories ! I'd love to see at least some of these plots resolved in the future, but if they are, I'm pretty sure answers will be very different of what is theorised ! It's so often the case. Anyway, really nice work on this video, thx
Given that Songbird contacts V after the completion of "Killing Moon", I'd say whatever Nightcorp did to her left a consciousness intact. Yes, it could be a simulation but why would Nightcorp bother? V could have been safely left in the dark none the wiser. The individual sending the message also needed access to Songbird's memories to know where the message had been placed. While this could have been removed via hacking Songbird, again why would Nightcorp bother telling V? Instead, my guess is that Nightcorp Soulkilled Songbird and downloaded her engram either into a new body or into a proprietary private Net on the Moon. Whatever shade you want to throw on Nightcorp, they do seem to prefer a soft touch in their manipulation. They'd rather have Songbird's loyalty than force her to comply. Thus granting her the ability to contact V one last time as a reward. Always use a carrot as well as the stick in your managerial duties.
Techno necromancers are literally the same as Neomancer, In the seminal cyberpunk book Neromancer Chase (the main character) reanimates old and dead engrams of hackers, much like Johnny Silverhand is neromanced into existence in CP 2077.

An outside party wants to make sure you have one of the best katanas in Night City, a blade that has no history behind it.

@@peterchasten2790i thought it was a trauma center reference.

From the Paralez call, the caller refers to itself as "we". This sounded weird and reall resonated with on instance in Dogtown when a random homeless npc suddenly became hostile and said "we are the legion", implying a rogue AI.
When Songbird is "possessed" by rogue AI(s) during the Cynosure mission she also uses "we" to refer to herself

@@Cryptic0013 Also that witcher reference in the airport
@@Cryptic0013If you actually believe in what Misty is talking about, you'd realise that what she's saying aren't premonitions or predictions, they're arcane knowledge, universally true to all people not just V.

@@Cryptic0013 I don't think Misty has supernatural powers; just immense wisdom for her age.
Whoa
maybe, to AI to cross the blackwall, they need a "human soul" (or engram). that would be one of the motives for Alt to break mikoshi.
Might go toward explaining the biological experiments going on on the moon, trying to create an organic host gateway for AIs to use
What’s the easiest way to stop AI from passing through the wall but allow netwatch through? Make it to where only living things can cross.

I believe the lilith AI is Alt, when you first meet her she asks you do you think shes a demon sarcastically.
In regards to Netwatch propaganda, yes. Could be.
36:25 "Carpe noctem, lamia! Decet diem excecrari." are the lyrics from the musical Dance of the Vampires

Just a thought :)

@@SamBramhe got teleported into the witcher allegedly, so maybe it's some completely different thread than being wiped from optics
I haven't ever been able to trigger this
You are still the defining CP77 TH-camr and content creator - I still come back and watch your awesome vids even though I've not hopped onto CP77 in a minute. Once again thank you so much choom!
Legit starting reading The Divine Comedy today… scary how the universe works sometimes. The comparisons between it and the game are awesome! Great work choomba.
Every time I got ready to type out a "ahh, but there's more..." comment, you covered what I was about to type, lol. Absolutely love that you made a video on one of my favorite rabbit holes in the game and did the diligent research neccessary to show how compelling this entirely missable conspiracy is. My man.
i feel like i've been asking for a deep dive into the Peralez's missions for ages now, and this is even better!! great work!!
I've been waiting for a proper Mr Blue Eyes breakdown video for ages, thanks Sam
YES, finally. I've been waiting for your take on this. Thank you as always
Thank you Sam! This was A TON of work! Can’t wait for Alt for 1h !
HELL YES! It's here! Thank you Sam for this mega video!
I have a theory that cyberpunk orion is going to have the don't fear the reaper ending become canon and v (who survives with the help of mr blue eyes) have to work with him (and by extension, nightcorp). It could also have lilith do a johnny move and live in someone's head
I played all those missions and definitly felt something was missing, never picked up on this through line. So cool!
Thanks for putting it together.
Thank you for all your work this is The only cyberpunk channel you will ever need when you play cyberpunk 2077.
So glad I found your channel. I'm not much of a gamer, but I do play the absolute heck out of anything fallout, starfield, now cyberpunk. I'm not into games but I am into really well done games that I can lose myself in. Anyway, your channel has been of great help and interest.
Thank you
You continue to look into us, good on you. However, you may not find the answers you're looking for once they are found.
Who is Mr Blue Eyes!? Is he working for you? TELL ME!!!
“Not actually apart of cyberpunk lore. Just a fan.” My ass lol
*Carpe Noctem, Lamia. Decent Diem Excecrari - Seize the Night.* Project Oracle Command, Execute Plans.
@@SamBrami have another option in mind for mr.BlueEyes... what if he is a good guy? Helping Songbird escape Myers and therefore stopping her interactions with the black wall and not giving Myers that power. He also appears during the Peralez conversation but there is no actual mention of why he is there. Maybe he wants to observe the situation and V. He is in a very visible position also..
My period is in the bloody ritual when our optics got messed with was the AI Lilith trying to kill us thin and there, but not being powerful enough in the physical realm
You should do a full cp2077 iceberg type video. This felt kinda like that and that kind of video would be super fun to watch! Great video btw!
Well, well! Sam with a sponsorship now? HUGE congrats, choom.
Thanks for this mammoth video, you help bring this amazing game to life!
I look forward to more conspiracies after project Orion gets released. (project orion is the project code of CDPR next cyberpunk game).
Buddy I don't know why you think nobody wants an hour-long vid from you. We do, stop thinking we don't. ❤
Brilliant work Sam, that’s is just top quality Cyberpunk content 👌🏼
I have been waiting for this since 100k. Nice
I hope they bring back Somi possessed by "Lilith" as the or at least a antagonist in the next game..
I really believe that the Garry quest was supposed to be a teaser for one of the two planned dlcs, especially considering the unfinished vampire caves in the badlands
im so glad u made this video. hes probably one of the most interesting characters and feels like hes always behind the scenes, even though you see him less than a handful of times throughout the game
really appreciating the effort you put into your videos!
Congrats on 100k my dude! I recommend yours and WiseFish's videos to those who want a deeper dive into the Cyberpunk lore
Always waiting for a new video!
I have been waiting for soooooo long for this
I feel like if we get a cyberpunk 2 this is gonna be the plotline, who wouldn't love a "Manchurian candidate dystopian" story line? that's top tier
Got my snacks and cyberpunk on
Okay i'm ready for a new theory by Sam 😂

8:06 that symbol certainly draws inspiration from the star of chaos - a real world symbol that has been adopted by anarchists and occultist; however it might just be used for its connection to the “punk” aesthetic
The best cyberpunk youtuber love you videos choom
Was just thinking about the blue eyed men after finishing the game for the first time, and low and behold the legend Sam Bram had made a video about it. Keep up the great work man.
I think Mr. Blue Eyes is really Sam Bram or Sam Bram is really Mr. Blue Eyes.🤔😲
You are the absolute man for doing videos like this. Much appreciated
Etc.
In regards to free will... watch Robert Sapolsky, very interesting!
@@MiS_4n_THr0_pic_NiH_il.i5t I'll check him out.
I love these videos you make. I learn so much and it just brings me into this games universe more every time. Thank you, good sir, for all of it 🙏🏼
Techno necromancers are literally the same as Neomancer, In the seminal cyberpunk book Neromancer Chase (the main character) reanimates old and dead engrams of hackers, much like Johnny Silverhand is neromanced into existence in CP 2077.
A video 1 hour of Sam Bram yapping about an unknown theory, oh boy its gonna be a banger 😂 Love the video already even tho I havent watch yet
0:17 H O L Y S H I T he's doing the Gman.
What if Carpe Noctem meaning seize the night refers to night city and directly refers to them trying to take over the city
Hoping whatever ever Cyberpunk we get next.... I hoping bigger lean into the corpo side then the nomad one. Want to explore/own more futuristic mega-mansions.... then the 3 we got to explore in Cyberpunk 1. Aka looking at GTA 5 as a reference.
37:43 I think "seize the night" could be taking over Night Corp, as the "experiments" were not Night Corp on its own employees, but a faction within night corp that is taking it over (from Richard Nights wife?)
