@@tegarsatriyo486 Honestly, I never thought Kvyat should have been promoted ahead of Vergne after 2014, as he got beaten convincingly. Pero Verstappen has been given too much priority is what I’m saying. Dumping Vergne from Toro Rosso to get him in - undeserved, Vergne did not need to be sacked. Refusing to give Ricciardo equal status in contract was a huge cock-up by Red Bull because it favoured Verstappen and Ricciardo was never going to agree to #2 status. Sacking Sainz has now given Red Bull problems they didn’t need.
@@RBenjo21 They didn't sack Sainz. Carlos was the one who pushed to be loaned out to Renault. They didn't want to but he fought for it. Before Max renegotiated his contract to extend this last season, Ric was making MORE so I don't see how you can say he didn't have equal status. As for Vergne, I won't disagree. But a team is going to go with who they think has the best future prospect. It may have seemed like a gamble in the beginning. But it worked. In 3 seasons at Toro Rosso, JEV scored 51 points. Flavio simply favored Alonso for commercial reasons, and realized Jarno was too good, so heused any excuse to replace him with a lesser driver.
That's the truth.
You forget to say that Kubica secure 3rd place after started from 6th on the grid in his 3rd race.
Recommended to me hours before Red Bull swaps out Albon in response to his performance at the 2020 Eifel GP.
Luca Badoer with 50 starts with no points holds the record 😂
PS. He would score 26 points if the new 2010 points system was applied in the 90s but only the top 6 were awarded points in his years so he's got the record with the most starts with no points 😂
Kvyat has been unlucky I feel. Strong 2019/2020 seasons at least showed his potential
Kubica became BMW Sauber driver after Villeneuve crash in Germany. Jacques had some minor injuries but BMW decided to pick Robert for nxt race. Then Kubica replaced him for Hungary and was so well that he stayed
vettel became reserve as well
Kvyat wasn't dropped at the end of that season, he was dropped right before the ending in 2017
They mean that red bull demoted kvyat and replaced him with max
awaiting some groundbreaking switch: Kubica for Hamilton in Mercedes and Hamilton for Kubica in Williams. Bring it ON F1!!! What's the worst that can happen?

lol come on, how is Schumacher for Gachot not on the list?
Not only did it bring one of the best F1 drivers of all time into the sport, but the Gachot road rage story is legendary!
Best switch Andretti/Hakkinen
I'm surprised that there was no mention of Scott Speed being replaced at Toro Rosso by a young Sebastian Vettel in the middle of the 2007 season.
I love how topical and quick on the draw these are, this channel is amazing
To be fair they probably knew Gasly was gonna get the sack long before the announcement , so made this video beforehand
Lol no way
Jan mag was done wrong. The 2 cars where very different. Jan was only given their old and dated chassis. Cant remember the persons name, but a person with significant relevance in f1 once looked at the 2 cars in pit and just straight up Said "you can Even see the difference between the two just by looking" (not the exact words)

Feel free to comment if im wrong or if i forgot something from the book. :)
Getting Kvyat demoted in favour of Max was one of the best decisions Red Bull's ever made
Indeed, but i feel bad for kvyat, he beat ricciardo in 2015, he wasn't a bad driver after all. With albon going to red bull, I hope Kvyat can secure ferrari seat after vettel's contract expire, there's no promising young driver at the time in f2
And they might repeat the success by demoting Gasly in favor of Albon...

@@tegarsatriyo486 Honestly, I never thought Kvyat should have been promoted ahead of Vergne after 2014, as he got beaten convincingly. Either way, whoever got promoted would end up making room for Verstappen. As for Kvyat's future I see him as someone capable of being a solid midfielder (like Hulk or Perez), I don't really think he'll get back into top equipment as he's got a lot of competition from young up and coming drivers
@@tegarsatriyo486 Kvyat also has great potential in his own just like verstappen but he was treated unfair at that time by red bull team.. So it's inevitable that if bottas still in Mercedes, kvyat will be verstappen teammate in RBR next season.
Kvyat did NOT have a bad start to 2016. He scored the teams first podium at China. Red Bull sacked him after just 1 bad day for Max. I am amazed he went back there. Marko treated him horribly.
Yes. It is happened that way but thats the life.. Sometimes it depends on luck even after you have worked so hard to achieve the job you cover but in fact the employer seems to neglect you that way and didn't respond to your hidden possessed skill just what Marko did with kvyat of only two mistake but better capacity than Ricciardo somehow in his rookie season with redbull
I will never forgive Lotus and Renault for sacking Heidfeld like that😠
heidfeld was super underrated. He was the original hulk/checo. deserved a top seat
"what a stupid move!" - alonso french gp 2018 to the heidfeld move
Heidfeld and Trulli replacements were some really stupid ones
5:51-he was dropped the season after*
Would’ve expected Roberto Moreno being dropped for Michael Schumacher to be on this list. It was that change which led to the creation of the F1 Contracts Recognition Board (CRB) after all.

I always liked Heidfeld and was gutted when Renault dropped him - the worst bit is that I still don't really know why
Its not so much Kyvat being dropped from RB but then from Toro Rosso, that was the head scratcher for me

“You know, you never know.”
Huh?
I didn't know Sainz was waiting in the wings for Red Bull in 2016! I think if he was racing for Red Bull now, he would've impressed the team and the media! I'm just glad he's found a spot with McLaren and is comfortable there with his teammate Norris:)

It’s *a* horrific.
It's old English, when words like horrific and historic were pronounced without the h.

Aww! Seeing Kubica breaks my heart. Really hope he can race somewhere where he has a shot.
Silly move to drop Kvyat. He took a podium in China at the previous race. Red Bull wanted an excuse to get Verstappen in.
Pero Well in the long run I’m right. Verstappen has haemorrhaged all Red Bull’s drivers.
How do you know what Red Bull was going to offer Ric with his latest contract? Last I checked that wasn't public information. Max scored 49 in just his 1st season.
Roxanne Lyson Red Bull had an option on Sainz for the main team for 2019. But allegedly Verstappen vetoed him.
@@RBenjo21 That word allegedly tells me it was just rumor mill gossip. I like facts. It's a fact that Carlos Sainz was the one who pushed for the Renault deal. When you can show me something other than social media garbage, I'll listen to what you have to say.

I wonder why Schumacher and Moreno switch in 1991 is not on this list.
Not only sudden but also dramatic.

Gasly for Albon?
Ralph Firman to 🇭🇺Zsolt Baumgartner🇭🇺?
In my mind, you guys are just joking, because there's no way you didn't notice
Yeah ikr, I could not believe the Scott Speed - Vettel switch Toro Rosso made in 2007 😱😱
Luca Badoer qualified last in Valencia and Spa in a Ferrari? Now that's some achievement. Yes I know the 2009 Ferrari underperformed, but Kimi won at Spa in the same car. Also at 0:28 he bumped into the back of the Force India in Parc Ferme! Talk about embarrassing. People thought Gasly was bad, but this is a whole new level.
"When Felipe Massa suffered AN horrific head injury," great grammar, bud.
Jose verstappen in 1998 pit lane it was just brutal
Kvyat deserved more.
I find it funny how twice in 2019 Verstappen stood on the podium as the victor in 2 races and two of his former teammates were with him.
