Hey Marisa! Your video is very helpful! Do you know if the meal plan balance can be carried forward to the upper years? Do I have to spend a certain minimum amount in year 1?
hi! i’m thinking of going to western for medical sciences and applying to OHall for res! do you know how far it would be from the science buildings/where you would typically have your lectures?
Hi, i’m planning on doing residence at western this fall but the only thing stopping me is the diversity. do you find that the environment has a lot of diversity?
really good Q! i think there is if you look for it/are in the right mindset. overall ofc, it is mostly white but you can always find your cubits through clubs and events as well! the caf does a good job of at least recognizing some major cultural events
hi marisa! i have a question about res lottery, is the roommate option randomized in the lottery as well or do you get to pick whether or not you have a roommate aside of the residence lottery?
the single or double room is along with the randomization i think! but if you apply w a roommate your chances of a double together are better i think! not 100% but u can email residence advisors!
I’m gonna live on res at western and I wanna do Ontario Hall . My avg is a 94 but my roommates is an 87, will this affect our chances of getting into O-hall
@@MarisaWong also, another quick question, I know if you have a 95 average you can receive your top 3 guaranteed, if your below like at a 91,92 are still just in general lottery? Your video helped me so much!!!

whatever you don’t use gets turned into equivalent flex dollars which u can use at locations across campus!
hi marisa, I love ur video, they're extremely helpful! do u think ppl have a higher chance of getting the res they want if they apply to an llc?

love the video! do you think the res experience at western was worth it during covid?
i know a couple people who were in rez this past year and i think they still had fun! i think i’ll always recommended rez if you can afford it!

i don’t think so! random lottery i think
When do residence applications open typically?
if they’re not open now they should be pretty soon!
If you get your offer in may, does that affect which resident you get?
it shouldn’t!

yep generally lottery if you don’t make that cut out!
I got placed in essex even though my first choice was saugeen. How is it 🥲
essex is underrated! my year it was the eng floor and they had crazy parties. definitely different than saugs but still fun!
