I'd argue that it's not realistic at all and it what makes online so frustrating.
Passing is bad. Lofted balls are too slow with not much weight. Through balls get played far too often into the defenders path instead of actual space.
Defenders are unrealistic, hyper aware and can anticipate everything. Interceptions are not based on physics. Ball gets controlled better and quicker than an attacker trapping the ball. They can turn on a dime regardless of their height, weight and centre of gravity. Need more animations to make inertia actually a proper thing. Attackers have more inertia than them causing an unbalanced game.
Stamina needs tempering. Low stamina animations are so needed it will help with the relentless pressing you get online.
I would argue that the game needs a bit more simulation online to stop players abusing the bad mechanics in the game by making those mechanics less powerful and more physics based.
Spot on - the lack of simulation is what's the hurting the game, not too much of it.

biggest problems with lofted balls other than being way to slow, they players also take 3 seconds to control and sprint...
Exactly bro. This game at the moment is rubbish and unrealistic.
The passing is so bad that you cannot play out of their relentless press.
Everyone in division 1 is sitting on a server. Imagine a map around a server, all the division 1 would be spread out around the server and the further away from the server the lower the division is going to be, connection advantage is everything in this game.
That's why everyone just spam pass tru, no one uses skills, dribbles or runs with the ball, only thru balls and long balls and pray for that connection advantage.
It feels like playing ping pong online.

Playing against 104-106 rated players in all positions is breaking the game. They teleport through your players. They have 102 stats. The games just a ping pong assisted nonsense. I have zero fun online. In our Discord league we play 75-85 rated players, max PA3, no Meta tactics, and exploits are banned. Its fun, although the stamina drains far to fast.

For me the big problems are the meta tactics, irl, there is alot of tactics, each one has strength and weakness, and the term "op invincible tactic" Doesnt exist, but in efootball If you have to win, you are forced to play with the boring 433 counter attack tactic, which removes the fun, and makes the game easier, you dont have to think of changing your formation inside the match to a 352 or 451 to find the solution and counter your opponent like in real life
When playing the game on a lower difficulty like top player or professional the game feels more realistic but on superstar and legend the ridiculous scripting starts to kick in. The AI start to skate into position, win 90% of aerial balls, block ever shot, intercept every pass, impossible to outrun, win every physical duel.
Your players start to play bad, they constantly run out of defensive possession, stop running when attacking and pause after losing the ball. Konami's logic is making the AI cheat and your players play bad is what a harder difficulty is 😂
I dont think I am a bad player, but I even struggle against the ai on professional. Superstar and above is just something I wont bother with anymore.
Last year I was playing on Legend and won 8/10. This year I play on Superstar and the win rate is 50/50.
i play on top player . id like it a bit more difficult but after top player the game makes no sense it slows my players and passes and its just not fun to play . its not football so i top player it is after that no sense at all
It's been the same for years for PES. The highest AI difficulty has advantage on fouls, for example you can barely touch them and it's a foul whereas they can shoulder tackle you and the referee says no foul.
Since Konami launched that Fifa tournament, online gameplay has it's problem. Many users complained about the Lag issues and server issues.
Whenever they conduct online tournaments they allocate server space exclusively, that's how bugs come in.
I haven't played online since they launched that Fifa tournament.
I don't know how it feels now. But offline is superb. 💥

This is why I gave up online years ago. Bring back the ladder for those who remember it

I've has to come away from it after years of playing ISS and PES. I agree completely about trying to make it too realistic online which ends up making it a mess. Im hoping GOALS get it right for online and we get master league back offline.
There's DDA for Damia Granero squads versus high level squads, where as high level every single shot you have is turned into complete nonsense until extra time, where you score 3 goals... There's unbearable lag that causes 95% of all other issues. Trying to find a consistent tactic feels impossible as it might work for 4 games, then becomes the worst tactic you've ever used for 10 games.. and you have to repeat the cycle, mainly because of the first points I mentioned! -- just play the 'Magic Roundabout' music in your head, they should add that as the only music track.
The lack of meaningful communication from eFootball/Konami about anything useful in regards to gameplay or stats, or even plans, is dire, so so bad. Speculation and conjecture runs riot.
I've never been close to being beaten by a Damia Granero squad but may have to try that!

Ngl I'm getting board of pes 21 on pc. I wish someone could make a classic patch. I wanta relive older seasons instead of waiting every year for more of the players I grew up watching to retire. This new efootball game never had me expecting anything. Football games are soon gonna be a lost cause if not already 😢
It's feels like playing two different games once you get a good match with good response and very good control and next time to match it's back to square one

This "game" is over 3 years old, its never been good. If there was a good alternative, efootball would be dead a long time ago.

I've been recently playing PES 19 with HANO patch for the current season. Had to close like 200 pop-ups to download it 😂
but I'm really enjoying the gameplay. Much more smoother than PES 21.
Damn, I've tried, honestly, last couple weeks to play this game. And it's just not enjoyable in any mode. Against AI it's just boring. No matter what difficultty level it's still boring. In online it's even more pathetic. And unpredictable. One game you can play fine, even interesting. But next 5 you gonna suffer because players unresponsive, all passes going anywhere but not in derection you meant or opponent gonna intercept all of them. You defenders gonna ignore ball in inches from them and your keeper let in every shot even from kilometers away. I've climbed to 4th division at PC and I just can't anymore. It's so stressing that I deleted it again and won't install it ever. Fifa is piece of shit too, so football sims just not exist anymore.

Offline is definitely the best version of the game. And I'd say MyLeague is where it's at it's best. Likely because it's an actual mode, with variety in weather, stadiums, day time matches etc etc. The goalkeeper being glued to the goal line however is something that prevents me from playing offline. It's a game breaker for me, so I play online for now. Agree with you on there needing to be 2 different versions to a degree. But there's also a lot that could improve in both on and offline in terms of gameplay. The freezing & lack of awareness is still present & seems to fluctuate with each new version. Super cancel works when the game allows & the aerial game is still really prehistoric. Like not being able to actually choose between a volley or a header is a madness in 2024. I do think they're headed in the right direction for once but the game is calling out for a smack of next gen. Especially visually. Not having an edit mode for even customising your Dream Team is crazy at this point. I wouldn't mind if they added a deep edit mode behind a pay wall at this point. Coins for stadoum features, turf, kits, nets, balls etc etc.. Something new so every match doesn't feel the exact same as the last, at least on the eye. But hey, this is Konami we're talking about. 😂
@@Galfano10Gaming Totally agree with all your points. I feel like the control is being taken away from the player. If you went back and played pes 2017/18, it's like total freedom. If you go back to ISS, kids today wouldn't cope. You actually had to guide your player to the ball, none of this automatic run to the ball nonsense.
@@SpoonyPizzas Yep. And it's getting worse. The automation is so crazy I often find myself barking at my screen "there is literally no skill gap in this game" 😂 I must look mental. But yeah, I've an arcade machine full of old school footy games. I often dip in and the very first thing u notice gameplay wise is how there is absolutely zero hand holding. Kids would be shook! 💯
If you want one tip for the online play: don't play online.
I hurts me to say it but FC 25 is way way better than the crap Efootball is putting out
I managed to win the league on legendary difficulty with 98 points or thereabouts after trying 3 times (and of course after winning on SuperStar difficulty). Since then my excitement about the game took a nosedive: almost zero interest. I now occasionally play 2-3 exhibition matches against Liverpool in legend difficulty since I find them the most difficult to beat. Offline is zero fun! Online requires good internet connection which I do not have consistently. So I don't bother to play online. The players in division 1 are not necessarily the best in playing the game. They just happen to have boosted players with a better internet connection. Note that as an efootball player, I don't have a single idea how to pull off skill moves in the game, not even the double touch. While the skill moves might give you a tiny edge, they are not absolutely necessary to be the best at the game. The key thing is to not allow the AI player come too close to you, be patient and you will see yourself thrashing legend AI 7-0. This was one of my results against Man City when I won the league.

My conclusion is that guys stop playing or spending money on this garbage 🗑 , when u do it will force Konami to make proper changes that will make the game enjoyable + fun or even bring back pess.
The fact the "French " team guy was not playing and you still could not score says all that is wrong with the game and the Ai total domination that is killing this game

6:50 - This guy did the only smart and reasonable thing someone can do, when you play Golden Goal matches. This time, though, I didn't bother myself with it, because for me there's no point to grind more than 50 matches on the Pass: this Chiesa looks pointless and weaker than the Juventus versions 😒
State of online gameplay is just sad,offline content is poor.... Pro Evolution Soccer was a serious and respectable brand but unfortunately it doesn't exist anymore. Miss the old days, this game doesn't deserve to be played at all. I don't understand the people who invest the time and money, especially the developers who pay them back with this update... and next one...
Best way to enjoy this game. My league in a league you enjoy, get players that are untrained, don't train them and keep that at base levels. Play on Top Player or what suits. But anything above that kicks assist on button. So many fun opportunities get taken away because the assist makes the AI too boosted.
On Top Player they make mistakes, rebounds and fun 50/50's.

The concept of the game as a whole is ridiculous. First, they put out epic cards every week. Then, players buy coins to get those epics. When they play online, the game becomes scripted to make sure the match is balanced. What's the point of having good players then?. To make things worse, in division matches you can actually see the skill gap between the two players but the chances of the better player winning is still 50/50. So, what's the point of having division then? What's the point of any tournament?. I really don't understand the purpose of this game as a whole. It's not competitive and it's not even fun😅

Don’t get me wrong. I like this game but Konami has fucked it over in a burlap sack and left it sobbing in the road in the rain. They’ve released the mobile game and have gutted what everyone wanted such as a Master League. A proper one and not what they have in the game. 2K games would probably be wise to try and poach the PES team and ask them to develop the new FIFA game.
Man online is becoming the worst, the last two weeks I’ve been playing offline and it’s really fun I felt like I was playing pes 13 enjoying my life you know cause this online games are just awful and there’s a lot of people tired of the game and only plays online to troll or hate not to have a good fun time, it’s really sad.
So whats the conclusion, is it time to move from pes 2021?

on online i lose more penalties than i score so i decided every time i miss the pen i quit the match . make it make sense or im out
@@houseofblues9016 haha damn. Don't put too much power. 50% to make it harder to save. Go left three times then right and then left. Use this sequence works for me and when it comes to saving, keep diving left. You'll save one that you need

Efootball is very suitable to be played on mobile, if you are on a console you should play EA FC
I quite like the online game, don’t really see much issue with it
Offline is fine and enjoyable, online is terrible worst gameplay we’ve had in efootball, currently on a 20 game loosing streak since got to div 3, where normally always get to div 1. There’s no lag as such but immense delay

There seems to be far too much game balancing online and games become sweatfests. Far too many players try to exploit the games flaws and keep passing aimlessly forward waiting to manipulate the system. Theres no point having top players at times as they can become unusable

Spoony man, I really love your content and your way. Still sometimes I think you are a football romantic, just as I am. I am also not sure if the online gameplay is responsible for what you are describing. It is the people, the will play meta and use every exploit like kick off or corner glitch. Most will make use auf pass assist one and pass balls in like 90 or 180 degree angles with their backs to the receiver, like if every player had one touch pass. Or the exploit the give and go (RB+A) as it f*cks up the AI. It is what is is
That's precisely what I'm talking about mate. I am a football romantic. I need a football game in my life for sure haha. But yes, the heavy metal, pressing, putting so many attackers centrally to confuse defences with different playstyles. It's horrible along with the input lag.
@@SpoonyPizzas A game best suited for lads like us would be football manager that allows you to play yourself as well, there was one a decade ago that worked with Fifa.
At the end it just depends how much you let this all get to you. I have started to play like 3133 online and enjoying a lot as my MF players score and assist more often. Most people will play 4213 or 523 or such. Keep the strikers on stay forward and repeat their pattern until the score. Most games are boring, but still some how statisfiying if you score a nice goal or beat the those game mechanic abusers. Hate the people, not the game

Not played it in a long time, what offline modes does eFootball even have? Also going by what you say about folk just spamming sprint it might be a good idea if online was a more arcade approach maybe just make it a 5 a side game?

The servers are bad, every update only shows new cards (konami milking machine) but the gameplay never improves., and lastly... konami really really hates steam users..😁
They should tone down the script by 30%. It’s okay to miss 4 out of 12 shots. It’s not okay to loose 1-2 0-1 with a shot ratio 12-3 15-5.

Why learn game mechanics and improve? If you limit my chances , so that people won’t quit the game .trough passes must be reworked, 90% of them don’t go into space even when you have 10 meters space . Referee don’t give red cards if enemy is dumb and already has one.
Shoulder charge it’s 90% of time fault..
Another thing, nerf attackers interception. A griezman , Messi shouldn’t have 80% interception like a dmf lol.
Recode the game , make people that go 5 upfront loose hard, punish them , don’t make the game a sa fest.
Otherwise still fun sometimes.
About people investing in teams, this I don’t agree . If players won’t buy cards , most people wouldn’t play this game , it gets shutdown . Problem is konami doesn’t invest to improve it at alll
I've permanently moved to EA FC25 career mode with Lambzys sliders.

I’ve been enjoying the game the last few weeks. Made it to Div2 by playing possession/tiki-taka. The game is ruined by the try hards that just play long ball counter and park the bus, that takes zero skill.
That’s a game issue not player issue playing top 3 meta tactics.
Also, people whine about rattle tactics but most of them even if they try same tactics won’t reach div1.
Game has many flaws , but beside script, skills still matters atleast 1/2games
I used to get to the divison 2 easily, from time to time I used to manage to advance to division one. Although after the major update I feel like I have to put a lot of effort to score goals whereas my opponents are just playing a through pass on the wings and they score easily. Currently I am not far from the divisio 2 although its been my worst run since 2 years or so.
Hi, can I ask why do you use ‘super cancel’ in the middle game ? I know its cancel all the commands, but how to use in game, and what its make ? Thx!
Well I have been with efootball since it became rebranded as efootball and I am considering stopping playing now. Offline seems to be more responsive and plays smoother on old gen console, but its got to the point of using low rated players and playing to earn experience points to upgrade them to make it more interesting, as its got repetitive and boring. Online is just slower and less responsive, and you can always count on coming up against players who clearly are pay to win based on the players they have. Its a huge mess of a game to the point of them rewarding players with efootball points to use practically nowhere in the game. They don’t release players consistently to buy with efootball points and expiring points get spent on experience points packs, as if we need more of them! Such a waste. Perhaps they should reward gold coins instead like 500 gold coins instead of the 500 efootball points that then would have some use in game. Really dont know what they are doing with the game but seems like its time for a long break…
I think they should have PvP matches but with the authentic teams - would be much more fun than the current state of online matches (no money in it for coinami tho)

It's incredible how pes2021 still looks better than this. Let's not even mention gameplay. Every now and then, I open one of your videos to see if this eGarbage has reached a decent level to be played, but I'm disappointed every time.
Locking formation to predefined one is a way to go. It would give as a much more ralistic game. Yes, there is a lag, it is much nore noticeable when playing Fuma and having such a long time delay when shooting or making a long pass balls. Offline? It is a different game...

Yesterday I was playing a match online, I needed just 1 win to go up to 3d division, with 2 matches left. In this game, we're 0-0 and I notice my defenders are way too high on the pitch, so I switch to defensive, my opponent did too. And yet my defenders are still way up on midfield, so I sense the game is setting me up for a counterattack from my opponent. This became clear when I win a corner, Im still playing defensive, and notice I have 6 DAMN PLAYERS on the box and only 3 defenders on midfield. I switch to ultradefensive and STILL nobody from my team goes back. And I don't have any defenders set to attack, so why the hell if im playing ultradefensive is my whole team still on the damn box. Game tryna set me up. Anyways I just started to clear the ball, cause I know if I try to pass it Im gonna get countered. Draw 0-0 , next and last game I get a pay 2 win opponent from division 5, my forwards magically keep missing clear chances, I know Im gonna lose, and I did. Me no go to division 3. Same as always when youre just about to go up 😂
FC25 with anth’s gameplay and FL25 are all I play now

Too many unneccessary runs, playesr run hapazadly and always taking heavy touches....I can't do power shots anymore what am I missing, I just downloaded the game :)

I did spend too much on this game but bcs buying players I want is a gamble. Truth is I like the cards and their designs, besides player stats, but yeah, not worth so much money.
Like any other modern game, online is all about spamming meta and getting away with it and I suspect this game is no different.
In a golden goal situation in a short match you'll probably get away with letting skill shine through, but in a normal exhibition on normal rules, I just get the impression that you'd see more oddities going on with the gameplay.
The AI is designed to encourage P2W, so no doubt you will lose some matches on meta, but overall your win percentage should still be in your favour.
It's whether you take those annoying losses personally or not enough to stop playing the game; same with FC 25.
