Ciao everyone! Today I'm shopping my wardrobe for Italian style outfits! Learning to shop your closet is so beneficial for capsule closets, minimalist wardrobes and shopping less. I hope you like these looks - let me know if you think they are a hit or a miss!

I like the bomber with the floofy skirt better. The shine of the bomber makes the floofy skirt more playful
Umm, LOVE the bomber with that skirt. It works as a kind of tonal scheme with the skirt, matches the texture of the shoes, and I think it is a mix of styles as well - a more masculine jacket with a fun, feminine skirt. Love the creativity and the play here!
I like all the looks but I definitely prefer the skirt with the bomber jacket! I loooove the skirt and the jacket, such good pieces.

There's an art & science to Fashion. The former might contain a bit of 🪄 magic, but there is plenty of room for us to sharpen our eyes👀 & skills. That's why it helps when you not only think out loud about different options, but you articulate how one item may serve better over another.
👩💼Appreciate the fact you give two alternatives. The comparison helps train us, esp. when seen side by side. It allows room for our own personal preferences to come into play too👍.
🙋♀️ I am typically a doubting Debbie @ the start, but you manage to 🎉win🎉 me over almost every time. All your outfits turn out lovely, but usually one look will vibe with me more than the other. 🤦♀️That's saying a lot for someone who is 🚫 a big risk taker, and also has some pretty rigid ideas of what I'll wear.
Like that you encourage us to try 🆕 combinations & 🤔 think outside the box📦 in terms of how some garment might've been originally intended. Thankful that in the end, you also give us permission to be true to our own instincts & style.

Loving the Italian style. I'm glad you have a new purse. Purses are my jam. I over compensate with them because I have trouble finding shoes for my long feet.
Loved the leather belt added to the white shirt!!! And both of the looks with the floofy skirt! I had to laugh because I have nothing even remotely floofy, but it was fun seeing how both those looks did well with a white skirt, which I do have!
The last look with the tapestry bomber was so beautiful! My favorite look today!
I would have liked to have seen the red bag with the cross body style- but all look fabulous!
Loved the 1st combo. You can also wear the red bag around the waist with a belt; it'd look interesting. The last inspiration; I think you have a beige suit that reminds me of those pants.

With look number 1, I prefer the red bag. Granted, I am a RED lover through and through, so my eyes always go to it.

Love the red bag in all the looks! For last look, I prefer the bomber jacket with the skirt. It makes you taller and leaner. Same thing with the nude shoes and black skirt. Really enjoyed the video - but the bomber jacket is beautiful - and goes so well with the skirt - so although I am not sure it reflects the Italian blogger's look as well - it is the winner for me.

I need to invest in a whole new wardrobe, and would love to know how many pieces are the working minimum to create a sustainable, reusable, all season selection.
wow you have impressed me with that first look. it was so unique in the photo I couldn't see how you were going to pull it off, but you not only nailed it, you got me thinking about how I could pull off something similar even though it was not on my radar until 2 minutes ago :) Although the red bag is gorgeous I really dig the slouchy bag and how it plays with the scarf colours too.
I love this! While my first inclination was to go out and buy that pink blazer, you made me THINK about what made the look and what might be in my closet....While I’m not always sure while you are putting it together, it’s magic at the end. 😍

Me too. Alyssa’s thoughts behind the look opens up more options, for me, as well.
It's amazing how different becomes the silhouette with different bags! According to me the bag color is fundamental because it changes the color ratio - the white bag makes the outlook basically monochromatic with a little pop of red and the red bag makes it basically contrasting, very bold and powerful. I believe there is no right or better here but what effect we want - more gentle or more bold.
I could not have worded this better. It was exactly what I was thinking. 😃 💜💙
Fringes are back on the runway!!
Looking at outfit 3 reminded me of Jenna Lyons and her amazing style where she combines very casual (denim or kharki shirts) with a frothy or sequinned skirt. Or reverses it and pairs a fancy top with kharki chinos or denim on the bottom. Such an inspiration for me.
I like the red bag in the first look and the champagne shoe in the second look. Love the pop of red in the last look.
Great looks, the 3rd with the print bomber is my favorite 😍 and the chilling cat 😻

The first one I plan to do this week. It is very classy artistic. Another one I will try as well: I want to try my muted pink net midi ballet type skirt with my muted pink “leather” baseball cap, for the same tonal color and different style look.

I loved the fluffy skirt + silk jacket look the most, because I naturally tend toward what would work with my own features and complexion. Thanks for the inspiration and the deconstruction of the looks! It is fascinating to watch! While watching I had an idea of using a scarf as a belt for the second look, and then ta-da, you pulled a tie black belt. :) So much fun!

LOVE the bomber jacket + skirt - they create such a harmonious look since they're both so light, yet the dark details in the bomber pick up your dark hair. The red is fun, too, especially if you don't want too seem too "fancy." Great work!
