@@TheebX92 if you try to troll at least do it well, Petra won her second Wimbledon in 2014 ;-) only lost to Osaka in AO finals this year in a super tight match
The worst performance by Simona hard to recall in recent memory! Her shots land short, no angle, nothing on it, by which to win is a remote wish unfortunately. Very unusual. Vondrousova was gifted a fantastic win!
if the youngster, vondruskova said she was out of breadth, i wonder what simo thought during that exhausting match??... she's only human! all are human! kvitova lost in 1st round, osaka, serena, bertens you name it, all quality players and all lost here. even though they had better time to play (not midday!) ... how many of you criticise them the way you go on with simo when losing? shame on bullies, and time to get off simo's back!
simo just had a bad day, ...so unlucky to play second player as newbie to her, young and strong... also, i think vondruskova was to look 4 revenge for recently losing fedcup to romanians, in such a way and to demonstrate she was a better choice to siniakova; not to mention another match in the middle of day, with sun in their eyes...many elements to think of, then; and in tennis it's just the way it is; win or lose, there's another match coming just around the corner, and lots to learn from previous one...

It was a really bad match from Halep after the first game of the 3rd set. She couldn't make any shots she usually makes with ease. She just kept running but Vondrousova was ready for that and she was even more behind the baseline than halep which is really surprising. She should have dropshot her like a million times but didn't. Hope she can learn from this match and win Miami.
Simona is lacking versatility she should try doing some slices and coming to the net like Bianca Andreescu she’s still young but showing some great promise!
Simo looked really tired and lethargic in this match. Seemed to be playing in slow motion and none of the power and counter-punching she is capable of. Well below her best. I think that her consistency might improve if she expanded her shot repertoire to include slice. The ball is sitting up in the strike zone of the big hitters with not even much spin, so not surprising that she might get hammered in games like this. Since winning the French open she might have lost some of her motivation, as well. You can't afford to do that while the other players continue to improve.

You should watch a hundred games to draw a conclusion about her performance, not just one. She was number 1 and won RG last year. Isn't that great for you?
After asking around since last year, and wondering WhoTF was the lady announcer on this (and other) matches, I have learned that she is Stephanie Dubois, a former Canadian ladies player for about 10 years, now in her early to mid 30s. Stephanie sucks, and I am looking forward to when she can actually speak English, which could be never. (No grasp of dipthongs at this time.)
Correct worst serve in top 100 women’s players better without the serve. Sure she get some sort off form at summit normally against the better players she puts the effort in think she thought just needed to turn up.
Every time Halep and other very religious tennis players win, they make the sign of the cross as a thank you to their god for supposedly helping them with that. They never make the sign of the cross when they lose. I wonder what's the inner conversation. God, you screw me up this time. I see you in my locker room. Fell asleep at the wheel again, didn't you?
sorellman. this cross sign from simo is a symbol of how she consistently attributes her win to another spirit than herself; it shows how humble simo is... as to her reflection afterwards, i'm sure any loss she attributes to herself and she blames herself a lot for that, that's why she cries after losing any match; it's the realisation she's as human as can be, and probably she blames herself even more so, for not outdoing her own limitations; she's a complicated person - as i've heard, and not easy on herself, but let's admit to this: when she is good she's really really good.
