    Just put mine together with the instruction booklet. My keyboard drawer also didn’t quite fit. I *very gently* used a ratchet strap wrapped around the part that holds the keyboard tray to squeeze the gap like a 1/4” so that the tray actually reaches both sets of rails and it works great now

    If you have a piece of equipment that is too long, you can’t get to it from the back of the desk because the back board is blocking. Im wondering can I get rid of the back boards and still put top of desk together

    I can’t seem to find on your website the hole mount attachment for a boom arm. Would you be able to send me the link for it? I’m up in Canada. Thanks

      I wouldn’t use the booklet to wipe myself. The screws to attach the legs are impossible to screw and tighten. Even burned out 2 electric screwdrivers.

      Same, took 3 calls to them and I still don’t know which screws to use because they sent a 3rd bag of screws which appears to be mislabeled.

    Keyboard slider broke off as I attempted to slide in and left and right side didn’t align up properly as if it was too wide. Now i have these rubber pieces with balls in them and my right side slider is broken. Smh! HELP

      Same lol. Happened to me after I finished putting together the whole thing and was just testing the slider to make sure it worked…. The little sliders with the ball bearings popped out on one side and it’s physically impossible to get them back in. I gave up since I don’t really need the keyboard tray as I’m using a laptop with a Magic Mouse. Still ridiculous

    I just put the legs on, and I tried using a Dewalt impact driver. Don’t do that. Screw the screws in by hand. It’s impossible to get them to go in straight, otherwise. By hand, they snug up just fine.

  • @jamesb44
    @jamesb44 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    What is confusing is the instructions show two sets of wood screws, whereas i got three sets of three different sizes of screws. I had to figure out which screws to use. On the upside, the veneer wood grain is very nice and by looking into the cut out holes, it appears to be good quality ply.

    in total a good quality system! but the (new ) rail system ( on studio line) is completely useless as the locksystem ,( grey plastic one ) must be removed and is to close to the screw later.!!!

    You guys really need to add the instructions for the shelf glides to the sidecar assembly video. I cursed you putting it together a couple of weeks ago. The fact that the glides can be disassembled for installation is important.

    I‘m waiting for mine. I expect to drill holes for chords on the top of the desk. Anyone has already tried?

    • @hockeytalk6084
      @hockeytalk6084 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      At least half of the holes aren’t pre-drilled anyway so I don’t see why you couldn’t drill more. The table itself is very sturdy. The rails for the keyboard tray appear to be the a major issue, at least in my case and many others

  • @ggeessttaalltt
    @ggeessttaalltt 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Building this now. The screws for the legs wouldn’t go all the way in without power tools, but wouldn’t go in straight with a drill either. Used a drill anyways because otherwise there was no way to get them in. The amount of pressure required to get them in with a screwdriver just strips the cheap material the screws are made out of. The legs seem secure now, but look incredibly jank. Already kind of disappointed.

    I wouldn’t use the assembly instructions booklet to wipe myself. The screws to attach the legs are impossible to screw and tighten. Even burned out 2 electric screwdrivers.They sent me a 2nd set of rails for the underneath drawer and it still doesn't line up correctly on the right side and consequently falls out when I slide the drawer in and out. Really?

    So I actually had easy time compared to everyone else putting this thing together because I already went through hell putting together one of the Gator racks, knew what to expect with the parts/directions and I generally love their products so I decided to bite the bullet here. Like the rack, the table itself is rock solid once finally put together. One problem….. as soon as I slid out the drawer for the very first time after almost 4 hours of assembly, (remarkably, I had no issue installing it originally) it fell out and BROKE. Yes, that’s right….2 tiny little pieces of plastic with ball bearings hold the entire slider together…. and it’s physically impossible to put them back in once they pop out. I may contact them and order that piece just to do that part all over again…. but honestly, I think it’s not even worth the hassle as I’m using a laptop and don’t need the keyboard tray right now. Still incredibly frustrating and yes, putting this thing together was outrageously tedious, but the desk itself is very stable and solid. There are also a bunch of extra holes and pieces that are not required so that’s pretty confusing. And a strange amount of holes are not pre drilled. At a certain point, you just need to abandon the directions watch the video and do what makes sense. Desk looks great and I’m very confident in its structural integrity, but they could do a few things to make that less of a pain in the behind…

    Bella ma mi hanno mandato un pezzo sbagliato e ora sono in balia della burocrazia di Thomann che non mi sta supportando affatto. Peccato perché è molto bella e comoda ma il servizio di Gator e Thomann è pessimo. Non ricomprerei e con Thomann ho chiuso. Lo sconsiglio a tutti.

    The instructions say not to use power tools for the screws when installing the legs and in this video they do just that. Lol

    There are no FF screws in the manual, but it already ran out of DD screws. Are we supposed to use FF for the missing DD screws? This assembly is god awful.

  • @Johaneeeek

    Don't buy this. They can't even bother to write some further explanations on their instructions which makes this impossible to build without a video. 2 pieces were hidden inside 2 other pieces...like wtf? They dont think that is frustrating?

    Video is crap, desk is crap, and I wish I could return it. I've had it for a while and now reading your comments, I realize it wasn't just me. First off, the drawer assembly on mine is completely different and there is no tab. I forgot how I got it together finally, but yeah, absolute garbage.

      My desk in terms of structural integrity feels very strong, but I agree the slider is a complete design flaw. Mine immediately broke, and I just abandoned it altogether

    This assembly manual is the worst and most ambiguous I've ever seen. Whoever wrote it should be fired. The desk itself is nice though.
