Ive had the original purple for 6 years and love it till I started having recent lower back pains in the morning. This made me question the bed and noticed how much it was sagging. I reached out to purple and filed a claim under their 10 year warranty. They were super easy to deal with and stood by their guarantee honoring the claim at zero cost after i sent them photos showing the bed was sagging more than 1”. They also offered me upgrade options for the difference that I paid. I stuck with what I original purple bed and they sent a new to my doorstep a week after approval. Total turnaround was about 10-15days. Great job Purple!
I have the TempurPedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid and I have really enjoyed it over the past 3 years or so. It doesn’t have that traditional TempurPedic feel, it is much softer and rebounds much more quickly than the other beds in the lineup.
I had a basic tempur 10 years ago and I LOVED it, best sleep I've ever had, and couldn't wait to get back to it once I got my finances in order. My husband and I ordered a tempurpedic pro adapt firm last week, but started having second thoughts right away. Last year, in an attempt to get more out of my dying Casper mattress (8 years on it, no hate to Casper), I bought a Tempur mattress cover. It was awful, not the quality I'd come to expect from the company. But I couldn't return it, so that was $300 down the drain. None of the new tempurs felt like the original in the showroom, but I ordered it anyway off of faith. Then I started reading the reviews . So many people are having trouble with these Tempurs sagging just after the trial period ends (about 6 months) but obviously well within the 10-year warranty period (used to be 20). The thing that made me officially change my mind was that in every single review where they said they filed a warranty claim on the sag, Tempur denied the claim saying they'll only honor the warranty if the sag is visible with NO pressure on the mattress. Spending $3400 on a mattress whose company simply will not back their own product is far too risky, that's not a cost I can just absorb and deal with. My husband and I tried the purple in the store and actually liked it more than Tempur, but I went with my heart because of the mattress I had 10 years ago and Tempur's reputation. I checked out purple's website, and there were some bad reviews. However, on every single bad review, purple replied and told the customer that they were within the warranty period and a team member is reaching out to them right now to file a claim. Tempur's website? Crickets. A lot of folks also reviewed Tempur on Amazon specifically because they said their negative review was never posted on the tempur website and they thought that was sleazy. My mind was made up. Called and cancelled the tempur order before it shipped, switched the order to a purple original. It arrives today, and I'm really excited to see how it goes. Tempur also completely owns mattress firm, sealy, and other "competitor" brands, so they're monopolizing the mattress industry and purposefully making their products more cheaply (but still raising prices) while also making sure that they're intentionally making the "competitor" brands that they own lower quality than the tempur mattresses, so it always seems like Tempur is better. After learning all this, I'm secure in my decision. Even if purple isn't right for me, I'll try something else, but I'll never buy Tempur again. They were once great, but we all know what happens when companies get big and start monopolizing. Quality and customer service go completely in the toilet. Not for me, no thank you.
I think i would have to go with the purple mattress on this one. The gentle ease on my purse seems attractive, not mention cooling feature of that one.
I would like give both of these mattresses a try. I might sway more to TempurPedic between the two, even though I prefer more of a pillowtop hybrid. Great video!!!

With the prices of the TempurPedics, they should also wash your windows and reshingle your roof.

I would think you'd match the tempurpedic up against a more comparable purple like the hybrid 3 or 4
I'd like to try the purple. I'm hate the sink in feeling that memory foam mattresses give. I'm a combo sleeper so I like a bed to accomodate quickly
