Apart from w-a-y too much talking he didnt do my fav diddle bouncy beat! Try this folks. Do paradiddles on closed hi hats slow at first, but bring left accent onto snare-using B/D on the one. Adding 16th note doubles or triplets on bass drum gives a great funky bounce feel. Experiment on cymbal bell R/H or open hats here or there for a nice bitta spice! In your head it sounds BUM..TSHH...BUM BA BUM..TSHH..BA BUM..TSHH..BUM BA BUM TSHH..BUM BUM...TSHH..ETC. (Sorry i diddnt learn to read music but in 45 years of pub bands, and few studio demo's but hope it makes sense!)
Great lesson!
