You’re welcome! I’ve never had issues. When I’m doing the offset (inset), I look for the blue outline that gets highlighted and see if it’s going to pass the same area multiple times. If it does, I just adjust the inset again.
@@DIYbyCes Hi! Well I logged out last night and then logged back into Cricut Design Space this morning, and IT WORKED! Thank you, it's a very handy tip.
Fabulous! I saw a video on using a hatch method and then using the slice tool. This is much cleaner looking, not as choppy. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! I've seen several ways to get this done but I certainly like your way the best!
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️
I agree!
Amazing video, super clear instructions and it looks so good!
Thanks so much!❤️
you are my Savior!!! lol thank you for saving me some vinyl
OMG thank you for this!!!!
Well presented , thanks for the great method!
🤩
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Can you make a video of this on a more complex image?
much easier thanks!
I agree with Elizabeth McMorrigan fantastic video. Thank you.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Thank you!!!!
🙌🏼
Do you think this would work with the foil quill?
I haven’t tried it but I believe as long as the offset works with the offset quill, it should work too. 😊
Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome! ✨😊
This is great! Mine just don’t show up in new layers like everyone else’s 🤯😤
Genius 👏
Thank you! 🙌🏼
Thank you.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Do you ever have issues with the ink running through the paper from it passing over so many times? Thanks for this video!

How do you do offset with the iPad app version?
Hi, unfortunately it’s only available on the desktop / laptop version.
Awesome e! Does it take a long time to draw?
Thank you! It depends on how big the text or image is. With this particular one, it’s not bad. Didn’t really take long.
What does the offset actually do on a print
Hey when I offset my font the blue line only shows up on the outside it doesn’t fill in the inside at all. Is there another way to fill it
Hi, are you dragging the round toggle to the left?
@@DIYbyCes yes. But it doesn’t work does it matter if the font is .otf or does it need to be .ttf?
Why do you do it in -0.005 increments and not just Guess and check higher numbers? Like just -.01 vs -.0015 or whatever each time? Seems exhausting
I was wondering the same thing.
I wanted to start from lowest first then go higher. I just wanted to show that you can play around with the offset until you fill in the letters.
Try as I might, even using same font, doesn't work for me. I have a maker.
😟
Did you start at -0.010 for the offset?

Yayy! Thank you for letting me know! 🙏🏼
I tried it several times and there is still some white spaces.... What am I doing wrong?
Hi, how big is your font? Did you start at -0.010?
Nice but takes FOREVER to draw. Too many offsets!
Yes if you only have the 0.4 (fine point) pen, this is what you’d do. But if you have the marker, you only do it a few times since the tip is thicker
