john krasinski is that one person that acts like he's canadian, looks like he's canadian, seems like he's canadian, but is just a really nice young man
I like how John is getting a bunch of attention lately. I started binge watching The Office in late 2015 so it's nice seeing an actor that I actually like get attention
+Jack Crack: Never thought of Hugh Jackman, but yeah. After seeing him in Logan I could totally see him as Joel. Gerard Butler would be a nice one to. And I wouldn't have a problem with John Krasinski, but yeah, maybe a bit too young.
Why? Will you only be satisfied with seeing others be insulted? I like seeing celebs see the good comments, because many of them are, except I think they avoid reading any comments just on case.
Pardon Me He doesn’t necessarily want to see others degraded, but might want to see the other side of the spectrum and see how they react. Don’t always presume the worst out of people.
Throwing what? Obviously you have read this on some article, even Krasinski said in an interview he wants to play Reed Richards in MCU, stop trying to pitch you "original" comment.
A serious(ish) answer to the first question that no one asked for: there's actually quite a lot of similarities between comedy and horror, in that both genres are all about leading the audience on with certain expectations, then turning that around with a twist. The only difference that impacts whether the audience laugh or feels fear is the tone of the text. That's why comedians have the potential to write good horror. This is something that's been discussed before in the humour topic on the Writing Excuses podcast that I always thought was interesting, so thought I'd share :)
Never watched The Office so I had absolutely NO IDEA who this guy was. One late night, I watched The Hollars and I said he's like Jason Bateman and Chris Evans wrapped up into one. I wondered who the director was, looked it up and there he was again. What a talent.
s Hill the uk version is an awkward-dark comedy, the u.s. version is a bit more lighthearted. i guess it depends on your humour. but if you wanna die laughing, the u.s. version is perfect.
/r/sarcasm - yeah, I should watch both and compare. I'm not sure if the comedy doesn't translate or if we just have a lighter default setting but it goes for different genres as well. I heard of a Luther US version and immediately felt sick but both versions of The Office look good. Lol.
officeaddict33 Some people do get sick by the way it's filmed (mockumentary) because when they're holding the cameras, sometimes it shakes a little and that's enough to get really sensitive people sick. But unless you're like that or a little kid... no excuses.
What a lovely man. I was ready to fight anyone who was gonne send him hate. I'm serious. I will fight you. From afar and while using a proxy, but I'll still fight you.
this is amazing. its always "celebrities reading hate comments" and stepping away from the negativity here and focusing on the positivity is definitely what everyone should do. keep going
I'm a huge horror fan, went to see this last night with my girlfriend and it's a horror film like I've ever experienced; the fear I felt is akin to seeing a baby crawl out on a high-beam way up on the 60th floor of an under-construction skyscraper but you can't do anything except watch. I was on the edge of my seat worried about the characters the entire time.
Ben Hack he's a somewhat famous actor/director and right now he doesn't have a movie that he works in so he decided to appear lot of movies getting some attention to the new movie he directed
Can we just talk about the last shot of the actual movie, the sheer POWER behind Emily loudly cocking the gun while smiling as the screen cuts to black, showing that they have the information they need to take down the monsters, (and thus no longer need to keep quiet) like it’s PERFECTION. The entire cast did a fantastic job, and I am especially blown away by Johns directing abilities. What a Debut!!
For the sequel it should John and Emily begging to get in Dwight's shelter in front of a sign that says No Pounding, No begging. We could watch recaps how Kevin got eaten, Pam will be taken slave and Jim will be made a warlord's jester and Meredith just doing okay and Creed's head will be used as a soup bowl....All this happening in 495 months
Diego G. To be fair, I haven’t watched The Office in years. In the office, he was skinny with a baby face. In A Quiet Place, he’s buffer and has a full face of hair.
Someone made a parody trailer called "A Dwight Place" and I never saw the original trailer, so when I saw the guy playing Jim in there, I thought he was photo shopped in. I didn't even know until THIS video that he was actually in that movie
Bobcat Goldthwait also made a really good horror film called "Willow Creek" back in 2013. Comedians are definitely underestimated, and it's fun when they surprise us with such good films!
emily blunt (his wife) as sue storm, aaron paul as johnny storm. the thing can be cgi with a good voice. also some big guy as dr doom, with james earl jones as the voice.
The whole time I thought about his line in the office when he was interviewing Dwight for the manager and Dwight goes “my name is Dwight shrute” and he goes “alright shnute thank you for your time” it makes me laugh so hard
For the sequel, it should be just dwight at his beet farm killing the monsters.
YES
Double yes
You win for best comment.
WARNING, WARNING, WARNING
DAMMIT KEVIN STOP MUNCHING THOSE SNACKS
Good thing Kevin won't be here to ruin the longest silent streak in Office history this time
lonewolf gaming23 XD yeah poor Kevin would be such a liability in that world!
lonewolf gaming2
I bet he be the one eating popcorn in theater
Oh yeah
I knew it!! Soon as I heard that wrapper!!
"Homeless for several years, should've stuck with Pam"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@dooporama9603 Obviously not
Omg 😂🤣
This is canon.
I SHOULD HAVE JUST STUCK WITH PAM.
I don't think he is thinking that.
He was being sarcastic when he said that
obviously he didn’t really mean it, but you guys don’t have to be such downers 😂
She would have made him laugh and then they would have all been dead
gamingsfinest1 not if they jinx and the Coke machine was out again 😂
2:38 Omg he still does the Jim Camera Stares
Dude John you said my name perfectly
Tyler Hoagland Yeah, no.
Dog, take your victory and go, you're gonna bottom out
you look exactly like what a tyler hoagland would look like
Rudy Ayoub prove it
Tyler Hoagland you just look like i imagined you
Why did Jim grow a beard and why does he keep referring to himself as “John Krasinski”
He is pranking Dwight
So confusing right??
Identity theft is not a joke
It's just a character. Jim became an actor.
*Top Ten Pranks That Went Too Far*
Came here for the Jim and Pam comment.
Who are Jim and Pam?
Dean Yordanov the office characters
Dean Yordanov can’t tell if that was a joke buddy
Unicorn Flex we all did
They are 2 gods walking around in human bodies.
john krasinski is that one person that acts like he's canadian, looks like he's canadian, seems like he's canadian, but is just a really nice young man
The best kinda man.
The charisma he has is just amazing
Justin Santiago I agree!! How can anyone not like him??
Yum yum yum...his looks and his humor have me all melty lol
I like how John is getting a bunch of attention lately. I started binge watching The Office in late 2015 so it's nice seeing an actor that I actually like get attention
I know, right? And he seems like a really personable guy, too.
I just started to watch Office again some time ago, just started season 6 last night, and it's amazing to see John do something amazing at the moment!
Noah R Don't they kinda set up Jim to be the most likeable character on the show?
"You're getting retwitted"
Haha, I liked that one too! :)
He’s a nerd and I love it lol
It wasn't 100% scary but it was a very good story
That being said I have yet to find a movie where I have to cover my face out of terror
conkerlive101 I couldn't watch Paranormal Activity 6.... Was literally covering my eyes all the time. One of those rare movies that I've done that
Wait for Hereditary
urmas lentso ahh yes paranormal activity 6, the one thats the different from the first 5. So rare.
Psyklops the 5th one was totally crap. My favourites still are 1st, 2nd and 6th
That last comment was really nice.
Theyn Smith thanks! Meant every word 😁
I really love your name, Theyn☺
wow, the man himself replied to me.
Gaming w/ Bix did you get twitted at?
GameEffect
No, he got *retweeted*
He would actually make a good Joel if they if made a Last of us movie. Not only does he kinda look like him but he sounds like him too.
David James what? where?
David James naah he's too young and his voice aint deep enough imo, someone like Hugh Jackman or Gerald butler would be a more nicer fit
+Jack Crack: Never thought of Hugh Jackman, but yeah. After seeing him in Logan I could totally see him as Joel. Gerard Butler would be a nice one to. And I wouldn't have a problem with John Krasinski, but yeah, maybe a bit too young.
Wow You're right hugh jackman
Hugh Jackman’s dream role right there.
Where are the toxic comments?
Sometimes we like to pretend that there are still decent people on the internet. Don't fart in that bubble.
Why? Will you only be satisfied with seeing others be insulted? I like seeing celebs see the good comments, because many of them are, except I think they avoid reading any comments just on case.
One guy did say, "You let yourself go!" More negative than toxic!
Pardon Me He doesn’t necessarily want to see others degraded, but might want to see the other side of the spectrum and see how they react. Don’t always presume the worst out of people.
They probably filtered them.
But how can you hate him I mean c'mon??
*jim trying to survive with family*
Kevin: *walks by and opens a cookie bar* ooh yeaaaah.
Jim: ...
Yes. Everything about this comment, just. Yes.
Man the silence and tension in the cinema when I was watching A Quiet Place was insane. You're a talented guy John. Really good movie.
Does anybody else think he would be great in the MCU as Reed Richards
just saying...
Just throwing that out there....
j michelle get a tweet started out for people to retweet
j michelle naw.... Jim is a great actor but a comedian actor. Reed rich is strictly business
afrokid407able you realize he just directed and starred in a horror movie right?
Throwing what? Obviously you have read this on some article, even Krasinski said in an interview he wants to play Reed Richards in MCU, stop trying to pitch you "original" comment.
Yes!!! Alright, also with his wife as Susan Storm, Michael Chiklis as The Thing and Aaron Paul as Human Torch. That'd be so sick if it was tangible.
Why so much niceties? Is the Internet broken?
Hunter Henryk Lots of people are nice online, but we only focus on the negative comments as if they have more credit.
No one hates John m8
does john krasinski hate mail even exist
They die before they can even click send.
just that one tiny *click* sound, and the monster kills them instantly
JOHN KRASINSKI AS MR. FANTASTIC
Yheaaa, I can see Reed Richards on him!
MARVEL make it happen!
J. Michael if only he acts this awkward in the movies
well he's gonna be shazam in dceu...
Yes!
J. Michael for the love of God no!!! Haven't we had enough horrible Fantastic Four movies? You really want them to attempt it again?
Rovi Dela Rosa
That’s Zachary Levi. Entirely different person.

that’s super interesting. i never thought of it like that. thanks for sharing!
Or comedians' way of wanting themselves to be taken seriously?
"you're getting twitted today"
If Marvel cast him as Reed Richards that'd be... fantastic.
Ok... I'll leave now. ;)
No no, come back now. We agree with you.
This is the funniest comment I've seen in a while
Shannon Shifflett Oh, you! :D
Badum tss!
Well Jim Halpert is fantastic
I love this guy...such a chill guy
youre doing amazing sweetie. no this isnt your mom
Never watched The Office so I had absolutely NO IDEA who this guy was. One late night, I watched The Hollars and I said he's like Jason Bateman and Chris Evans wrapped up into one. I wondered who the director was, looked it up and there he was again. What a talent.
You simply must watch THE OFFICE. No excuses.
officeaddict33 - The UK version or our version? I might do both.
s Hill the uk version is an awkward-dark comedy, the u.s. version is a bit more lighthearted. i guess it depends on your humour. but if you wanna die laughing, the u.s. version is perfect.
/r/sarcasm - yeah, I should watch both and compare. I'm not sure if the comedy doesn't translate or if we just have a lighter default setting but it goes for different genres as well. I heard of a Luther US version and immediately felt sick but both versions of The Office look good. Lol.

John is the best!
2:39 classic Jim looking at the camera
“I think you could grow out the best bears in the office!” - Dwight Schrute
this is amazing. its always "celebrities reading hate comments" and stepping away from the negativity here and focusing on the positivity is definitely what everyone should do. keep going
"John Krasinski is a guy you can't help but root for"
*_"Is this my mom by the way???"_*
Woah! Did that really just happen?! Big thanks to IGN for passing my comment along to John!
Old school horror done right. It's about the feeling of fear, not the blood and guts.
I love how he does the Jim stare from time to time
I'll give you 1 Schrute Buck
"Should have stuck with Pam"
My reaction: Yes you should have! Lol
Would have been a hilarious Captain America
i am more than happy with john krasinki as captain america.
taufikul rachman i would too
Jim Halpert with Captain America's body 👀
man, i just wanna hug him and tell him how well he's doing
Mr Fantastic
mezuki64 rather have dwight
Wow, those were some of the nicest comments I ever heard coming from an IGN comment section.
This man is everywhere!
Ben Hack ikr 5 days ago I didn't know he existed now I Can't stop hearing anything about him
Ben Hack he's a somewhat famous actor/director and right now he doesn't have a movie that he works in so he decided to appear lot of movies getting some attention to the new movie he directed
Project Legend somewhat?! He was on the office
Joel Deakin When I started watching The Office is when he started getting everywhere.
Can we just talk about the last shot of the actual movie, the sheer POWER behind Emily loudly cocking the gun while smiling as the screen cuts to black, showing that they have the information they need to take down the monsters, (and thus no longer need to keep quiet) like it’s PERFECTION. 1:20 missed opportunity: "maybe next time you'll estimate me"
For the sequel it should John and Emily begging to get in Dwight's shelter in front of a sign that says No Pounding, No begging. We could watch recaps how Kevin got eaten, Pam will be taken slave and Jim will be made a warlord's jester and Meredith just doing okay and Creed's head will be used as a soup bowl....All this happening in 495 months
Bears beets battle star Galactica
"I should've just stuck with Pam" 😂😂😂😂😂
We need him as Mr. Fantastic in a Fantastic 4 Movie
love how he got to see so many nice comments :') so much nicer to see than celebrities reading mean tweets
John is the best! Lol these comments, good responses haha!
Where are the Mr. Fantastic comments? Missed out IGN
John Krasinski should be Mr. Fantastic in the MCU
Like if you agree
1:15 you can see him to a Jim expression. Cool how John is basically the exact same as Jim
If Kevin was in "A Quiet Place"
"OOOH YEAHH"
*Dies*
you can seee he doesnt mind when people talk to him like he's Jim but he really likes it when people say other things about him. i love him
I just came from seeing the movie. It was pretty good. I didn’t know that Krasinski was Jim from The Office. He looks so different.
How do you not know he's Jim from The Office... His voice, his freaking face...That's just beyond me
Diego G. To be fair, I haven’t watched The Office in years. In the office, he was skinny with a baby face. In A Quiet Place, he’s buffer and has a full face of hair.
Anonymous X Alright, but I thought it was ridiculously obvious, but I understand if it's been a while
You should watch his Benghazi movie. Regardless of the politics his performance is amazing.
John is crazy talented, I'm proud of him. He deserves the attention and recognition he gets because of his talent.
Imagine being the person he said he’d tweet
He still looks at the camera ♥️
I’m rooting for Jeffrey Dean Morgan but John could also be an amazing Joel from The Last Of Us
Wandering Tear oh hell yes
Hell no. Stick with Jeffrey or Stephen Lang
Naa josh brolin for Joel
so kind and grateful !
"Anyone wanna bet someone dies because of a sneeze?"
That did not age well
You are my favorite character because of you’re funny pranks
That was a really nice last comment
Thanks! Meant every word :)
This guy is so pure and wholesome!! I can't even!
I hope he knows that he will always be known as Jim from the office
"this is the part of the video where i go cry
are you my mother, by the way?"
i love him so so much.
"Should have just stuck with Pam." DUH.
Nicholas Glover what part is this at
Someone made a parody trailer called "A Dwight Place" and I never saw the original trailer, so when I saw the guy playing Jim in there, I thought he was photo shopped in. I didn't even know until THIS video that he was actually in that movie
John got beefy AF! 😍😈
“I should’ve just stuck with Pam” my heart can’t handle.
So is he the director of a quiet place or one of the actors starring in it? Or both?
The FunWay Co-wrote the script, Directed, and started in it along with his real-life Wife. Cool stuff.
Both
I can’t stop looking at this face. 🥰 and The Quiet Place was great
Last of us- family edition
😂😂😂 yes
He goes i'm not ready to put myself in that category YOU HAVE EARNED IT
He got the captain America beard
When Emily blunt shot the alien, I yelled “GET ONE PUMPED!” and the whole theater was dead laughing
Either he or Armie Hammer for Hal Jordan.
Grobar Jug nah. Armie can be hal, John is reed Richards
Definitely, would be hyped if John is cast as Hal Jordan. Either that or Two-Face!
Taha Anis Siddiqui Or Golden Face!
He’s so funny! 😂 the jokes come naturally. No effort or pauses.
About 90% of the John Krasinski comments are to do with Fantastic Four and not a single one was shown to him?
I love how John directed a movie, starred in it with his wife, and made himself the hero
The movie qasnt super scary a good amount of tension
But still amazing plot and story
13 Hours, a Quite Place, and now Jack Ryan damn he's killing it.
Why is the iPad he’s using so old ?
Bobcat Goldthwait also made a really good horror film called "Willow Creek" back in 2013. Comedians are definitely underestimated, and it's fun when they surprise us with such good films!
Hmmm, Reed Richards or Hal Jordan?
Gregory Box Either one would work for me.
He's Jim in real life, too.
Such a fantastic film.
"A Quiet PLace" preview plays before the actual video. Awesome.
He needs to be mr. Fantastic in the mcu
John is the best
He'll yeah the only thing we need now is a good human torch and thing
emily blunt (his wife) as sue storm, aaron paul as johnny storm. the thing can be cgi with a good voice. also some big guy as dr doom, with james earl jones as the voice.
Love that he is growing out his beard
Who do y'all think could play human and thing in the mcu because john would be a fantastic Mr.Fantastic and his wife could be invisible woman
The whole time I thought about his line in the office when he was interviewing Dwight for the manager and Dwight goes “my name is Dwight shrute” and he goes “alright shnute thank you for your time” it makes me laugh so hard
If the Disney-Fox merger happens I want John and Emily to be the new Fantastic 4
And have Chris Evans to have a cameo as Cap because why not?
Daisy Ridley Videos Because he's likely to die in the next Avengers movie.
John has the power to be able to bring a line of dialogue or even a whole script to life...with his face.
Why is IGN still using 7 year old iPads?
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Did not know John was almost Captain America, makes sense though
from what video are this comments?
Not from a video
He kept looking familiar in the thumbnail and I’m like I think I know that guy! And I realized he’s from The Quiet Place
