Bought the older push pull non D version. I use it on my Nikon D7200. Sharp, sharp sharp! Using it to photo concerts. I love old glass made with METAL! I have a Nikon 35-70 2.8 that is also exceptional!
Nice! I played with my new Z6ii and a very old Nikkor 75-300 "screw type" focus lens (from the 80's I think). Since the Z camera cannot focus this lens, used focus peaking, and what a revelation! Sharper than I ever got before on this lens, just manually focusing. The Z camera also shows the little green square when focus is achieved. Aperture control is still handled perfectly through the FTZ adapter, on the 80's lens. Amazing.
Hi! Thanks for your comment. mirror less cameras give us today the ability to use any kind of old lenses from whatever brands and make stunning results thanks to IBIS and on sensor focus indicator which leads to no longer front or back focus issues
I have this lens and it is marvelous - you are correct that this lens is a beast but it is no longer made as you know. I use it with a D610 but with the newer Mirrorless cameras the images can be incredible. Thanks for photos on the ziti - beautiful
@@DidierMOULINPhotography definitely! another F mount I love is the 24-120 F4, bought it second hand quarter of the price of a new Z mount version, its sharp, focus good and even has VR, the Z mount doesn't 🤠
@@obedbrinkman I had it once with the D750 but I didn’t like it that much. The problem with the transtandard zooms is the character they have or they don’t. @@DidierMOULINPhotography Hi Didier - we're OK thanks 🙂 no i've never shot this lens, but I had an old 70-200f4 G lens which I used on my D800. I shoot the Fujifilm 50-140 f2.8 now, and it's a super sharp lens!

Could you make the same comparison of the same leica lens on sl2 vs lumix s1r, is there a 3D effect in the m11 matrix or is it all about glass? th-cam.com/video/yMPUODxzf34/w-d-xo.html
Sorry it won't be possible as I don't have the SL2 any longer. I can't mount the 80-200 and get the AF working. I couldn't set the focal in the SL2 as it's not a registre Leica lens and I couldn't,' on the S1R as it's a zoom... Sorry for my late answer I don't understand why I don't see some comments in the noitifications on my mobile app.

Yes, no longer built
Keep it and the day you will switch to Z system you will be pleased to have the IBIS !
One of the best lens of nikon range.
I made my first model shooting with this one years ago and I really found something special to this lens. Since I keep it !
I own that lens and love it on my Z6
It’s a kind of a new lens paired with a IBIS camera

Can LUMIX S1R take photos in 3:2 mode? And LUMIX S1R has Vlog? LUMIX S1R records 5k video in what resolution 16k 9 or 3k2 or is it a crop?
Curious to see how it performs on a z5
I’m not sure if the Z5 has IBIS ?
@@DidierMOULINPhotography internet says 5axis ibis, all i know is i can shoot like 1/30th of a second at low light concerts and get zero blur

great look at the 80-200 - nice one Didier :-)

Did you experiment this lens already ?

does it autofocus with the nikon z6ii
Yes of course. It’s an AFS lens
AF-D will not as it needs the screw driver motor…

How do you pair the Nikkor 80-200 MM WITH THE Z6 II with the Z adapter. When I put the lens on it would not autofocus.@@lifeisabruhmoment6167
