I have been doing martial arts since 1987. Karate, kung fu, jujutsu. That is the most bad ass simple thing I have ever seen. I am giving you all a call.

Here's the reality that seems to be passing over many people's intelligence: Martial arts is NOT what you see on the TV or Movie Screen... And yes the brother brought about a very good principle but at the same time I can see he's not explaining the truth completely or he hasn't been in a real live fighting situation because real knowledge to even comment on anything concerning Combat has to come from someone who has real experience in a live fighting for your life situation and so therefore the knowledge can't come from someone who doesn't have any in-depth knowledge to understand the reality of real live combat... And you Cannot debunk this program but at the same time I can say this: in reality if you are not faster or quicker than light-speed with that kind of knowledge you will fail unless your attacker is an immature fighter ...
Been there done that, "For Real"just so you're not thinking I'm just running off talk and no experience in a live fighting situation...🤔
If not one but 9 people are attacking you then how do you get out of that situation?
That's the reality of today because it's not like back in the day now...
And yes I've defeated over 9 persons who thought I was one of the common folk and so, who got schooled but them... Yes, I'm a seasoned combat instructor and I've been in real live fighting for your life situations....
I'm almost 70yrs now and so experience will always prevail...

What fascinates me is the number of views are in the thousands compared to 406 smash this channel's like button. I know by the numbers, you viewers are watching, in my opinion your ego is preventing you from hitting the like button, so do yourself a favor drop your dojo ego biases because you're anonymous (unknown, not identified). Nobody is going to your guro, sifu, kwanjangnim, graduate, kru, sensei, mestre, hanshi, dashi, provost to report you, I believe they too are watching. I am advocating it' doesn't hurt to show your like, it's just a number that I am asking you to give to this life saving knowledge. In the or end of the day it's about us all getting home to our loved ones. I am going to say thank you in advance for your support.

I just wanna point out one thing the master teaching this is that a high-level folks and confident in most people can never make it to that level the freeze the panic and everything that they study for a little while will fail them so you have to stick to self-defense as a lifetime God bless all good men that fight for the right reasons for self-defense or to protect someone being home by a evil person

Fab advice. The Sensei at my school always advised put distance between you and the knife as you can never guarantee taking control of the knife hand however good you believe you might be at knife defence. On the street one never knows how good the person attacking you is at fighting so essential you get outta there fast. Great non technical, effective moves DJ. Love em! I haven't looked at all your videos yet but what would be great is some self defence psychology advice, what I mean is how to manage the fear. How does one overcome the instinct to "freeze" when threatened by a bigger and more confident opponent? I'm probably fortunate to have had years of training in the military and also through sparring and practice at my martial arts school so I can turn my switch on pretty quick to a situation. What about advice to those without that background on how to psychologically manage?

It really doesn't matter what style of martial arts you practice!!!
Every teacher, master, practitioner must also practice and teach the art of deception. In self defense, your primary goal is to change or distract the attackers focus. Then get out!! of that ring of fire by any means necessary and give a good punishment. GREAT LESSON SIR!!!. you remind me so much of my kung fu master/ Shifu he passed away. may his soul rest in peace. THANK

Yes sir, Good concepts, for a Man, of about the same size and weight. For someone who fits the “victim” profile (smaller, shorter, esp a woman or elder) it will be very difficult, esp the face tap. Fortunately, if he’s not already poking you up, his mind isn’t 100% on harming you. Calm + Verbal de-escalation is best for them. Then they can hold that wall-kick defense in their back pocket just in case the guy gets bloodthirsty.

A Wing Chun person knows this. The only surprise for me was that you did the simple finger jab and the knee kick. I knew I would do it but I wasn't expecting you to do it. I was watching the video know what I would do as a Wing Chun martial artist. So was I expecting that as you asked yes it's exactly what I would of done. My Sifu has told us about letting the wall support us ect. Nice video but I still wish you wouldn't shout. There is no need for it, not all the way through. You don't have to shout to get your point across. It doesn't have the effect that you want anyway, we can just turn it down lol

Seems you are much to acquaint to one style.
The arm grip you showed, basic Jiu Jitsu, that move you to the side away from knive. But you not used body mechanics than to subdue mind. A small clap at upper arm cause reflex in the arm .
Via arm shoulder torsion put opponent at the ground face to the ground.
Small reflex in the brain Block STABBING.
In the arm a lot of nerves. Reflex movement overrule conscious attack.
If Aikido expert would use small nerve reflex in the pulse.
Without knowing why , agressors kneel.
You seems to prefer ISRAËL KRAVAMAGA approach.
Side kick at inner thighs to cause reflex. Break posture of attack completely.
But when your style works for you, stay loyal to it.
USA ARMY train brute force style. That's too their WEAKNESS. When tired, you break easy.
    Brute FORCE follow LOW IQ.
