The receiver is worth what it is selling for today. Around £1700. Definitely not worth the retail cost. The cinema 30 is a beautiful looking machine but again, is it worth the £4000 price mark? I don't think so at all.

Maramtz sr8015 model heating issue sir
I have sold around 70 units so far, AV receiver will get heated, its natural, But it has never been an issue sir.
So we don't need to have a pre processor and Amplifier combination.
This AV does the job...is my understanding correct.
Sir, this is best in AV Receiver segment. However the preprocessor functions cannot be matched by avr. This is av receiver top end model hence it closely compete with pre processors
Which one is better yamaha rx a8a or Marantz sr8015 and why?i think yamaha delivers more natural sound and lag free software
I had a chance to audition both, Yamaha RXA8A lacks 8k and 4K @ 120Hz pass through, however, Yamaha has promised to deliver a hardware update in future. Hence, as of now it is not Future proof as 8015. 8015 process 13 channel, Yamaha process 11 channel. Both amplifiers 11 channels though. Marantz 8015 drives at 140w per channel with THD 0.05%, yamaha Delivers 150w / channel @ THD 0.06%. the poit01% THD makes huge difference and becomes expensive too. Marantz's AK4458 DAC is more reliable and stable than Yamaha's ES9026Pro Though Yamaha claims that its DAC can deliver 124db DNR. Marantz 8015 sound was crisp, clear and its highly detailed. Yamaha uses Conventional Transformer and Marantz uses Toridal transformer. These small differences contributes huge difference in sound and experience. I felt Marantz 8015 sound more deep and detailed.
I personally uses A6A...with polk s20 series speaker the parametric eq we can tweak the sounds for music lovers and i already used marantz sr6015 the sound is good but i face so many problems sometimes the earc is not working and also i cannot hear the orginality of music the bass and treble are boosted in the receiver currently i am using dsd audio files marantz can handle 5.2mhz but yamaha handles 11.2mhz so finally my thoughts is that yamaha delivers more realistic sound and the stereo sepration is also good and i am not a gamer so i did not consider about 4k 120hz...yamaha unique thing is that they uses cinema dsp hd3 i love the sound when i was enable the dsp mode
