Lovebites is a power metal band whereas Band Maid is a hard rock band.... so there's a difference.... they are all serious and talented musicians.... absolutely no gimmicks....
Have all their albums, been with them since album 1, best power metal band since Priest/Maiden. All their stuff is in English and ALL of it is just as hard as this song...if you are into power metal , especially with dual lead guitars...you cannot live without this band's albums.
One of these days Asami will strike an anime-style superhero pose and a voice from nowhere will anounce "SONIC BLAST" before she goes into those high yells! Check out "Shadowmaker" or "The Hammer of Wrath live" by them :) Guitarists Midori and Miyako will shred anyones face to pieces. Haruna, the small adorable lady on drums must have a supercharger engine implanted somewhere and Miho, the bassist, is probably the reason why Steve Harris is aging faster lately.... It's insane what these ladies do. Asami used to sing R&B before she got into lovebites actually. She also has ballet-training which I think you can see in her graceful movements in videos and shows.
You say it well by saying how graceful they are. Band Maid are the same. As a general rule, Western female rock bands, dress similarly to your typical four chord male rock band. Lovebites, wear similar white outfits on their live shows. They do this as in their words, it helps them stand out on the stage. They play this well live and there are individual live tracks from their tour in Tokyo in 2019 on TH-cam, if they don't get taken down.
LOVEBITES is amazing. Love "M.D.O" and "The Hammer of Wrath". Not sure if there are videos of these songs on youtube now (there was one really nice for The Hammer of Wrath but they took it off). You should check Unlucky Morpheus "Knight of Sword" official live video. Or their newest MV from last week: "Unending Sorceress". I'm sure you'll love both.
Lovebites is amazing. Those girls hit ya hard. Their album that dropped this year...Black Pentagram is probably the best power metal album I heard in a long time (Unleash The Archers is up there too..). But if you want another song to check out...Try Hammer Of Wrath. Trust me it’s awesome
The new Lovebites album is called "Electric Pentagram", not "Black Pentagram". I think you may be thinking of the Unlucky Morpheus song named "Black Pentagram", which is also awesome by the way.
Gideon Trillian I meant electric....Lol. I was listening to Black Dahlia Murders when I was typing that so maybe that’s why I had the brain fart. 😂. But I do need to check out more Unlucky Morpheus ... only heard two of their songs.
I love Band-Maid, but comparing them to Lovebites is like comparing a stiff breeze with a Typhoon. 😂 When Midori (blonde) and Miyako (black hair) start trading solos, you best sit down, or get outta their way! And Miho (bass) is my future wife - in my dreams at least. 💗🤘
Hmm.. I like Lovebites on its own and they are really good in their rock genre. On another hand, calling a band "still breeze" when in in fact, Band-Maid doesn't really focus only on one genre of rock is quite too much isn't it?
@@ChrisPage68 Of course you can say what you want. Unfortunately, the same goes for me. "Intensity isn't as high" maybe because they aren't a power metal band in the first place? lmao! 🤣
Great reaction they have recorded 2 EP's and 3 albums since they formed in 2016 thier latest album being electric pentagram hope you react to more of this band some song titles you can find are shadownaker, rising , some live clips break the wall live in tokyo 2019 , red sky , mdo , all from the same live in tokyo 2019 show these have great sound quality as they were not fan shot but from one of thier DVD's.
If you love Lovebites, then you should try " Swan Song (Five of a kind) Live at ZEPP DIVERCITY TOKYO 2020. Miyako shows her true musicianship on this song. I ordered the DVD from Japan, which will release 7-22-20. I am 72 years old man and I enjoy and amazed at their talent! I love Band-Maid too.
put these on your list : Unlucky Morpheus, Mary's Blood, Aldious, Liv Moon, Cross Vein, Yuzukingdom, Broken By The Scream,Alhambra, Versailles,Jiluka,Wagakki Band,Zettai Club,Galneryus and don't forget the legends Loudness and X Japan Horns up from Indonesia \m/
Zettai Club disbanded earlier this year btw and so did Yuzukingdom. Still left us with great music tho. And if I remember correctly, Versailles also disbanded and became Jupiter.
@@mtanto1 That's why I said they left us with great music. 3 bands I loved disbanded this year alone and sucks I will never hear new material from them is all.
See beautiful girls walking. Song starts. Instant smile! That was my reaction too. Lovebites rocks as good or better than most bands. They are elite talent. More polished than Band-Maid. Lovebites is more technical. Love them both.
By Lovebites, Shadowmaker seems to be the logical next step. If you want to check out other bands, try Unleash The Archers - Abyss, or Burning Witches - Hexenhammer.
If I may be so bold to suggest something, another singer who imo exceeds this singer is Fuki from the band Unlucky Morpheus. If you feel like being blown away might I suggest Unlucky Morpheus - Unending Sorceress. You can thank me later.
@@ChrisPage68 What I can't have my own opinion ? Like I said, in my opinion I find Fuki's talent is better than Asami. It's just an opinion and not a fact. We all have our preferences so leave it at that.
Yeah, where Band-Maid goes into Hard Rock and Baby Metal goes into pop/punk/eurobeat metal, Lovebites instead goes into full-bore Power Metal. So there's a Female japanese rock band for any taste!
Lovebites are as good, if not better than DragonForce. Best guitar duo I have ever heard. I'm just digging into the past now for more Lovebites reactions.
Habe you heard of the Italian symphonic metal band Ancient Bards? Would be awesome to hear you listen to some of their music. This is a freaking awesome song 🤘🤘
The whole japanese chick heavy rock scene is amazing right now. Band-Maid is my personal favourite with Lovebites close behind, but there are a great deal of interesting heavy/punk/metal bands right under those two from the new japanese girlband scene. I would suggest you check out and maybe do reactions to Bridear, Mary`s Blood, Fate Gear, Aldious, Doll$boxx, Galnerious, Trident or the singer Yousei Teikoku. They are all interesting and getting better though not quite in the league of Band-Maid and Lovebites YET.
Remember when I told about Japanese ladies playing musical instruments better than you, well here's 5 examples. And they look they are ready to go out clubbing after the song!!
I would like to suggest you check out another japanese all female power metal rock band called Aldious. They are really so great live. Please do a reaction to this one : Aldious / Re:fire (LIVE) th-cam.com/video/vH2wyzUIzFI/w-d-xo.html I promse you won`t regret it, cause they just rock so hard.
I think its quite boring to see a band just standing, filmed in different angles. Its just a bad version of a live video. And that is why I ask for real live video
@@morganolsson1993 So you didn't notice japanese warriors then , from time past linking with them as metal warriors today thus when destinies align. Besides their musicians not actors .

Lovebites - Rising, Shadowmaker, Break The Wall, Above The Black Sea, The Crusade, Scream For Me... and almost every other songs :D

Great reaction, Lovebites is fire
Lovebites is adrenaline to Band-Maid's dopamine. I enjoy them both.
great reaction, next try to react their songs called "shadowmaker" and "we the united(live in tokyo)"
