I'm the only one who cannot seem to choose... I dislike some Vocaloids. I dislike some Utauloids. I love some Vocaloids. I love some Utauloids. I just don't feel that there is a need to decide that you hate or love a whole group...
Um. I have some corrections. -Neru is not a Vocaloid or UTAU. She is a derivative/fanloid. -Same with Haku. Edit: GUYS THEY ARE NOT VOCALOIDS!!! Neru and Haku are made from changing the voice parameter in Vocaloid. Neru is usually a pitched up Miku or a pitched down Rin.THIS DOES NOT MAKE THEM VOCALOIDS!!!!!! -Macne Nana is not an UTAU. She is a Vocaloid. Edit: Okay. She is actually an UTAU and a Vocaloid... alright then... Edit 2: She was actually originally made for GarageBand but got imported into UTAU and then later became a Vocaloid. Ok I think I'm educated on Nana now. I'm sorry if this has already been said. I just wanted to point this out. It's a good video though!
Allison Awesome Neru and Haku were most likely put there for popularity. Otherwise Volcaloids couldve filled the spot. (Yuuki and Lily). But there isn't many Fanloids so there can't be a 3 Vs video lol. But I agree this video is great!

Neru is actually a vocaloid OC but the person who created her changed up edited mikus voice to make it more original, and ended up writing a lot of hit songs using Nerus voice like Lost ones weeping Tokyo teddy bear Abstract nonsense etc Not to mention Neru has appeared in project diva games and even made a big appearance in the song by hatsune mike called "triple baka" As she did the beat and beeping noises through out the song she may not be an official vocaloid but shes seen as one to many people 😊

well, besides the whole money difference, i enjoy vocaloid more ? vocaloid was made by a professional group while utau was made by "amateurs for amateurs". i'll just say that they're both equally good and it all depends on the person. because i haven't heard much utau songs, i can't really compare it to vocaloid. plus i've already gotten used to vocaloid and their characters. i've fallen in love with talkoid qwq < 3 and half of my favourite artists are vocaloid users, or some of them collab with vocaloid users.

Honestly i prefer Utau they have generally more creative designs i mean vocaloids can be creative to with characters like VY1 who is literally a singing fan but I dunno Utau just clicks more with me but whatever opinions opinions
I think that's what I don't like about utau, sure, there's a lot of interesting ideas, but some feel SO overdone and crowded, which makes the designs feel a little too amateurish for my personal taste

Actually, it's perfectly reasonable for Len to have participate in this video, as not ALL of them are girls. There's one Utauloid, Namine Ritsu, who is a guy who dresses as a girl. So it's not just girls 😊

Personally I believe vocaloids have better Japanese than Utauloids for most songs (not all). But Utauloids have clearer and better English. Personal opinion ^-^ Agh I can’t choose from this video they are both amazing, I love Utauloids as much as vocaloid.

Doesn't everyone realize Utau is FREE!? And you can make your own VB? The only reason Utau is under Vocaloid's shadow is because of ADVERTISING and Most people haven't used Utau. So Utau is better. From my point of view anyways. Go ahead and complain about things like: "BUT UTAU DOESNT HAVE MIKU OR KAITO VOICEBANKS!" But for the record. You can make your own Vocaloid! ( Techically... Its actually an Utauloid but they are the same either way.)
Utau is WWWAAAAAAAYYY lower in quality than Vocaloid. There are good Utaus but it's a hit or miss. I would rather pay and have my songs possibly be in a video game or concert than have a free similar low quality program I cannot do shit with other than covers. Nothing wrong with Utau but there is a clear reason why people prefer Vocaloids.

Doesn't everyone realize Utau is FREE!? And you can make your own VB? The only reason Utau is under Vocaloid's shadow is because of ADVERTISING and Most people haven't used Utau. So Utau is better. From my point of view anyways. Go ahead and complain about things like: "BUT UTAU DOESNT HAVE MIKU OR KAITO VOICEBANKS!" But for the record. You can make your own Vocaloid! ( Techically... Its actually an Utauloid but they are the same either way.)
Utau is WWWAAAAAAAYYY lower in quality than Vocaloid. There are good Utaus but it's a hit or miss. I would rather pay and have my songs possibly be in a video game or concert than have a free similar low quality program I cannot do shit with other than covers. Nothing wrong with Utau but there is a clear reason why people prefer Vocaloids.
