You don’t need a lotto to purchase a 80k vehicle, but you would need a good credit score.
You can also do a HELOC and take care of the loan that way. Only need the V6 if you drive a lot of people. If not, then the GLE 350 will do..

I have this same SUV but in black with the 22" wheels. I love the side skirts on this one. Mine came with the side steps which is the worst idea ever. The only thing they are good for is to get your pants dirty as you get in and out. Not sure why that's such a popular option.

Oh yes 👍🏾 GLE 450 has the off-road and sand mode excellent for off-roading.

Buy Infiniti qx 60 and get same everything for half the prices
QX 60 is half the luxury of this SUV in most areas, i.e. safety features, ride quality, fit and finish, material, etc. If you looking at a Infiniti you are not in the target buyer group.
@@samcameron5056 you get good materials if you spend over 80 k for gls models if you spend 50 k like in e class Mercedes even the screen looks like 70$ tablet , and cheap plastic all over instead of you spend 50 k on Infiniti you can get much better car all over and high quality plastic inside.

To accelerate quicker is worth 10k? I love my 350 and don’t care about horse power.

You can feel the drive difference when you drive the GLE 350 vs GLE 450. All in all, its about preference.
You'll care merging onto highways or trying to pass someone. Anything under 300 for a 5000+lbs SUV is not enough.
Hybrid engine also makes night and day difference. If you’re going to get a 350, it makes more sense to just cough up bit extra for 450
The big question is , is it really worth the money !!! The boasted features available long back in 20,000 usd Korean cars 🤷♂️. Engine n performance agreed , the rest naaaa , the rear door entry space reminded me of a Tuk tuk!!!
Consider a test drive. The Mercedes-Benz build quality is better.

Came from a RR Velar P380 to a GLE 53 a little over a year ago and have never looked back. Range Rover was literally trash built. Was in the shop more than a dozen times in less than 18 months. Water pump went at 4k miles, fuel pump at 7k, water pump again as 11k, door pillar wasn't lined up properly and constantly sounded like the drivers window was cracked open, infotainment went black often and would default to high heat, sun shade rattled, exhaust rattled. Car was a pile of shit. Went to a GLE and it's been perfect in the year I've owned it.
I felt every bump in the road in a RR
Range Rover is one of the least reliable SUVs if not the worst. Even dealership doesn’t recommend to own, only to lease for a few years then GTFO

I am curious to know what metrics you use in evaluating and scoring SUVs. I went to buy a Mercedes GLE and discovered I could not even into into the driver's seat. It's very small and cramped. I even tried the larger GLS and could not fit in either. The legroom for their SUVs is 40 inches, some even 39 inches.
This is ridiculous for an SUV and cannot understand why they are ranked #1 in almost all categories.. They might be built for Europeans but the average American will fit fit in the driver seat.
American SUVs on the other hand have legroom starting at 43.5 all the way to 46. It might not seem like much difference but when you are above 6'3, as most Americans are, it does.

@@matcballstar Would be much better to have a 2 row version with enough space in front. Not everyone wants to pack people or kids into cars, some couples just want a decent car for themselves
@@marcoscastellanos1 I am 6'4 and able to squeeze into my wife's GLA when I have to drive it. The GLA has a legroom of 42. The GLE has a legroom of 40 inches and I could not fit my knees under the steering wheels with the seat pushed all the way down and steering all the way up. Why a sub-compact SUV has more legroom than a mid-sized baffles me. This is for both 2-row and 3-row versions of GLE. Big difference between 40 and 42 for tall people. The GLE should be at a minimum 43 or 44, especially for the 2-row model; not everyone needs 3 rows of seat.
