My Daughter and I were making Oatmeal Cookies and accidentally ended-up with Granola lol. It's amazingly good with organic oats, organic raw walnuts and pure maple syrup 😊

I remember in the 50's and 60's regular grocery stores would have coffee grinding machines similar to the one you used in this video. The AROMA was delicious!!! Glad to see they are still around. Thanks again for the wonderful video! It's always a highlight of my weekend for your input. 😎👍💯❤

2 weeks in a row, tall farm equipment snapped ourcable line, so we have been without cable and internet! We finally got it fixed yesterday and I can't tell you how excited I was this morning to get up at 5 am and pull up u-tube to watch all of the videos I have missed. Front and center was this by you Kevin!!! Thank you so much!!!
I love to make my own granola too. About a month ago I made a big batch (not as big as yours, though.) To get rid of some of it last week I experimented and used it in an old no-bake cookie recipe. It worked. It's basically granola glued together with chocolate and peanut butter. So good. 😊
The only thing bad about winter (in Maryland anyway) is no farmers markets. Of course that makes sense, because only a small amount of local produce grows in winter, but just the act of buying from a farmers market is good for the psyche..

I really like how you weigh your grains (flours, etc) for baking. I agree that weighing the grains are more accurate than using measuring cups, and the treats come out so much better that ways. This granola looks delicious, and it’s gluten free!

🍍Hi Kevin! Another lovely trip to make some wonderful granola! I love your Tierra Farm local store. It seems to have a great selection! I went to their website, and it appears that they do not ship internationally! The drop down box only gives the option of the U.S......which is too bad for me in Canada. The granola looks so good. Reminds me of the “protein bites” that I made a while back. A simple recipe of rolled oats real peanut butter and dark chocolate chips. No baking involved!

Really enjoyed the tour, seeing the coffee made was so interesting. I bet it smelled heavenly in there. All the granola was making me hungry. I could snack on it all day.

I loved this trip to Tierra Farms. I wish they shipped to Canada. If I did this exact haul here it would have cost $210+ And your haul was organic! If you put together boxes for your viewers for seeds you get annually, and this haul for granola, I can bet they would sell. Unless Tierra Farms puts together the “Kevin box” and it sells out ;) This would be amazing.
I need all those exact ingredients except hazelnuts which I am allergic too. Loved the coffee roasting segment! I could smell it through my screen.
I think I can purchase gifts for my friends in the USA from there and have it delivered to them for the holidays.
I never make granola I always do bars which is more work I find. Im gonna try granola next time! I am making blueberry muffins later. Your sweet cake is next. I didn’t have enough cream for it.

Another fabulous post! And with a tour of the coffee bean roasting - cool beans, lol...! It was nice to see that very large package of organic rolled oats looked like it was only under $7. I'm sure all of the items you purchased were pretty pricey but of outstanding quality and really if you price granola packages at the grocery they certainly are not cheap and use unhealthy oils, lots of sugar and a plethora of chemicals and "natural flavors" (yuck) so making your own is best! ps I just purchased a Vitamix and almond butter is a breeze to make in it and at a much lower cost than the packaged jars at the market. I don't think I'e seen you make any nut butters in yours yet. Can't believe it's AUG already --from Colorado!

I just love homemade granola! I'll definitely try your recipe the next time I make it. BTW, Amazon has a really nifty rechargeable, hand-held vacu-sealer. It comes with the gizmos to seal both regular and wide mouth jars, and I save my canning lids to use for vacu-sealing. It really extends the life of dry goods.
