This weeks Ghost Hunt has been released, IDK if I'll make a video covering the meathook itself, but I'll make sure to mention it next week. docs.google.com/document/d/18foY7fNTGO7RfQ9duYVwEQVMWs_4W8kQvbOptCCKZOQ/edit
SICK VIDEO. Great guide. As for the "item hunt = premium payouts" thing, I didn't even consider that was possible lol. It probably does equate to more premium payouts, but I've always done item hunts since before DevEx existed because IMO they lead to fund bonding moments. Most people will find an item and get curious for more and start talking to people, asking for guides, etc - hopefully making some acquaintances or even friends in the process even if the activity of hunting for the items on the map itself wasn't the most fun thing in the whole world. Not intended to be money-grubbing, I just genuinely want people to have more chances to make friends. As for the Halloween Prop Back - yeah it's intended to make money for the game lol The entire event is free to play and I've gotta pay for food/rent/healthcare while also paying the dev team for their build/tool work - we also have to make seasonal items expensive because otherwise the math just straight up doesn't add up, and the work we put into seasonal stuff makes back only as much as we spent to make it - give or take a bit. But it seems you understand those parts of the dev process already since you commented on it in the video. I'm glad to hear people generally feel the Halloween Prop Pack is a decent value.
