Simper Fi to the Color Sgt of the Marine Corp. I was there in 84 85 in the your place. 🇺🇸 the office where you hold the Colors and Ring Staff used to be my room for 2 years, and your office was another room. In the Hallway I was there when we painted that pic of the Color team. I remember always volunteering for details, and I kept myself busy. That was a special honor to be there. My Color Sgt. Was Sgt Caputo. Once again Semper Fi from this Corpral of Marines
Oorah! I was involved in Battalion Color Gaurd at 7th ESB in the late 90's for a retirement ceremony. We practiced for a week, then the day of the ceremony the Battalion insisted that I mount the battle colors. Oh boy is that heavy. But making the retirement ceremony something the marine and his family will remember forever was important. Total bearing discipline.
Thank you Sergeant, for your service to this great Nation and senior NCO as such. You have shown an excellent example for the NCO rank across the Marine Corps. We are proud of you.
We just can't Thank You all enough for all you do for our Beautiful Country so we can have our FREEDOM. After all, our FREEDOM is not free. It's all Thanks to those that laid down their lives so we can have our FREEDOM! All Gave Some, Some Gave All!! Once A Marine, Always A Marine!!🇺🇸🦅❣️
Especially now being Covid bored, I kinda wish K. Newton had gone into a little more detail. When and where are the colors displayed, history of the handling, etc. But I'm glad to see this video. My utmost respect and gratitude for your service. Thank you one and all! 👍👏
I'm the left rifleman for my school's MCJROTC first year colorguard and this gave me a whole new respect for those who bear the colors. Oorah to all those throughout history who have brought honor to the Marine Corps and oorah too those that have fallen in the line of duty.
I once had the honor of being in the Marine Color Guard in the July Fourth parade in Memphis TN, 1974, while stationed at NAS Memphis, Millington, TN for avionics training. I was the Port Side Rifleman.

Negative friend. The Surgeon General is (usually) a Vice Admiral who commands all of the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. Additionally they act as the medical advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations. The Medical Officer of the Marine Corps is a Flag Officer, usually a Rear Admiral, who is assigned to advise the Commandant of the Marine Corps of all medical matters. The MOMC is there to bring the concerns of the MEF Surgeons (I, II, III, and IV; all Navy Captains) to the Commandant. Source: I am an FMF Corpsman, I have had an MOMC tour and inspect my BAS, and I know what the fuck I am talking about.
If there is a Chaplain of the Marine Corps, why wouldn't there be a Medical Officer of the Marine Corps? Case in point. www.hqmc.marines.mil/Agencies/Health-Services/Medical-Officer-USMC/
"We can't live in the past, but the past lives through us". Such a beautiful saying I've been struggling lately on whether to join the Navy or Marines. The Navy has more of what I'm interested in which is aviation, but the principals, characteristics and pride of the Marines makes it hard to choose. My main concern with the Marines is that I'll be assigned to role that I don't want and pretty much be stuck in that field. Plus to be honest they're showing mainly the positives and not all the hard work and conflicts that goes on outside of basic training. Regardless, much respect to the Marines.
phillip wells: Phil honey, if you have to think so much about whether you ‘want’ to enlist in the Marine Corps or Navy , forget about that. You couldn’t measure up to be a Marine. Marine Corps comes from your heart, not pondering and wishy- washy thinking about which was worthy of your help. That’s just stupid kid. You’d never make it! Try the Girl Scouts.
For the "official" flagpole style Marine Corps Flag...is it double-sided? Believe it or not, I have been looking everywhere for an answer to this. One would think it would be...but you know the old adage about assuming things. ;)
your colour are different than british and commonwealth just like us.our colour size are just like and ordinary flag size.then, our battle honour or you can called it battle colour are embroidered inside the colour with you can see when the colour bearer flourish the colour.but according to tradition in the british army and commonwealth, only the youngest officer or youngest high ranking officer in the regiment are given the honour to carry the colour.other thing is colour is only represented by monarch or head of state of a country in commonwealth.you can see the colour in the trooping the colour ceremony in the UK or other Commonwealth country.
It probably doesn't bother him as he has more important things to worry about. You seem triggered by it. I wonder how he feels about lunatics driving around in huge pickups with a big American flag flying underneath a Trump flag and calling themselves patriots?

There is also a Medical Officer of the Marine Corps.
Bonham Scott nope. That’s the surgeon general who is a navy admiral.
Because Marines....don’t have any medical people 😂
