@@michaellebor8458 yes you are right! i made a mistake because of shooting videos vertically . i will pin your comment so that others don't get confused, thanks for the comment 🙂
if you can buy a camera which do multiple things that's alright, it's a cinema camera but you can do livestream with it as well, if you can buy a camera only for livestream it might not be this one!!
Thank you so much for this video! Straight to the point, no unnecessary or complicated info, just the basics in a simple, fast, and informative way. You explained the reasoning for each setting so well too, I feel like I finally understand why specific setting modes are chosen :) Also the SD card info was super helpful!
there is no picture profile for slog3 in fx3 anymore, sony removed pp7, pp8, pp9 from firmware version 2.0, you have to enable log shooting to enable slog3.
In flexible exposure mode you can mix and match which of the three controls are automatically controlled. You could for instance just have ISO on auto with IRIS and SHUTTER set to manual or set all three to be automatically controlled.
Thank you and yeah i think it will also work for fx30 as both cameras are same except the sensor size and dual native iso. i think it's 800 and 2500 for fx30.

Thnks for the video man you are great I just subcribed also.Question: why I can't go lower then 3200EI/4.0E/H ? I did everything you told, I work with PAL
Hi, thanks man, if you are in cine ei mode the numbers in iso doesn't matter, it only effect your display, 3200EI(doesn't matter, only display )/ 4.0E(only display)/ H(means you are in your high base iso which is 12800), change your iso button to switch base iso so that you don't have to looks into these numbers, follow this th-cam.com/video/Vd9KbREqzAo/w-d-xo.html video if you don't knwo how to do that. hope it helps.

@@lipu.hossainthis is simply not true. There is plenty of capacity with v60 cards. 4k 10 bit 4-2-2 30, 60 and 120 in S and HS is available with the V60. The only thing missed is the all-intra codecs and 240 fps 1080. Most folks probably don’t use those anyway. Same goes for the a7siii and zve1.
@@CAMTechChris i won't argue!! People can shoot in hd as well if they want! This is just my opinion to get the best out from this camera in minimal way else i would suggest to get cf express card!!✌️
DCI surely gives you more width than height? It’s a wide screen version no?

Fucking bad review
Great and clear info, will use your settings. Hope you have a video explaining CINE EI and colorgrading
thank you very much 🙂, i will try to make some contents about the topics you mentioned.
Are we doing the same as changing picture profile? I assume we don't need to change PP with these settings

Is there any picture profile with this?
sorry i didn't get you! are you asking about custom luts?

So it wont let me change the shutter speed unless im in flexible exposure mode?

i have the same question
Do you also have tutorial video with the same settings explaining about sharpening and noise? 🙏🏼
Not yet but i don't change these settings in camera, i change them in post if needed.
absolutely wonderful video. does this also work for the fx-30 I have both fx3 and 30

welcome to the community 🙂
So whats the compression on the DCI?
i think it's called XAVC S-I DCI 4K, so just changes the resolution not the compression, same as S-I.
Wt picture profile is best?
for me it's slog3.
Can I take self Portrait with the Sony mobile app ¿
why not? off course.you can control your camera with it so why not self portrait 👍

Why iso 800? Great video
@@pseebald1 because 800 and 12800 is the base ISO for sony fx3 and the video will be as clean as possible in these two iso's.

sure..i already have plans for it..
Awesome video.
thanks 😀
It wont allow me to mess with shutter speed?
i think it's a little bit confusing..i will try to make a video about that..thanks for the question.
dont need v90 cards if you are shooting in xavc-hs or xavc-s. V60 will do eben V30 for some lower bitrates
then you don't need a fx3, you are missing out from it's true capabilities..anyway have a nice day.
