I really don't know what to feel man. Should I be angry for not knowing this my entire career using 3ds Max or be glad I found you and your channel.

Used it once in 2014. If only Autodesk spent more time Explaining existing software's than buying out new software. I would still be on 3dsMax. Thanks RAM.

To all those who think Max is dead, Max has a lot more to offer. Another great video Vjeko, although I've already worked with the video sequencer several times and therefore know its advantages. I've also recently become a Vantage user and am currently trying to get to know and test the advantages of the engine. However, I'm not sure whether the “sequencer data” is transferred to “Vantage”. I'll have to test it.

    Thank you so much!
This is going to very helpful.
If you'd like to render multiple cameras in a go, you can use the Batch Render tool, which is also in the Rendering menu.
Lots of plugins that do a better job than Batch Render though, its ancient.

This is incredibly useful and I've never seen it. Now if we could only add sounds to be able to cut the scenes to the music tempo... Would be awesome.

Right click in viewport / Dope Sheet, and on the top you have Sound, double click on that and you can load an audio file to your timeline!

This is a very nice feature but for the love of god, please give the shots some additional frames before and after. You never know if it fits to the music or if the client wants some changes afterwards. Sincerly the cutter :D

hahaha Dangit! forgot to mention that lol
I always render about a second (depending on scenario) of extra "meat", you never know when you'll need them.

I think blender has direct option to bind camera and even have dedicated video editor for such work.

Today i learnt that, you can get color picker outside of 3DS Max window by holding LMB...AND IT SAMPLES COLOR IN REAL-TIME‼️
Damn, all the times i have struggled to get the color from some google image.🤣🤣

    Great video, once again.
I have a little question - I use Layer Manager constantly, turning off layers to work, then turning layers back on layers to render. Is there a way to save Layer Manager states? A little like Scene States, but just for the layers?
Anyway, keep up the good work!

state sets is very neglected, it has not been renewed for many years and it has a lot of potential, I hope they add the ability to move objects or the switchmaterials

I'll check since i make a lot of montages for sponsored posts in Davinci, it have video transitions that get rendered in the image sequence? Would really saves a lot of time when we have to make different wallpapers appear ;D

    • @RenderRam
      @RenderRam  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Think so, believe you can render it in some primitive engine in no time if not

@@RenderRam I come back to Twinmotion, the latest version have added Lumen and it's a game changer, it's still not quite like an offline render, but it's pretty close at a pathtrace quality with a real time render speed.
'm trying to move my video render there to saves some time :D

How long it will took to render on max. I mean who will use max today for animation rendering when there plenty of realtime ray tracing renderer are there..

I use 24 for when I want cinematic looking renders (note camera motion blur of some level is _required_ for 24 fps) and 30 for anything technical or where motion blur is not desired. Sometimes I'll use 48 or 50 for technical stuff that needs to be ultra smooth, but rarely - because it increases animation render time dramatically. I also sometimes set my framerate to 48 for calculating physics or cloth, but then render every second frame to get 24. Lots of variables here and as Vjeko pointed out, are you rendering to PAL or NTSC, etc. Happy animating!

State Sets are a great concept, but they need an overhaul. Uncomfortable to use at this point and it's easy to make stupid mistakes.
