How can we decarbonize our capital projects? Opportunities in planning, procurement, construction

Decarbonization within the construction industry has become an increasingly important topic to address, and CII RT-411 is focused on identifying practices and methods to track and reduce carbon output in the delivery of capital projects. The webinar will introduce the importance of industry decarbonization, provide important concepts, present RT-411’s current work to date, and highlight the expected final outputs of the investigation.
The research team will additionally survey attendees, who are invited due to their topical interest and expertise, to support its research. Results will be anonymized and employed as input data with the objective to develop an understanding of current decarbonization drivers, goals, means, and methods of the stakeholders involved in capital projects. The survey will consist of four blocks of questions distributed throughout the webinar. The questionnaire portion is expected to take 10-15 minutes in total.
