Thank you very much for the video. I took a chance and bought one of these, but I ordered the more square shaped one. This was very helpful to let me know what to expect.

@@MaritimeUnpreparedthanks for watching and commenting. Thats a really good idea, im camping right now and used it last night in my tent, had it set on the first bar of like the medium gears and it consumed my deisel than i thought so i might actually consider a 5 gallon tank. Question for you the filter you used is it a filter like mine or more like a fuel clunk?
Looking into one of these this year to help with my LPG usage. Noticed you put the filter on the opposite side of the pump as I have seen. No one has said, is that a push or pull pump?
@scooter6334 Thanks for watching and commenting, and please give me a 👍,. To be honest, I'm not sure, but I think it's a pull because when you first prime it it just lifts the fuel with no problems, and I put the filter before the pump because diesel is not always clean in my experience, so it will catch debris and keep my system clean.
@jacobc5757 yep she was blowing smoke until it got hot and burnt all the new off. When you restart it after it sets overnight it will smoke just a little when it starts back up
Yea, I am sure fuel has to run into the basket first. The arrows on the filter point towards the fuel tank, not the direction of fuel flow. It’s confusing.
@@buck-n-gunoutdoors6622 you did put it in correctly. Fuel goes into the empty side and leaves via the basket end. th-cam.com/video/Yn-GAIzelCU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WB-v2FRamUkbjVJG
@rogerhargreaves2272 thanks for watching and commenting please give it a 👍. I put it in with the arrow with the flow of fuel, it is possible I put it in wrong but it seems to be working right, but I wouldn't bet my life on it lol
To big of fuel line... you are going to have problems down the road... fuel line should be 4mm I.D. or smaller... i used 3mm i.d. hard line and no air lock in line and very efficient... just a friendly heads up...
@RAM-19 thanks for watching and commenting the line I put on it was actually the same or a just a little bit littler I'd than what came off of it, but I guess it would hurt to double check it. Please give me a 👍
Johnmck47 episode 11 gives a great explanation of the fuel system and problem with 4mm fuel line... give it a watch and you will have a much better understanding... have a good day... stay safe...D.@buck-n-gunoutdoors6622

I changed the fuel tank over to a 5 gallon Jerry can. I put a fuel filter at the end of the line so it sits on the bottom of the can. Good video

Looks like you have your filter backwards ...
Thanks for watching and commenting and plz give me a 👍, it's in the right way. I checked 2 or 3 time before putting it in but thanks for the thought
