Mine is coming in soon. Thanks for posting this. I have the same model and was wondering how to prime it. FYI. They sell 3D printed plastic legs to give it more height on ETSY.
@187manowar thanks for watching and commenting plz give it a 👍, hope you like it, I really like mine and I bolted 1" square tubing to the bottom of mine works pretty good, I have a couple more videos coming out in a couple of days on it
@timhayes3001 hey thanks for watching and commenting plz give it a like, im glad it helps. My opinion if your shed is insulated should work good if it's a metal and not insulated might help knock the chill of but definitely want run you out, my building is 8x40 container and it helps a little but I have to leave my door open, I don't have it's set up to run it with door closed
Thank you very much for the video. I took a chance and bought one of these, but I ordered the more square shaped one. This was very helpful to let me know what to expect.
@rockyroad8514 thanks for watching and commenting, I'm glad it helped you some. It is currently November 22, 9:42pm around 41°F and im camping this weekend and it's supposed to get down to 35 tonight and 32 tomorrow night, I just fired it up to warm up the tent wish me luch lol, fi you haven't plz give me a 👍 and subscribe
Hey. Great vid. your description was great and very understandable, much better than the manual. Looks like you are using yours for the general purpose as I am.By the way, your shop isn't near as messy as mine is. Thanks for taking the time to do it.
@maliamaxcy7065 thanks for watching and commenting plz give it a 👍. Thank you very much for the kind words, I hope this helps ppl I try to make it simple because I am simple lol. The funny part about my shop is I know where probably 99.9% of everything is. Thanks again
@@MaritimeUnpreparedthanks for watching and commenting. Thats a really good idea, im camping right now and used it last night in my tent, had it set on the first bar of like the medium gears and it consumed my deisel than i thought so i might actually consider a 5 gallon tank. Question for you the filter you used is it a filter like mine or more like a fuel clunk?
I really need a heater like this for my big Step Van!! (like UPS Van) .. Long story short but we had to pull the hater hose off to fit the new Distributor in it! I have bee freezing my butt already (here in Canada, we got 2 foot of snow this weekend!!) I was not sure I wanted it .. but after your video it seems like a good product!!! Thanks very much for the explanations and details (like the primer for 7 seconds!!) s I'm going to put it behind the passenger seta in the Chevy Step Van, and run a hose with a (three way?) valve to direct heat either in the cab or in the back (if I am dong work back there!) I'll run the intake and exhaust out the floor of the van! (just keep them far away form each other under there) I'll I'll have to buy extra is the ducting valve. I saved a couple of those "diesel fuel additive" containers truckers throw away, and store spare diesel fuel in them!! They have a long hose attached that is great to pour with, and they are free! :)
@MikeBaxterABC thanks for watching and commenting. Give me a 👍. I'm glad this video was helpful to you, I think this might do good for you, and when plumbing it in I would leave the intake inside it's will then draw in warmer air instead of drawing in cold air and having to heat it up, I've seen where ppl say it works better that way, I've tried to think of a way to pull air across my exhaust pipe so my intake isn't pulling straight cold air in
@kevinAtkinson-o1q thanks for watching and commenting plz give it a 👍, my "exhaust box" is on the right way if you pause it and zoom in you can't see the little drip hole because it on the bottom
Keep the exhaust pointed at a down angle. If the lowest point on the tube is before the muffles that is where condensation will collect. Think about it like a sewer drain. You want it all to go out the end.
Thanks for watching and commenting plz give it a like, When I set it up I try to at least put it level or slightly sloped, but I have not seen any condensation yet
Looking into one of these this year to help with my LPG usage. Noticed you put the filter on the opposite side of the pump as I have seen. No one has said, is that a push or pull pump?
@scooter6334 Thanks for watching and commenting, and please give me a 👍,. To be honest, I'm not sure, but I think it's a pull because when you first prime it it just lifts the fuel with no problems, and I put the filter before the pump because diesel is not always clean in my experience, so it will catch debris and keep my system clean.
@jacobc5757 yep she was blowing smoke until it got hot and burnt all the new off. When you restart it after it sets overnight it will smoke just a little when it starts back up
Has anybody ever thought about putting legs from a dryer or washing machine the adjustable height legs on the heater I think that would work a whole lot better instead of a block of wood
I hope all you guys know that when you open it , reconfigure the inner workings, put it back together. If it burns down youre garage, VEVOR will not be held responsible since you altered the design.
@clinttheweldor2653 thanks for watching and commenting plz give it a 👍, you're probably right but I wouldn't think anyone would be able to get them to be responsible anyways.
@maxvangelder2339 thanks for watching and commenting give me a thumbs up. I hate to hear that mine has ran get from the start, I'm not an expert by no means on these thing so I really don't know what it could be, I'm mean basically you need power (spark) and fuel and air, I guess check all your lines and make sure there are no blockages then all your wires and maybe someone on here might have an idea how to help
I have a riddle: A litre of diesel contains +- 10kw of energy meaning to have 8kw of energy u need to consume 0,8l of energy and burn that 100% efficient but but but and these heaters consume around 0,45l a hour on max and they have energy losses on the exhaust heat.......................How many KW they really have
To big of fuel line... you are going to have problems down the road... fuel line should be 4mm I.D. or smaller... i used 3mm i.d. hard line and no air lock in line and very efficient... just a friendly heads up...
@RAM-19 thanks for watching and commenting the line I put on it was actually the same or a just a little bit littler I'd than what came off of it, but I guess it would hurt to double check it. Please give me a 👍
Johnmck47 episode 11 gives a great explanation of the fuel system and problem with 4mm fuel line... give it a watch and you will have a much better understanding... have a good day... stay safe...D.@buck-n-gunoutdoors6622
Yea, I am sure fuel has to run into the basket first. The arrows on the filter point towards the fuel tank, not the direction of fuel flow. It’s confusing.
@@buck-n-gunoutdoors6622 you did put it in correctly. Fuel goes into the empty side and leaves via the basket end. th-cam.com/video/Yn-GAIzelCU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WB-v2FRamUkbjVJG

It's too expensive to run diesel here in Canada is too expensive. I am returning mine. My 240 volt construction heater uses less electricity a month than this will use in diesel a month to heat my garage.
