"King Explosion Murder", while hilarious, is actually a clever pun that got lost in translation. He replaced "hatsu" with the kanji for "satsu", meaning kill/murder. Then he added the kanji for sovereign/monarch at the end, read as "ō", the same sound in "Bakugō/ou". So you get Bakusatsuō, the name of a great hero LOL.

Fun little fact for the Normies: Because neither of Bakugo's hero names were really 'approved,' a lot of fanfics/fancomics taking place in the future have chosen to call him Ground Zero.

Funny thing: in Japanese 'King Explosion Murder' is actually a masterful pun on Bakugou's name as well as being fucking hilarious. This is because the kanji in his name are for 'best', 'explosion' and 'king'. Obviously it was still too violent but knowing this does portray Bakugou as intelligent as he actually is when he's not screaming/yelling. (I love him tho)
Shouto's name is actually a working hero name, since it's written with the kanji for burning and freezing. Tenya has no such excuse, as his name is written with the kanji for heaven and how/what/alas.
Shouto's name in kanji literally means "BurntFrozen" so I guess that a fitting hero name too XD About the other names, nothing was changed, the students do use english sometimes~ Aoyama is just a bit "quirky" since he doesn't seem to be able to decide between speaking English or French, he's just trop chic! I have full faith in Horikoshi's writing ability. Give Mineta time, deep down he's just as much of a hero as all the other students. He needs to kill the boy so that the man can be born! ALL GRAPE!!
★ Froggie Animation ★ Uhm... minetas character profile in the manga?
Okay the other person was still wrong, Mineta isn’t a self insert. But the author did say in Minetas profile that he’s supposed to represent the authors own pervertedness. He also said he just thought he’d be funny.
Every character has a piece of their author in them, whether it’d be likes, personality, or goals. The author can be most like Midoriya while still having a piece of himself be represented in Mineta.
I’m not saying that the author is a bad person. Absolutely not. I’m not saying he’s a pedo, or anything bad like that. I frickin *love* mineta. I think he’s goddamn hilarious. And I love the author! He’s written a great story which I love very much. I’ve defended mineta multiple times. So I am not attacking the author, he’s great.
So no, I’m not whatever insult you wish to fly at me, if your thinking about it. I’m not defending the froggy person, either.

“You know what it means: nobody Quirk is an umbrella”
That’s legendary lol !!!
Ha ha ha
The end credit is priceless, " I'm alive" 😂😂
"King Explosion Murder" is right up there with "Negasonic Teenage Warhead" (she named herself after a rock song, which makes it extra dorky).
Hope they double drop 16 and 17
Isn't it 17 & 18 that should be double dropped?
@@mickys333 ya you might be right I don't remember lol
@@mickys333 nevervmind it's 16 17
"Jet black hero tsukuyomi"
Midnight: " AAAHH!! God of the night"
it sounds so weird in the dub, like the entonation and stuff, because Tsukuyomi is the God of the Moon so it is literally the deity of the night but Dub Midnight makes it sound so wrong
"those two are on a crash course." oh yeah. iida the literal sports car running into stain the literal wall of knives
can't wait
I think Bakugo's name will eventually just become Lord Explosion and Todoroki's name will become Icy Hot
YESSSSSSSSSS
Works for me
"I'm alive"
Always gets me lol.
14:54 - 15:06 Shota Aizawa’s inner Dadzawa is showing. Like seriously he’s acting like a dad and I Love It! 😂🥰
“Nobodies quirk is an umbrella” I’m dying 🤣
RIGHT GUYS??? I also loved Alien queen :(
I just came hear to see their reaction to bakugo saying his hero name.
Was worth it lol😂😂
If Mineta was a villain his name would be Serial Grapist.
Here are some better hero names for some characters:
Ashido-Pink Hero: PH
Jiro-Hearing Hero: Stereo Heartz
Todoroki-Thermo
Thermos
Thermostrike
Bakugo- Bakuboom
Aoyama-
The Shining Hero: Versailles
The Shining Hero: Briller (French For Glitter)
The Shining Hero: Fleur De Lis
Spotlight
Shine Knight
"baku" means "explode". his names in japanese are a clever series of puns on his name, it just doesn't work in english.
considering the further developments of their quirks I think Spotlight would be a great name for Tooru now, I don't really agree with PH but it is really clever, I personally like Sansei Joō (acidic queen) for Mina
Fun little fact for the Normies: Because neither of Bakugo's hero names were really 'approved,' a lot of fanfics/fancomics taking place in the future have chosen to call him Ground Zero.
Yeah I heard it but I don't know where does this name came from
@@Ale-de9tk If you mean why does Ground Zero fit Bakugo as his hero name, it's because it refers to a place where an explosion (or sometimes a disaster) occurred. I actually would love if this somehow became his cannon name, but I don't have high hopes.
Fun fact- it’s Almight’s birthday today
As well as mine
next episode hype, can we have a opening reactiona swell somehow ? maybe redirect ?
pls ppl thumbs up this ;)
Its a bit sad that they only started that new intro in this video. Because the opening theme changes after this episode.
Suraj's Hero name should be The Shocking Hero: Surge Protector!
“midnight stop” LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO funniest part in the video
As far as names go for Bakugou I've said to my friends and obvious one would be something like Grenadier for his whole grenade motif
I came up with explosive hero: brilliant detonation. But everyone else seems to prefer ground zero
@@kamronspencer4910 that name sounds cool but it doesn't really fit someone like Bakugou and I have no idea where ground zero came from.
Outlawed Soul apparently it was the beta design hero name for bakugou that the author liked the most.
@@kamronspencer4910 oooooooh ok then
Ok so am I the only one that thinks Bakugo was doing the same training deku was doing and that was why he was shaking too. Also why he called them idiots, because usually he says that when they are figuring something out that Bakugo considers "obvious".
He's not doing the same training, he's annoyed that Deku is training at all. He's annoyed that his classmates are noticing. He's annoyed that they're impressed by it. Bakugo is always annoyed at Deku, that's just his baseline.
i love Marketa's SnK survey corps necklace!
I think denki should of went with "Pikachu the 2nd" 😂
It's almost time for the ops to reach God level
fun fact bakugous hero name was originally going to be "ground zero"
Carly Fernandez it still might be
@@iwillcry true
Nope! Its Dynamight !!
Nahid picked the best and worst name. Dragon is so awesome that everything you do and say always has to be badass. I couldn't keep that up all day lol
My Hero Academia Abridged is a thing, hope you get around to watching that too, only one episode out at the moment but it has a lot of the great voice actors.
Invisible Woman is the name of a Marvel hero from the Fantastic Four. Her husband is Mr. Fantastic.
btw in the manga or sub (i think not sure bout sub part) first time uraraka called Midorya Decku, she said it gives the vibe of the one that never gives up and keep trying and standing up, that's the different meaning for that name instead of how Bakugo means it as usless or good for nothing
Did anyone notice that at the beginning of the show from season 1 that all might captured the sludge villain in a Torino soda bottle and that cortana is on midoriya's computer
Oh god the foreshadowing about bakugo and music...Season 4 people ! Can't wait !!
It's crazy Griesha's people, They have so much more advancedments with technology and every day Life, like photographs, electric gates, blimps, brick and mortar, Reiner and Zeke were even drinking coffee and even thier style of clothing. Plus the star armbands some of these people are wearing coupled with the fact they a wall is separates them, it's reminding of 1940's era germany. Mean while the people behind the walls seem like they are in the 1800s
The level of DONEtm/IDGAF Aizawa reaches at times. I love this guy. i think it's pretty much canon now that he gets dragged into stuff because it's too much of a bother to argue he won't fun fact: Bakugou actually can play drums really well
8:23 I like him and all, but I don't buy for a second that Kaminari reads Hemingway
probably googled him for a school project.
11:04 bakugo plays drums heavy metal. Apparently really good at it too.
My Hero Academia Mondays! 🙌🏾 Rana over there drowning in her fav's lol. Looks super comfy.
Reaction begins at 2:22
no language can beat the Japanese dub of " i cannot stop twinkling".
apparentl "king explosion murder" is actually some super smart pun on bakugo's name but it doesn't translate well into english
Horikoshi and his team straight up admits to being a tad pervy in one of the manga pages
Why’d I get confused at the intro and think I was watching an episode of My hero and I knew the song sounded different so I was confusedly bopping along and then I got scared when they appeared and remembered I was watching this video 😂😂😂😂
shit's gonna get real in the next couple of episodes....
I still wish they let her choose alien queen as a hero name
It All Might Birthday today.
Deku birthday is July 15.
Iida birthday is August 22.🎂
*eats dinner and watches*
Hello there.
Susan Storm Richards of the Fantastic Four stater her career as Invisible Girl before she later changed her name to Invisible Woman
Majority of people who watched this part said that iida is going to the dark side
When he talked about Sun I remebered Sun Eater, ppl that read the manga knows what I mean.
This is for you Normies a funny fact about the way Urarkaka uses her quirk is she has pads on her fingertips that you can see if you look closely.
“You already know what it means. Nobody’s quirk is an umbrella.” LMAO good one Marketta
Can’t wait till you get to season 3
happy frog "Froppy"
Shouto's name is actually a working hero name, since it's written with the kanji for burning and freezing. Tenya has no such excuse, as his name is written with the kanji for heaven and how/what/alas.
Shouto's name in kanji literally means "BurntFrozen" so I guess that a fitting hero name too XD
About the other names, nothing was changed, the students do use english sometimes~ Aoyama is just a bit "quirky" since he doesn't seem to be able to decide between speaking English or French, he's just trop chic! XD
KINg explosion murder had me laughing so hard 😂😂
When he said, Shoto used his own name is, lame ㅡ look at Rana's face 😂😂
Fun fact in the end kirishima helped bakugou pick the name "Ground Zero" I love that 😂💗
Edited: nevermind it's not a fact but is a fan theory:)
That’s not confirmed that’s just the most likely fan theory since In a pre story draft that was the possible hero name for him.
@@kamronspencer4910 oh ok I didnt know that I just assumed that since I've read so many times from multiple different people sorry for the incorrect fact then 😅thanks for letting me k ow
Fatima xoxo it is still the most likely name though. It’s just not confirmed.
Yh I understand thanks for saying:)))
if it was true, it would be a spoiler
I love this episode like seriously I read vigilantes but this shows in the anime how much Hizashi’s friendship mattered if he never changed it.
The Japanese language has numerous different character sets. "Romajin" (the Latin alphabet) is officially part of the Japanese language and is taught in school alongside hiragana, katakana, and kanji. Japanese students would be used to mixing all the different character sets together because that's just how things are done in Japanese.
I was really excited about what was Shoto’s hero name was doing to be
Here’s something you Normies should know. On the internet, people call Young Midoriya, Small Might. Adorable, right?
The fanservice in My Hero is tame compared to most other animes.
Still real dumb at times
Next season has a pool episode and bath scene
@@DumbIdeaPresentedStupidly Yeah, but that's just a trope -- most anime have a pool/hotspring/beach episode(s). There's a big difference between My Hero's fanservice than say Fairy Tail's (which, along with the writing made me hate it.)
@@DumbIdeaPresentedStupidly Boohoo
@@DumbIdeaPresentedStupidly It should be noted the pool episode was a half baked recap episode that wasn't in the manga
Glorious bath scene.
And so begins the arc to created some of the best development in the show. & an episode that cemented a certain 1-A student as best girl (fight me).
waittt which one?? momo??
The invisible woman from the fantastic four was originally called the invisible girl
Love all the role models everyone has
