Who the devil bothers to knock around here? No truer words ever spoken. Lancer doors open to one and all. The badder the better😳. James was so good with kids. That is a special talent.
thanks for posting this. i have not seen lancer since a couple of years after it left network. the show left network around 1970. the repeats were only shown locally until about 1972 or 1973. i was in the second grade in the 1969 - 1970 school year. my friends and i used to reenact the previous night's episode the next day at recess on the playground. lancer, the high chaparral, gunsmoke, cutter's trail and the big valley were all very popular on that playground long, long ago. today is my 60th birthday. this is the episode i always remember best about the series. thank you.
I really enjoy the Pat Hingle character trying to impress everyone with his supernatural knowledge of their lives, but just skipping over Scott. The perfect way to wind up Scott Lancer is to make him wind himself up by obsessively wondering why you skipped him. Well played, guy who may or may not be the devil. Well played.
This story was a great one with it contents referring to the 😈 & it's demons made you think the dark was filled with ghosts goblin and ghoulds. But too me the character of Abbelson Weir was trying to bring out the dark long dead so called demon of johnny lancer, also known as johnny madrid. keeping to his true nature the character of weir was trying to evoke the dark side of johnny to come to his side of the fence. And i agree it was a great halloween scare story.
So far, I found this one the best, but disappointed at the ending. I really do not know what happened...did Johnny killed Weir? It was unlike the character that Pat Hingle played...I at least expected a duel between the 2 fastest 'guns of the west.
@@noel888 yes, a showdown between Weir and Johnny is the missing element, but I think it was handled to keep the dark mystery of Weir. Too bad many of the scenes are too dark.
Too bad that the series was cancelled, otherwise we may have seen Weir come back in another episode. I don't think he died at the end. This episode could have had a part 2.
You folks got a lot more out of the story than I did. I just found it weird, with too many 'wind' scenes, lightning flashes, and the very disturbing sequence involving the horse's death. The only redeeming feature for me, as always, was the magnificent acting of JS.
I'll always love Lancer and James Stacy! Great western! Cast wonderful. James Stacy 4ever❤
All of the actors in the series have all passed on now.
@@seerstone8982My PRAYERS for all of them, and their families.

Jelly said smells like rotten eggs or sulfur and Johnny laughed & sniffed Jelly...too cute !!

All of the episodes were posted in better picture quality, but all of them got removed.

Only liked this episode for James Stacy!!!
Didn't enjoy this episode but Johnny was as gorgeous as ever.
why is their kitchen different in this episode, not like their other kitchen which showed them to be rich
what happened in the end?
The end of Weir remains a mystery. Can't even tell if Johnny shot him. Very strange episode, but Johnny's part was great.
The bad luck Stacy had. He and a girl were hit by a drunken driver , she died and he had his left arm and part of his left leg amputated
The name is spelled Hacket.
Ok. I changed it. Thanks.
Too silly . Made it to 15 minutes, I'm out!
Then you missed the scene where the lovely Teresa went skinny dipping in pond😊
