That is a good point for variable speed or 2-speed pump owners. The pump should be on a higher speed when doing this kind of clean up. My pump is a little oversized, so I ran it at 80%.
@@Inyopools hey are you going to make a video just about pool safety like swimming near drain covers, jumping in spas and stuff like that. In a hotel where we are right now, I see every day little girls with long hair swimming in a cloudy spa (cloudy because of bubbles and nets), swimming all the way to the bottom and they are not able to see the 25 inch square main drains sucking so strong. And since we are on a vacation in Croatia, pools here don’t have a safety main drain covers but instead a standard covers that can be blocked by full body part and can also trap someone’s hair. I suggested children’s parents to tell them to not dive in the spa, but now they are looking at me weird lol.
i know this isn’t relevant to this video but i have a question on why my pool pump turns on then turns off. It was working perfectly fine but it was turned on and off too fast then it stopped working any thoughts?
I'd check the wiring at the motor terminal and confirm that the connections are tight. Also, test the power at the motor to make sure it's receiving power from the breaker/timer. Another issue could be a blown capacitor. www.inyopools.com/blog/test-pool-pump-capacitor/
Thanks. So helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Did you have your pump on the full speed? I kind a think you should have it on highest speed while you’re running it 24/7 to speed up the process.

@@Inyopools I would still keep it on 100% during that process.

Sometimes, the PSI drops if the water level drops in hot weather.
Atleast you can see the bottom I can’t 😩😱😭
Oh no! Keep the pump running and clean that filter as much as possible.
From pond to pool.
