Did a port dump on NAE 55. Everything comes up but the I P address is all zeros and DC HP is disabled. I have the device name and the device MAC address but that’s it is there another way to get him to reset the IP address back to what it supposed to be
You should be able to access the device simply by using the mac address and you can set the ip to whatever you need it to be. You can also change the DHCP enable from the configuration tab when you are logged into the device.

Thank you for your response. After realizing that the NAE was DHCP enabled, I connected to our company network and an IP address was then assigned. From there I was able to connect via the assigned IP address using Launcher. Thanks again for sharing your invaluable knowledge on Metasys.

Once you gain access and get the IP address you should be able to log into SMP if you have the credentials

Hyperterminal is made to connect through a com port. I don't believe you will be able to connect with it that way.

If you're using the launcher tool use the mac address of the device. Dont put spaces or periods between the numbers

This is the metasys software . The individual devices will have a version embedded into them but the server software is.

Not yet but the upgrade will depend on the version you are wanting to upgrade to. 8.0 allows you to upgrade directly from the server.
