Yeah no, Beyoncé actually did get an award that night. Taylor got Best Female Video (a fan-voted award), but later that night Beyoncé won Best Video (the better award, which is decided by the VMA).
No one seems to remember that though, because Kanye made it about himself, and all we remember is what HE did. If he had kept his mouth shut, we could be celebrating Beyoncé, but he screwed over her and Taylor by acting this way 😔

If you had you would realize that Kanye not only produced his beats, but also produced one of the best albums of all time. MBDTF appealed to everyone and still does to this day. Until Pink comes with an album anywhere near the level of Kanye West's Kid See Ghosts, MBDTF, College dropout or even his least liked album Yeezus, then you can shut your fat shit-eating mouth and actually look into Kanye's work, You'd see that producing is a fuck ton of more work than just writing lyrics, and he does all of that.
