Well done, I don’t think we could tackle that climb, and the view looks stunning.

      Hi Tim,
It was a nice walk and view. Katty thought it was easy 🤣🤣🤣

Police where white men back then. So sad it's the only time white people talk about white man crimes back in that era. Mackay was the last slave port in Australia. She didn't leap she was saving her self and the life of her child.
Queensland was the worst place for blacks back in the day. We had to have passes and permission to travel anywhere mum said it was like dog tags. We could only travel at night and had to show permission slips to travel on the train.
Mackay printed in the paper mid seventies that highest population of Mackay was blacks but the picture painted in the local paper was of a big black 🦍.
Now people walk about like that history didn't happened.

@user-zy8jb1eh8v I am sorry you don’t think we did justice to this history. We certainly try to highlight all historic stories we come across no matter who or where people are from. Cheers Katty

Very nice video, Kathy and Karl. Kathy, rather ride on a crocodile, because you can sit comfortably on it and climb on it.
    Best regards from Frankfurt.

      Hi Gerold,
I’m not sure Katty would like the Crocodile idea. 😁

About eight years ago I knew two beautiful girls who were the direct descendants of the baby who survived that desperate leap by her mother who died. The baby was found by a settler couple who raised her as their own.

@@nowhereboundtouring I just hope you are on an exponential growth curve where getting from 0 to 10k takes the same time as 10k to 100k, that takes the same time as 100k - 1M...though the latter may be a little harder/longer - you reckon there are 1M people that (if they knew of you channel) would subscribe to the content? Maybe worldwide? You guys are doing great - you are amicable, sensible and capable.

Wellcome to the last slave port in Australia.. ask them what they did to the slaves. Show the whipping walls and tge Mango trees that were used as hanging trees.

Dislike for the acknowledgment. Totally unnecessary and just virtue signaling.
