What reset can’t you do?
Why do you rapid reset so goofy, it’s like you dont even cancel ur flip. Honestly seems better for getting alot since it cushions the ball, but bad for a comp shot since you don’t pop the ball every flip
something about octane just always looks much cleaner then dominus in my opinion.
Agreed, even if dominus hits better shots the car just looks too boxy

I'm a Dominus main but I liked the Octane clips better in this one tbh. Ofc the Dom shots were still insane, but I feel like Dom favours resets and power, which makes it easier to just rip absurd shots on the net, while Octane is a little worse at that which forces players to stick closer to the ball, which leads to more creativity.
That said, I don't think there's anything you can do in one car that you can't do in the other.

thing is is that most of the octane clips are in game with more players and have people trying to contest the attempts while a lot of dom clips are mostly in 1s

My be biased as a dominus player myself but I think dominus definitely should have won a couple more than they did, but a well deserved win from team octane (fennec also I guess)
Dominus: Good redirects, nice direct shots, but way less variances in the overall mechs.
Octane/Fennec: Crazy recoverys, good variances in mechs, way cleaner movement.
dont get me wrong on here, hittin these shots in comp, with limited boost is insane BUT... octane/fennecs are unbeaten here, alone the flipreset, turtlecatch to the scoop... jesus...
Wayton gets so hyped for creative shots, not the biggest fan of his recent vids but I would absolutely love to see him learn some more advanced freestyling mechs and see where he takes it

I'm biased towards octane. Something about the way octane moves and interacts with the ball just looks so good to me. For me, dominus still won 2 of the rounds, but I really had to stop myself after seeing the clips and really think about how mechanically impressivehe shots were, instead of just picking octane every round because I thought the clips looked cleaner.
bro, maybe start a "review" series where you watch some of your old tutorials and critique/commentate on yourself and the information you gave at the time.
I miss seeing videos more frequently from you. thats the only real reason I'm commenting this. but, a lot of your help videos really were clean and great information.

I feel the time length of each teams clips entire show time should be similar! I felt I got to watch more octane play. Overall awesome video though!

Can we be honest here like brutally honest, frontalpanda is very good u can’t take away the skill HOWEVER when ever I see a clip it’s….just……flip resets………gets boring pretty fast
It's not because it's just flips resets, it's the way he does them. Take a look a jxsh, he also mostly does only resets but its WAY more cleaner and enjoyable

If you're referring to 2:24 he meant that 4 resets is normal for frontal panda, not in general.
With the thing regarding comps, it doesn't say which rank. In the clip at 5:51 the defender didn't even jump. Idk which rank frontal panda is in, but from his mechanics he should be at least high champ or gc in 1s and there is no way the defender wouldn't jump at some point.
I guess it's more like the octane shots were different and the dom shots were more in the expected ways.

The thing about dominus freestylers its quite predictable. You are expected to do mustys and flip resets with it. The octane isnt specific to 1 mechanic, making it look as if it has more variety

Ppl who main dominus just do too predictable clips like pinches, flip resets and sidewalls to impress them. (Not saying its not impressive of hard to make those clips)

This is cool, but seeing freestylers in real time is much better. I feel a hit of dopamine when I see them going for ultra difficult stuff and being able to pull them off in real time. This reaction video is okay but I could just watch a montage.
Just a bit tricky to organise 9 different people from different timezones to show up at the same time and to all wait as people 1v1 for a vid
