I split my big toenail this week and had to cut off a decent amount and thought "I need to remove the overburdened toe horn so my toe can make a full recovery"

I found your channel last summer in the middle of the night. I was 5 months pregnant and having trouble sleeping. Between your soothing voice and the wonderful music, you eased my anxiety and helped me to sleep. I learned a few things at the same time.
His videos have helped me fall asleep too! Love this channel and I love learning about cow feet
Amazing, I had no idea there were others who used this channel to decompress, i.e., not to become hoof trimmers. However, I've also learned more about cow care which is not a bad thing.

My grandpa must have been an odd farmer. When he worked on his cows he washed their feet better then he washed mine. He treated them better then his kids and only butchered them if he needed meat for his family and he milked some. He would even take the hose and washed the poop off every week. Now he wasn’t a big farmer by no means but he was a good one and a great caretaker of his animals. The most he had at one time was about 35/40. He also had horses and chickens and pigs. We always cleaning the barns and chicken coups. I miss him. My uncle was a farrier. Great video!

That he didn't have many cows is the answer. Graeme often visits farms with hundreds of cows, so he has to do the best job he can in as little time as possible for each cow. That usually means skipping unnecessary steps like washing feet.

It warms my soul to hear of people going the extra mile to make an animals life more comfortable…..especially when the general consensus is that it’s not necessary for the animals health. We should treat animals the same as we want to be treated, they deserve it.
My mom would save bacon grease, and applied it to her horses hooves with a toothbrush

I can't stop watching the Hoof GP videos, as there is something strangely memorizing and satisfying about them. Friends and family are saying "you're watching what?" Now some of them are tunned in too.

You have said, on occasion, that the hoof is like a shoe on the cow's foot. Similarly, I know that wearing brand new ultra supportive shoes, after wearing the old ones into the dust, is an entirely weird, new, and "Wow!" kind of experience for me. I can totally feel how she is walking in her 'new shoes'...
There is a Zen-ness to watching an effective, efficient hoof trim. It is very satisfying. Good Job, keep up the excellent work!
Fold the flags small and make a collage on the wall. This will save space dramatically and keep it interesting. You could make it globe based and create a map or something to represent where the flags came from.
Or suspend them from the shop ceiling

Having grown up on a farm and living in farm country again for many years, I really love cows. I truly enjoy watching you and Craig. I also follow Craigie Boy and your brother James. Scotland looks like a wonderful country. 👍👍❤️😁
My dog recently passed and we both loved watching your channel. Your channel was the only thing that would calm him for a while. It still hurts, but watching these videos bring me so much comfort. It's almost like my little Ollie is still here with me. Thank you for keeping the cows healthy and me somewhat sane lol.

Who would have thought there was substantial viewership for cattle hoof trimming? The fact regular people in all these different professions can share their trade with interested viewers online and prosper from it is a beautiful thing.

I understand what you were trying to say in the other video about how it feels to make the cow's lives better. Anytime we can do something that makes any animals lives better be, they tame or wild, it's a feeling that is hard to describe to someone else. That's why I love your videos so much, and I love the music you have with your videos.

Found your channel several months ago. You are the greatest. Love listening to you. So calming. Love how you care for these animals. You’re so humble. Never even knew cows could have all this wrong. My parents grew up on a farm. Moved to city. So I’m “citified”. Lol. But love animals. It’s a blessing knowing there are people out there who help them & care about their discomfort.

I had an idea to more clearly illustrate the difference in hoof size before and after the trim. Use a small, brightly colored ruler as a reference. A 6 inch, plastic ruler can be had for really cheap, and
it would be easy to keep with your other tools in the crush!

I think it's built in to the.. back door? At least it looks like it could act as a shield when it's closed behind a cow
Love watching this channel and Craig's. You each have your own style, but also great content. Listening to the two of you and seeing the gorgeous landscape as you drive out to the farms is almost as good as being there.
