UPDATE: Some knowledgeable superheroes have informed me in the comments that the Newborn is a knock-off, as suggested by the warped lower legs. No worries on my end, since I paid a good price and I still like the figure. But I wanted to keep you folks informed in the interest of making more thorough content in the future! (meanwhile, the Engineer IS authentic)

@@Thegeobot honestly, everything looks ok to me. Checking some images online (in-hand and stock photos) it's like a 50/50. My guess is it depends on how the figure was packed. I've erroneously gotten knock-off NECA figures in my early days and those fell apart like Lincoln Logs. My guess is because he's so big, some people got ones which were condensed in their plastic bubble. But I can give it hot water and see if anything changes...🤔
@@ThegeobotI think I also recall that while filming, the camera made some colors a bit darker for some reason? But really I had no issues with this figure at all.
@@gustavcarl much thanks! When I have my computer fixed, I do plan on revising the title and description so no one else gets spun like me. I'm actually fine with the knock-off, but this is still an important lesson in paying attention!👍
