What a wonderful legacy of music Ammai- (as my son Sri fondly refers to her) is giving us! My children Sri and Maha are very fortunate to learn from her son Sri. Syamakrishna. The whole family is so unassuming and steeped in musical tradition- it’s our privilege and honor to know them and be like a family member to them! Congratulations amma, our wishes for many more healthy, musical years and thank you for all the love and affection your family has showered on us all these years!

. ടീച്ചറുടെ വീടിൻറെ തൊട്ടടുത്ത വീട്ടിലാണ് ഞാൻ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്. നീണ്ട 20 വർഷം. ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരുമിച്ചാണ് കോളേജിൽ പോകുന്നതും വരുന്നതും. ടീച്ചറുടെ മക്കളോടുള്ള സ്നേഹവും വാൽസല്യവും എന്നോടും എൻറെ മകനോടും ടീച്ചറിന് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. സ്നേഹ നിധിയാണ് ടീച്ചർ. ആയുസ്സും ആരോഗ്യവും ടീച്ചറിന് ശ്രീപത്മനാഭൻ നൽകട്ടെ എന്ന് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു

Ambika teacher is one of the stalwarts who flourished and contributed much to the development of our music.. It is a great effort by my dear classmate Dr. K. Bindu... 🙏🏽 Ammai! Very happy I could visit you last year and spend some time with all of you. Syam sir always refers to you always while teaching me- telling me how disciplined the singing, brigas and Sangathi’s have to be. After watching the documentary and listening to the small clips, I now understand what he means.
I will come and visit when I come to India again.
